Modern house with terraces and private parking for 2-3 cars. Spectacular views. Peaceful location with 5 min drive to Rose or Krasici beaches, restaurants and supermarkets. In an area of natural beauty, ideal for walkers and those with an appreciation of spectacular scenery, as well as those wanting to be within reasonable driving distance of the larger Lustica beaches, such as Plavi Horizonti or Zanjice. Air-conditioning in three of the four bedrooms. Three bathrooms (one of which is en-suite). Very fairly priced, for this beautiful location.

Chris Lentge and Helen Lentge are a family team (mother and son) based in London, England. They are experienced landlords with a portfolio of rental property in the UK, and a wealth of knowledge and experience after renting out property to satisfied tenants in the UK for over seven years. This is their first property aimed at the summer rentals market, and they aim to please. They use a reputable local company based in Kotor - Montenegro Accommodation - run by an experienced British couple, who fully manage the weekly rentals, and take care of any issues swiftly should they arise. "I first came to Montenegro in 2006 looking for a holiday property and immediately fell in love with the Lustica peninsular. I was blown away by the views and I realised very quickly there was nowhere else I was going to invest other than here. The peninsular has a very distinct feel, more peaceful and remote than other parts of Montenegro. Less touristy, with less traffic and hustle and bustle. Zabrdje in particular has an atmosphere like a village and you'll find people here to be very friendly and welcoming. On the other side of the peninsular you can find beautiful wild horses feeding on the grass by the side of the road. It really is idyllic." Chris Lentge - April 2011.

What makes this unique

"One very distinct advantage you find in Lustica, as opposed to say, Kotor, is that any low clouds (that is, if you do actually see any clouds) tend to pass over Lustica and then break over Kotor (Kotor having higher mountains which can trap low clouds). On several occasions I have found myself in Kotor on what looks like a cloudy day, only to drive back up to Lustica to find a hot, sunny day awaiting me. On top of this are of course the stunning views (and our property provides some of the best and highest on this side of the peninsular). On occasion I have simply sat on the terrace watching the sunset, not moving for what seemed like hours. Humbled by nature's beauty. Content simply to be in the company of the beautiful mountainscape." Chris Lentge - April 2011.

Car: necessary

Special interest holidays:

Lustica is an area of remarkable natural beauty, and therefore ideal for walkers and those with an appreciation of spectacular scenery.

Coast/Beach:

5 mins drive to Krasici, or Rose beaches. 15 mins drive to larger beaches of Plavi Horizonti and Zanjice/Miristar.

Travel:

15 - 20 mins drive to Tivat airport. 1.5 - 2 hour drive to Dubrovnik airport. Easyjet are now flying to Dubrovnik from London, offering very competitive prices. At either airport we can recommend reasonably priced car hire firms. Car is essential due to location of property. However, there is a proper tarmac road going right the way to the property (not just a dirt track, so no need to hire a 4-wheel drive).

Distances:

Kotor and Tivat are both approx. 20 mins drive, and Budva is approx. 40 mins drive.

Further Details:

The beautiful fishing village of Rose is less than ten minutes drive away, offering a selection of restaurants, and scuba diving facilities. Rose offers boat trips across the bay to Herceg Novi, as do the beaches of Zanjice and Mirostar, which also boast a selection of restaurants. Krasici is 5 mins drive down the hill and there are some good beachfront bars and restaurants. Taxis also available from here to take you back to the house if you've had one drink too many! The spectacular medieval town of Kotor is approx 20 mins away by car and is a must-see.
