Pond Meadow was once a hayloft with milking parlour below, It has now been converted to a beautiful 3 bed holiday cottage with veranda, private garden & views across the pond and out to sea. It is set just 30 seconds from the seafront. Portholland has recently been declared a National Heritage Asset. The areas around Portholland are virtually unchanged for well over 100 years. This hamlet of Portholland where time seems to have stood still is a rarity in this day and age. At high tide Portholland has 2 separate coves but when the tide is low these coves are joined together by golden sand. Ideal for families Portholland is equidistant between St Austell and Truro and is a great base for exploring deeper into the intriguing Roseland Peninsula with a great choice of pubs and restaurants within a short drive. It is also particularly well placed as it receives the maximum amount of sunshine most of the year thus creating a balmy type climate that lasts until Autumn.

What an amazing gem! Couldn’t have asked for a better first couple of days on my sojourn! I love off the beaten path with no people around and this was it! The place was cozy, clean and comfortable as well as easy access to the coastal path. I would highly recommend to couples that like privacy and a sense of being in the middle of nowhere, perfect! Thank you Joanne for making me feel welcome.
Great little retreat
Very comfortable cottage in a lovely setting, the beds are 10 out of 10, good secure garden for the dogs, and the owners so very friendly, everything you need here and more, looking forward to our return visit, so peaceful thank you Kris and Jo.
