Just had a short break with my two grown up daughters in The Happy Hen House. We three chickens roosted there very happily. Beautiful cottage, comfortable, well equipped spotlessly clean and in a picturesque, peaceful location, I didn't want to leave! Owners Jo and Jon friendly and helpful and it was love at first sight with Woody the gorgeous dog. Will be returning in 2016.
We arrived late afternoon and were welcomed by Jo and Jon, the owners, who showed us around and we were impressed with the high standard of the cottage and the rural location. The cottage is just short drive from the Jurassic Coast town of Lyme Regis and all its amenities. The cottage has its own fenced off garden area with outside furniture and barbecue to allow for "Alfresco Eating".
A place we will certainly return to.
