Now with Wi-Fi and full UK TV.. One of the nicest and best positioned of just 18 smart houses in a quiet area with sunshine all day long and a large pool. Our lovely Cyprus home is a tastefully furnished, luxury 2 bedroom, 3 WC townhouse on the edge of a delightful Cypriot village. Anarita Gardens is a very well kept small development with colourful, mature gardens and pool. Several of the houses have friendly British permanent residents who take exceptional pride in the appearance of their pretty surroundings - and it shows. Our home is in superb order and has it’s own south facing terrace and small garden. There are pleasant views from all aspects front and rear, whilst a few metres away is a well kept and inviting pool, plus the outdoor facilities you might expect including sun beds, umbrellas, toilets and showers.

About The Owner

Hi, my name is Sue. I currently live in rural North Wales, although during my life I have also lived in various other countries of the world, and still travel frequently. I am an interior designer with much of my work coming from creating 'show homes'. I enjoy transplanting design ideas from other countries into my future projects.

Why The Owner chose Anarita

We bought a house in Anarita because it is a lovely, friendly village. It is easily possible to stroll from the house to either a shop, bank, bus stop or restaurant. A short drive can include more villages and 10 minutes on the Highway means Paphos town, harbour and beaches are available. Also the house being very convenient for the airport was a plus point. Access to the mountains is easy from Anarita too, and although I don't play golf, I might want to in the future so with three excellent courses just 10 minutes away the facilities are there if I want them. So in a nutshell it is one of 18 lovely houses with great permanent neighbours in a quiet village but yet so close to good quality amenities.

What makes this house unique

The thing about Cyprus is weather, language and driving.

Even in winter the temperature rarely falls below 16 degrees during the day, so whenever we go there the sun is almost guaranteed.. Almost everyone speaks English which makes things very easy if you need to ask anything, and with motoring on the same side of the road as the UK, it all drops into place nicely and reduces the hassle of visiting a foreign country considerably. Lot's of people own holiday homes abroad of course, but often they are unfortunately just maintained to a minimum standard. Having used the house ourselves we are confident that it has everything needed for a relaxing and problem free holiday.

This house although 6 years old has only really been used by ourselves with just occasional guests, which is why it is in such excellent order. We are now putting it on to the rental market for this year 2014.

Notes on accommodation: Your holiday stay would be in our 100 Sqm luxury house standing on the favoured south side of Anarita Gardens, as such it collects all day long sunshine. Both upper and lower storeys are yours, so no need to worry about noisy neighbours above, below or even to the side for that matter. Accommodation comprises two en-suite bedrooms with comfortable beds, Both bedrooms have distant sea/pool or mountain views from the windows. The living/dining area has climate control, leather sofa, and quality lighting, also a comprehensive multi page guide to the area. There are excellent WC facilities on both floors, and laundry facilities also ready for your use. The pool is just a few strides from the garden, and the whole property has been thoughtfully equipped and finished - this is our home, and should not be confused with an economically fitted out holiday let, we are sure there is no nicer house at the price. We only ask that you take reasonable care of our house during your stay. Outside: Number 3 Anarita Gardens is one of just 18 properties surrounding an exclusive and tempting shared pool/sunbathing area within a newly completed development on the outskirts of Anarita. Sunseekers wishing to relax in glorious sunshine all day long with that indispensable long cool drink and a book from our 'library' are well catered for on the small patio/terrace of this house. Alternatively the refreshing pool and friendly relaxing areas are just a few paces away. Attractively landscaped, with sunbeds and umbrella shades provided for your use. There are toilet and shower facilities available just off the pool area. A car parking space is also provided for your use, and is just 20 metres away, whilst Anarita village and it's amenities are a leisurely 4 minute stroll away. As a no smoking house guests are politely requested to use the outdoor areas if needed – thank you Utility Room: The kitchen also houses the laundry facilities of washing machine and iron/ironing board and dryer Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All necessary linen and towels are provided for your use. For rental periods of 10 days or more, a mid term bed linen and towel change will be provided. For periods in excess of 20 days there will be 2 linen changes and a mid term clean provided. Other: The shared outdoor pool area is attractively landscaped, and has sunbeds and shades for your use. There are also toilet and shower facilities in the pool area. A car parking space is provided and is just thirty paces along level ground.

Simply perfect

Having spent the previous 3 years holiday in Paphos itself we decided to stay in a Cypriot village but still within easy access of Paphos. Anarita is a marvellous choice not just for that, but also for exploring the coastline and many other villages between Paphos and Lemesos.

The villa is exactly as described and was perfect for our holiday. Very clean and well presented, set amongst beautiful gardens and very quiet, no traffic noise whatsoever. Most of the time we had the pool to ourselves and it certainly kept my three happily entertained. From initial enquiry to final booking to last minute questions, the whole booking process was handled professionally and friendly.

The village is very easily walkable, takes less than 5 minutes at strolling pace as it's too hot for any faster! Handy minimart and a handful of tavernas/restaurants. Our favourite was Alexandross. The food was freshly cooked, very reasonably priced and the owner very kind and friendly.

Although not strictly necessary, a car is advisable. This allowed us to take up recommendations from friendly neighbours at the villa and visit many of the beaches and villages nearby and a little further afield too. Paphos is 15 minutes in the car along the easily accessible motorway or the old B6 road which gives you a chance to see more.

The apartment has nice little touches such as welcome pack, beach towels (v important in these days of charge for everything airlines) icebox and freezer packs for picnics, and English TV, an amenity that doesn't have to be used but handy all the same. There isn't any wifi - for me this was a plus on a family holiday, it is available at no cost in most bars and restaurants as a compromise if you have, like me, teens who feel like their oxygen supply has been severed without it.

I loved the whole experience of a wonderful apartment set a small friendly complex, semi rural in a Cypriot village, with all that Paphos has to offer close by.

Anarita Gardens

We have just returned from a one week stay in this beautiful house. So p[leased we chose from the many adverts this accommodation. The house is luxurious, sparkling and has everything to make a self catering holiday perfect. The local residents are helpful and kind(gave us a lift to our week two apartment and offered lots of useful advice including car hire from Elephant)The village is lovely with plenty of good places to eat. We tried them all and found each had its own atmosphere and ambience. We will certainly be returning as soon as we can. Thank you Sue.

Brilliant Stay

I have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Cyprus. As I'm quite particular when it comes to accommodations and standards, this house helped make the holiday perfect. The pictures don't really do it justice. This house is immaculate; attractive and well-laid out. It has everything you'll need and really is a home away from home. The owner Sue has thought about everything to make stays comfortable; there was nothing that I needed to go out and buy.

Anarita is not built up; it is not full of tourists, but is close enough to Paphos, beaches, places of historical interest. Just a short 15 minute drive into Paphos and from there you can get anywhere. You must have a car (recommend Argus Car Hire for the best prices) and then be sure to follow the directions left by Sue as they are faultless. I went over on my own with two young children and was never nervous about getting lost as it's so easy to drive in Cyprus.

Places you must go/visit: Olivia's restaurant in Anarita is excellent; Costa's takeaway in Timi; best Fish & Chips in Mandria; Chloe's in Kato Paphos for great Chinese; food in the Mall is excellent (particularly chinese). Visit Trodos mountains and do the walk up to the waterfall; Limmasol for the day; Latchi for a day at the beach and harbour - cute and peaceful; Polis and Pegia and finally Pissouri and Coral Bay - two very different but both lovely beaches.

Finally I have to give a mention to the wonderful neighbours on this small complex. There are some permanent English and Cypriot residents there and both were nice, but the English ones were extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return. P

Thank you so much for letting this accomodation it is absolutely perfect for a beautiful relaxing holiday in Paphos.the house has everything you need for a self catering stay. all rooms are on suite and everywhere in the hosue is immaculatly cleaned and beautifully presented. 4 adults stayed here very comfortably.

Beautiful house book this if you are thinling of visiting cyprus. Excellent valuse for what you get,

Mandria, the nearest beach is unspoilt with almost no development at all, mainly pebbles, there are some sandy patches. Many small beach areas a few km away towards Aphrodite’s Rock. A little further is Pissouri (20 mins), where the fabulous curved bay offers watersports, sunbeds and tavernas. Coral Bay is a very popular blue flag beach about 30 minutes by car. Full directions for this and many other amenities, facilities and attractions are in the welcome portfolio within the house.


You are advised to seek flights to Paphos airport, which is just a few minutes away from the property by car. Taxis are available at the airport, or car hire may be pre-booked online from several companies such as Hertz, Alamo, Avis, Budget, Thrifty, Europcar, Sixt etc.. Which we can assist with if required. Precise driving or taxi directions to the property will of course be provided before your arrival. Alternatively for a small fee we can arrange for you to be collected from the airport


The busy tourist area of Paphos and Kato Paphos are only 15 minutes away using either main roads through villages, or the nearby motorway. The villages of Timi, Mandria and Kouklia (more shops and restaurants) are signposted from Anarita and are an easy few minutes drive away. The major town of Limassol is a 40 minute drive. Coral Bay is 30 minutes, and Nicosia is 90 mins. The Troodos Mountains are a scenic 45 minute drive with the option of several wonderful picturesque routes to choose from.

ON ARRIVAL at your holiday home, you can expect a welcome pack to help you over the initial period before you are able to shop. DRIVING : Traffic drives on the left in Cyprus just as Britain, and all road signage is in English/Greek. Driving etiquette is based on the UK Highway Code, and the average driver should have no fear of renting a car in Cyprus. Fuel is cheaper than UK, and hire cars are young, clean and reliable. Hire cost is also very reasonably priced in comparison with many countries.(contact us for suggested companies). Unless you have hired a car, and are collecting it at the airport. Taxi’s are currently the only public transport operating between the airport and Anarita. ENTERTAINMENT: Just 5 minutes drive from Anarita is the famous Aphrodites rock where you can swim in the turquoise sea. Or drive up to the restaurant high on the rock above and marvel at the spectacular views. Maybe you prefer to cater for yourself? Then pack your own treats and use the free picnic facilities nearby, again offering excellent views. 5 mins drive to Asprokremos Dam and great walks. Also take a trip to the famous Timi market. Open every Sunday, a relaxed browse and only 2 minutes down the road. Nearby Paphos has a lovely harbour area with many shops, bars and restaurants, and various entertaining sailing trips and midnight cruises can also be booked from here. Next to the harbour is the Heritige centre where you can see and actually walk amongst ancient mosaics with a fascinating history. Close too is the famous Tombs of the Kings, again part of the rich cultural heritage of the town. Paphos also has cinemas, 10 pin bowling, a waterpark and a zoo. A visit to the Troodos mountains is also a ‘must’ as the scenery is totally different. Feeling adventurous? Hire a quad bike and really see the region, or maybe an all day jeep safari which will take you to places normal cars cannot reach. Whatever you choose there is plenty to see, and remember the weather is Guaranteed!

The minimum rental period is 7 nights. We accept provisional reservations (3 days) pending your search for flights. A non-refundable deposit of £100 is required on booking; the balance owing to be paid 4 weeks before the holiday begins. Payments by cheque or bank transfer. It is also required that the guest provides a £75 fully refundable damage deposit (against loss of keys, breakages and damage to the property) – a post-dated cheque for your day of departure is best suited to this purpose.
