Lovely house in Dalyan
The house is in a very quiet neighbourhood 15 mins walk from town. Clean and tidy, overlooking fields front and back. Excellent pool and gardens, chairs, sunbeds etc.
Manager Dondu is a lovely helpful lady, good communication, as well as owner Wally.
The house was cleaned every day.
Transfers were spot on.
If you know Dalyan already as a quiet, peaceful friendly riverside town with easy access to Iztuzu beach by boat or bus, you should try this out.
Highly recommended, would come again.
Best swim ever
Beautiful pool. So needed in 34°heat.
The Villa has the best of both worlds in Dalyan. A haven near countryside but close enough to walk to the town & the river.
And the best pool in Dalyan.
Excellent and lovely pool
Had a relaxing holiday. The villa has everything you would want. Great communication with owners.
It was a pleasure to host you at Denizati, Döndû tells me your complete family made full use of the pool as well as enjoying all Dalyan has to offer.
Thank you for making time to write your review
Very helpful owner and manager, we were the only guests of the four villas so had pool to ourselves. Villa a little on small side for 6 plus guests, but who wants to be inside, lovely gardens, glad of the bikes to cycle to town, otherwise a 20 minute walk, but good position lovely views of mountains, would defiantly go back, good value for money.
A fantastic holiday
If you're looking for a modern hi-tech villa this may not be the right choice for you (although it does have free Wifi) But, if you are looking to escape the stresses of everyday life I would thoroughly recommend Villa Denizati! It has everything you need for a perfect holiday. It has a fantastic view from the veranda where we spent many of our meal times and the pool is amazing! With a party of two adults and one child we were spoilt for choice in which air conditioned bedroom to choose. I love that the adequately equipped kitchen opened straight onto the outside space so I didn't have far to go to refresh my drink after a spot of sunbathing and I was delighted that ,unlike many other villas, our outside space was private and out of view of the neighbours. The villa is about a 10-15 minute walk from the centre of town which means there's very little external noise (other than the grasshoppers and frogs!) Dondu, who looks after you during your stay is often about (she lives just down the road) and is quick to offer any assistance that is needed. I have been to Dalyan many times before and over the years it has escaped the spoils of mass tourism and changes little year to year. There are lots of fabulous restaurants to choose from (I would highly recommend Ceyhan on the riverside) and the boat ride to the gorgeous turtle beach only adds to a lovely day out. I would highly recommend Villa Denizati for those who are seeking a getaway from the hoards and how I am missing that view over my morning coffee!
This unspoilt 6Km beach, famous as a nest site for the rare Caretta Carettas turtle can be reached by river taxi or over the mountain by dolmus (small public bus) these scenic trips take less than 30 mins. On arrival you will find showers toilets snack bar sun loungers and parasols at each end of the beach. You will not find hotels, roads or bars as this is a strictly monitored conservation area.
The transfer from Dalaman airport to the villa can be arranged and takes about 25 mins. Car hire is available in Dalyan but we find most visitors enjoy the relaxation of excursions conducted by the numerous companies operating in the town
A level 15 minute stroll will bring you to the centre of the town with its numerous shops restaurants supermarkets and bustling Saturday market. Should you find the temptation of the local goods weigh you down there are ample fixed priced taxis. For the forgotten item you will find a small shop a few minutes at the end of the lane.
An experience not to be missed is to take a river taxi to the mud baths and hot springs on the shores of Koycegiz Lake where it is alleged you will leave looking 10 years younger.
You may also consider taking 'Mamas' rowing boat across the river to explore the Lycian rock tombs and the ruins of the ancient city of Canous.
