Although I work and have a family in Great Britain I am from Cagliari where I was born, studied and lived until my mid-twenties. I still have family connections there and I love going back there at least once a year to feel close to my roots.
Anna purchased this Villa in 1980
Why Anna chose Villasimius
I have always loved the Villasimius ragged coastline and its unspoilt scenery. It is considered to be one of the most beautiful parts of Sardinia. We have owned this house since 1988 and throughout the years we have extensively refurbished and improved it (new bathrooms and kitchen, new beds, replanting of the garden). Since then all our family summer holidays have been spent there and we have beautiful memories of those long summers. We instantly relax when we arrive and we see it as the perfect antidote to a stressful working life. In the last 10 years since we can't be there long enough we have decided to rent and share it with other families. Many guests in the past said how our house feels like a real 'home from home'. Some families have come back to stay year after year.
What makes this Villa unique
When we are there we rarely need to use the car if not for shopping or going to a restaurant. I also know how stressful it can be to travel with children and to this purpose I have equipped the house with a young family in mind- no more tantrums with children during a hot journey in a car. The beach is on your doorstep! The residence and the garden are large spaces and very safe even for the most energetic of children while you relax and sip your favorite drink on the terrace

Lovely family holiday
We stayed at Anna’s villa as 2 families in October half term!
The villa is amazingly well equipped with anything you would need for a family stay.
Anna provides us with brilliant detailed information about the villa in advance and was always available for any questions we had.
It’s in a fabulous position 2 minutes walk to the beach.
For seaside holidays with amazing snorkelling and beautiful scenery stay here!
Thank you we loved it!
I would like to thank Rebecca and Davis for the glowing reviews of our villa. It is so encouraging for us owners to know that our guests have had a wonderful stay. The work to offer the best experience for our guests doesn't ever stop.
Many thanks again
Anna and Graziella

I am very sorry that Daniele found his stay at my villa unsatisfactory .
In my long experience with German guests ( more than 15 years) I have never been asked to provide central heating at the end of May. As from my villa’s details central heating/ air conditioning is an optional extra and I would have gladly arranged to provide it if the guest had thought it might be necessary.
The TV satellite channels do work. It is the responsibility of my guests to find the relevant channels. In recent years we have definitely found our TV tuned to German stations. If the TV stations offered are not satisfactory our Sony Blu-Ray player can be linked to the internet modem to facilitate streaming options such as Netflix.
I keep in constant but discreet contact with guests by email or phone to answer any queries.
The garden is a Mediterranean garden planted with pine and palm trees, yuccas, dracaenas and chicas. Geraniums pots are dotted around the living areas. The area to which Daniele refers is the area assigned to parking and services. The photos in my listing are proof of what we offer.
As for the beach, May is still relatively early in the season and the wether can be changeable. When this occurs, this also has an impact on the beach and the sea. The sea in Sardinia in May may not be as the sea in the core summer months (as is the case in other countries too). We offer a private and secluded beach but by all means my guests are free to choose from the several nearby beaches which are only a short car drive away.
I shall take on board Daniele’s comment on the central heating and make sure that future guests are offered this option when arriving early in the season.
Back to Paradise
This was our second stay at this wonderful villa with magical hosts! This time we were there with friends who were as enthusiastic about the property and the surrounding area as we were. For us this is the perfect holiday villa and the area around Villiasimius is beautiful. We had a great time at the Ristorante Il Miraggio on the spiagia di campus (5 minutes drive to Villiasimius), and a super pizza is available at Su Giganti (also located directly on the SP17 direction Villiasimius). In Villiasimius on the Via del Mare, there is a wine shop Baccusardus - very recommendable there the wine and the ham plate (Dependance is located at Elmas airport next to the car rentals). Don't miss the marketplace on Saturday!
As said in our first review, the villa is perfect for a big family or groups, sleeping rooms with ensuite bathrooms, a very well equiped kitchen which makes you feel like home and all the terrasses and beautiful living rooms - the villa is even better than shown on the pictures and absolutly clean and tidy.
We loved everything and will definitely return. Thank you Anna and Graziella for hosting us!
Some days in paradise
Like some of the guests before us, i really would like to keep this beautiful place secret so we may always have Villa Capo to ourselves!
We arrived on a sunday and found everything we needed for a first breakfast in the fridge! What a kind welcome!

The beach is 2 minutes away, but we discoverd by car serveral other beaches nearby (we prefered Sinzia with the Tamatete bar).
Villasminus is also very close by car, and you find there plenty of good restaurants and supermarkets, a marketplace on saturday and street market during nights.
We loved everything and will definitely return. Thank you Anna and Graziella for hosting us!
Pleasant family holiday
We really enjoyed our stay. House was well equiped and clean.
The beach is perfect for little kids and very beautiful. The manager was very friendly and helpfull.
The location was a bit remote for our liking. Another negative aspect was that some people dressed inappropriatly at the private beach ( topless woman).
But overall we had a wonderfull time.
hidden gem of Sardegna
we has a wonderful time at Anna's beautiful villa at the southern coast. the authentic family-villa is more than charming and relaxing. the beach is a 2 minutes walk from the house through the great shadows of the pinea-trees. it is a very honest place far from the touristic masses although Villasimius, the small town provides everything if needed. we were 11 people (6 adults,5 children) and had our private place and time on our own too. Anna and her sister were more than helpful with everything we needed. we highly recommend it to everyone and will surely go back one day.
The private bay is only accessible to the residents of the compound. The beach itself, a short walk (30 metres) from the garden gate, is sandy, protected and with its shallow waters safe even for the youngest toddler.
The nearest airport, about 1 hour's drive away, is Cagliari International Airport. It is served by scheduled, charter and low cost flights. Easy Jet and British Airways fly from several UK destinations and several other carriers fly from other European countries. Cagliari is also connected by ferry to the mainland at Civitavecchia and Genoa. The use of a car is essential.
The nearest town (5 minutes' drive away) is Villasimius, one of the main family resorts on the south coast of Sardinia, offering many leisure facilities. Within walking distance of the town there are several beaches worth exploring.
Villasimius, with its 35 km of beaches and coves, offers a wide variety of activities: scuba-diving, sailing courses, day boat trips, windsurfing, horse-riding and golf. The coastal area around Villasimius is a protected marine park offering excellent snorkelling and diving opportunities. The mountains which surround the area provide good hiking ground in the cooler seasons.
Restaurants offer excellent local cuisine specialising in fish and meat delicacies, as well as numerous pizzerie. The town centre offers shopping, a thriving Saturday market specialising in local produce, a 24 hour medical centre and banks.
Cagliari, the capital of the region is also worth visiting. It is an old port city with a stylish marina and an old town centre bustling with restaurants and small shops. Within the charming streets of the old city walls, it is worth visiting the excellent archaeological museum (with Roman and Phoenician artefacts), art museum and other monuments. On the 1st May, the city celebrates its Saint protector, Sant’Efisio with a colourful, procession and traditional costumes from all over the island.
