Comfortable cosy family house

The house has a comfortable, friendly, homey feel about it, with everything you could need provided for a good holiday. In particular, the beds were really comfy, and having two living rooms with TVs downstairs was great for kids! The position in the village was also perfect, with the harbour two minutes down the road and all the shops in very easy walking distance. Thank you... we will definitely come again!

Great location homely property

Had a great week here - so much to see and do in the surrounding area and you're only a short walk to beaches and the town. House was really homely, nothing fancy, but has everything you need for a comfortable stay - beds were very comfy!! Thanks for a great week.

We stayed at highgarth for a week in November the cottage had everything. We needed for the Dogs and for us close to the shops and restaurants and the Harbour the beaches were great Thanks.

Well located, spacious property.

The cottage was spotlessly clean with welcome tea and coffee.

The property's location was ideal, with the harbour and coastal walks only seconds away.

Pubs a, restaurants and local shops with a wide selection of local produce.

The decor, furniture, bathroom and kitchen are old fashioned and could do with updating.

A very conveniently located property in Seahouses village; easy access to the harbour and shops.

Highlights of our stay were the visits to the Farne Islands and 'Cragside', a National Trust estate near Rothbury, the former home of the Armstrong family. Lord Armstrong was a famous engineer and entrepreneur of Newcastle and the estate contains several of his inventions.

The only criticism of the property, which can accommodate up to six, is that there is only one toilet and that is located upstairs.

The full balance is due 6 weeks before arrival. A refundable damage deposit of £100 is taken for all bookings.

Changeover Day:
Saturday to Saturday 7 nights. Arrive after 4pm. Departure by 10am.
