We came on a 3 generations holiday and all had a great time. There was loads of room and we were surprised that the property is advertised as having 3 bedrooms as the "luggage" room is plenty big enough to accommodate bunk beds or a single bed. The house was clean and well equipped and the owner answered all of our pre holiday questions in great detail.
I would recommend this property but it's a long up hill climb to get there, so bear in mind if any of your party have mobility problems.
Wonderful holiday home with lovely views.
Top notch property that 's big enough for 7 adults with enough bathing facilities to keep everyone clean and happy,
Even has a great drying room for clothes.
Manoeuvring a big car to park slightly awkward due to a lamp post very close to the entrance to the parking spaces/garages.
This is a lovely house in a great location
Renting the property was extremely easy helped by fantastic communication with Lesley
High field Torquay
A delightful house with stunning views over Torbay
Great views. Well equipped kitchen. Lots of local walks
Lovely spot. Needs a car to get to local shops. Good coffee and food at Meadfoot beach. Great break
Lovely location not really walkable to the shops but quiet and all major facilities within short dri
House clean good rooms and furniture. Slight problem with curtains caused by earlier renters and if being picky kitchen could have done with more oven ware like baking trays.
5 minutes walk to Meadfoot Beach, popular 'locals' beach. This beach has a mixture of rocks and sand. A beach cafe and shop provides everything for the day. A diving shop also stocks canoes and paddle boards and tuition is available. Highlands is a five minute walk from Hopes Nose, a popular fishing spot (Sammy the seal normally takes up residence in the summer months, waiting for his mackerel dinners). Torquay Harbour is a five minute drive or 25 minutes walk along the scenic coastal path.
Exeter arport 25 miles away. Bristol airport 2 hours away.
Recommend the use of a car if you wish to visit the surrounding area.
Wellswood Village is one mile away for convenience shops, restaurants, pub, newspapers, post office and popular Kents Cavern tourist attraction.
A folder is left in the house for the use of guests, with information regarding local attractions and places of interest.
