It is ideal for both couples and families seeking a peaceful location, with lots of on-site facilities and close to the local amenities of Kapparis. 5 minutes drive will take you to Paralimni town centre or the border to Famagusta. Protaras - which boasts the lovely Fig Tree Bay is also nearby. 15 minutes drive will take you to the busier Ayia Napa where you'll find plenty of shops and can have fun at its large water park.

About Helen Craig

We are two hard-working parents living in Belfast, Northern Ireland with two children - Adam, 20 and Aimee, 18. We have always loved our holidays in the sun and fell in love with Cyprus on our first visit some 20 years ago. We've been taking the children to Cyprus since they were toddlers and they now love it as much as we do! We love the climate, beaches, food and people. The whole island is worth exploring.

Why Helen Craig chose Famagusta region

We love this area as it has some rugged coastline and lovely beaches too, all within walking distance. It is a quiet area, where traditional Cyprus meets modern. The area has plenty of restaurants to choose from, supermarkets, pubs and nightlife if you want that too.

What makes this house unique

We chose a house rather than an apartment as we wanted plenty of space, especially outdoor space on ground level to sit outside and enjoy the lovely sunshine and barbeque anytime we wanted. We furnished the house with comfort in mind. It is a real 'home from home' with all the mod cons needed for a family. We also chose a house on a complex with a communal pool so the children would have company. There are also plenty of facilities for them so they won't get bored, especially now that they are teenagers! The added bonus is the on-site gym for us and the wonderful spa and treatments available at very competitive prices.

We stayed here for a week and we had a wonderful time. The house was a real home from home experience, it was spotless and equipped with everything you could possibly need.

The owner Helen was extremely helpful right from the start. She answered every question that we put to her and she even suggested places to go and restaurants to eat in. This was a great help as this was our first visit in Cyprus.

We would have no hesitation recommending this property and we look forward to returning soon.

Fantastic Villa in fantastic location

We had the excellent fortune to come across this Villa in Cyprus. After a very long day and suffering many delays we eventually arrived at our destination bone weary, we thought we had arrived back home. The villa was everything we could have hoped for and more. The photos do not do this place justice. The beds are like high end hotel quality, the place is immaculately kept and has everything you would have at home for cooking and washing clothes. we saved hundreds of pounds by being able to eat in as my family has various food allergies and get fed up of eating food without sauces and a variety of chips and meat in various restaurants. This is the first holiday where we looked forward to eating out instead of having to and thus enjoyed the experience so much more. Our towels and smalls were kept fresh and clean and was a bonus in itself. It is ideally situated in Kapparis which is less than 10mins to the main part of Protaras. The local shops are literally a 3min walk and the beach 5mins stroll. There is a swimming pool just across the way and again is kept immaculate. Although it was 40degrees the children still visited the tennis court on site. We have been to Cyprus many times but this rates as the most relaxing and enjoyable simply because we had the comforts of home with the advantage of fantastic weather, beach and pool. Definitely recommend this villa.

I cannot thank Helen enough for allowing us to rent the villa for our two week holiday and will definitely be going again.

Fantastic holiday, very highly recommended.

We had the pleasure of staying in Helen and Brian’s house for 2 weeks in July and were delighted with how bright and fresh it was on our arrival. It is a beautiful house that was well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It is in a great location just a short walk to local bars and restaurants, with Protaras only a 5 minute drive away. We enjoyed the pool area and bar which caters for all your drinks and food/snacks and sun beds were available at any time of the day. There is a very good gym and tennis court which was great fun and we also treated ourselves to massages in the spa. I would definitely recommend staying here and cannot wait to go back.

Great Holiday

We stayed at Helen and Criag's house for 20 nights September and had a fantastic holiday, It is very well located just a short walk to the local bars and beaches in kapparis and close to Protaras, the house is very clean with everything you need and more The pool area is nice where you can get drinks and snacks and Helen arranged a free gym pass for our holiday period which was great, Aiya Napa is 10-15 minute drive away so lots do if you want to nice owners to deal with would definitely go back again

A revitalising holiday

What a wonderful holiday!! It's been years since I had this carefree, relaxing feeling on holiday! The house was wonderful, in immaculate condition, spotlessly clean, and fully equipped with everything you might need when on holiday! Playstation, DVD player even CDs with music from our time (80s-90s) my personal favourite Phil Collins!! The only thing my teenagers complained about was that there was no WiFi but then with so many other things to do they soon forgot about FACEBOOK!!! Yay!!!! There were crisp clean sheets and towels upon our arrival and a washing machine!!! No dirty 1 week laundry to take home with you!! I also enjoyed the free pass to gym for the week, which was followed by a refreshing swim in the lovely pool!! The pool area was gorgeous too..with an extra bonus Mrs Mary who owns the pool snack bar and is an great cook and a lovely lady....we didn't want to move an inch! There are however great beaches nearby (5-10 min walk) really picturesque with a little harbour and lovely crystal clear turquoise waters. there are supermarkets nearby for your daily needs and a plethora of restaurants all around the area with all the cuisines you can imagine. Protaras is a 10-15 min drive (depending on traffic) and there you can enjoy the lively nightlife or just a walk down the busy streets. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy a holiday in Cyprus. Thanks again for an unforgettable holiday...we are really looking forward to renting again next year!!

Best Town House in Protara!

We love this Kapparis house where we have returned 3 years in a row. It is perfect for a family of 4 with its spacious 2 comfortable bedrooms and a lovely spacious living/dining area as well as a modern kitchen. Aesthetically this house is very attractive and sunny with modern yet cozy furniture. Great quiet location, end unit with separate private parking and a spacious nice size backyard great for barbequing on a summer evening. It?s close to one of the nicest beaches in Protara/Kapparis area (Malama beach), don?t miss the sunset on this beach while sipping your wine or go there after midnight to watch the stars. If you don?t feel like cooking, it is walking distance to great pubs where you can get a full English breakfast at 3.50 Euros. Pool area very nice if you don?t feel like going to the beach one day. There?s also a pool bar where you can get a Frappe or a juice at very reasonable prices 1-2 Euros. Owners are great! Also the complex is well managed and manicured. We have had some of the most memorable summer holidays here!
