Immaculate,designed for maximum comfort
We had a wonderful time.
The villa is fully equipped, immaculate and very comfortable.
Simone the owner has thought of everything to make sure that you relax and enjoy yourself.
The view over the port is simply stunning.
We dipped into the pool every day and spent quite a lot of time on the many balconies to watch the boats.
For the entertainment, there was something for everyone. I travelled with my 13-year-old daughter and she was kept busy and entertained throughout:
We went kayaking as the facility is practically at our door step and we snorkelled at one of the beaches that was nearby ( Arenal de Castell)
We went on the recommended walks along the coast and that was a very pleasant surprise.
The Villa has movies, books, DVDs and aside from the TV which has a nice selection of tv channels we had Chromecast and so could stream some movies.
We will always remember Las Palmeras because we made some priceless memories there.
Thanks very much :-)
We have stayed several times in Las Palmeras and each time we have had the most amazing time...the location is A1 and it has the most fabulous views. The interior is amazing and extremely comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend!
Amazing holiday in a stunning villa!
We had the best stay in this beautiful villa, located right by the sea in Port Adaia. The villa is stunning throughout and very spacious and modern. We used the outdoor kitchen for BBQ's and cooked breakfast in the fully equipped kitchen in the mornings. Such a beautiful villa, perfectly tucked away at the end of the street so lovely and quiet. Can not recommend it enough!
Glorious Villa, with a demanding view of the Port.
Having stayed at this Villa, on two occasions now, We cannot recommend it highly enough. The Villa has just been refurbished,to a high standard, and is maintained impeccably. This building dominates the harbour with fantastic views, with the sun rising at 0645hrs directly onto the terrace, which is fantastic for an early morning breakfast. We arrived early, but everything was in place for our stay. The "Cantina" restaurant, opposite, it just a hop over the wall and the food and staff(Juan) are excellent. Great supermarket, Tapas bar, English/Indian restaurant is a 7 min. walk up the bank. This is an idyllic place if you just want a totally relaxing time with the family.Support/communications from Simone ,the owner, and her support staff were superb. We cannot recommend this Villa high enough. Will we be back........You bet!!!!
Some advise......Book early:)
A beautiful villa, perfect for a relaxing holiday.
Enjoy lovely views of the marina. The villa has everything you need and it has a well designed outdoor kitchen area, perfect for a boozy barbecue lunch of which we had many!
Fantastic accommodation in lovely location
This is a beautiful property, well maintained and equipped. There were ten of us in our party, six adults and four children. We all had en-suite rooms, which were comfortably furnished. The reception rooms are large and comfortable, and being that there were so many of us we never felt on top of one another. The large kitchen/diner is excellently equipped, and there is an outside BBQ and eating area which was clean and well maintained. There is plenty of comfortable seating for lounging around the pool, which is of a good size and well maintained. The property is on the waterfront with wonderful views across the bay and out to sea. The supermarket is about a six minute walk away along with restaurants. We hired a car, which I think is a necessity here, so we could go further afield, to the beach and other resorts and restaurants.
We had a fantastic week here. The owner has thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and I would highly recommend it.
Coast/Beach: Allegedly Menorca has more beaches than Majorca and Ibiza combined! There are local beaches within 5 mins drive from the villa. The safe, sandy and family-friendly beach of Arenal D'en Castell has plenty of family amenities. Na Macaret is smaller and lovely. Then Son Parc beach is c. 15 mins away. Travel: You can fly from 18 UK airports to Mahon. Mahon Airport is c. 20 minute drive. Car hire is essential to explore this island. Flights from the UK: Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Cardiff, Doncaster, Glasgow, Gatwick, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Luton, London City, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds Bradford, Newcastle, Southampton, Stansted. Distances: Mahon the capital is a 15-20 min drive away. Ciutadella about 30-40 minutes. Fornells fishing village, famous for good restaurants, is 15 mins drive. Further Details: You can walk to a range of local shops, bars and restaurants. There is also the Port Bar just the other side of the marina. Close enough to walk to in minutes and far enough not to be noisy. There are also some fabulous restaurants on the islands - full listing available in the villa manual on arrival. Historic Mahon - the capital is a 15-20 min drive away and well worth a thorough explore. Great little shops and fabulous food/fish markets, endless cafes and restaurants, sweeping stairways to more splendid views over the port. There is some beautiful countryside and wildlife on Menorca making it popular with walkers and bird watchers. Es Grau and the stunning Albufera Natural Reserve is about 15 minutes away. Menorca itself is a walker's heaven and the magnificent Cami de Cavalls can be reached in c. 7 minutes walk up the hill behind the villa. I challenge visitors to take the 18km walk to Es Grau - absolutely stunning - but perhaps best avoided in the heat of July and August! Fishing and game fishing is also available in Mahon. Kayaks can be hired in the Marina in front of the villa to explore the Cala. There are several scuba diving centres on the island which run daily trips to some of the best dive sites in the Med. I also recommend the Jeep Safari - great way to see hidden parts of the island and enjoy a really exciting off-road experience. 100% positive feedback from 2009-2012 visitors (English, French, Swiss, Norwegian, American) "the photos don't do it justice" . . . "we felt we had the best spot on Menorca" . . . "will definitely be back - thank you". And honestly, many of our guests simply don't move far from the villa "this is the best place just to sit and watch the world go back"
