This detached, modern two bedroom, two bathroom, single-storey villa has a private pool and views of sea and hills. This is our family home and so is homely and fully equipped. Modern kitchen, separate lounge and dining area. Five minute walk from a sandy beach and taverna, the villa is in a small peaceful development on the edge of Argaka, along the coast from the town of Polis with its many shops and restaurants located around a lively square. The villa is an excellent base for walking in the forests, viewing the wildlife in the Argaka hills, swimming in the sea or pool, or just relaxing & enjoying the sunsets in the peaceful private Mediterranean garden with citrus, avocado and olive trees. The villa is newly furnished with good quality oak furniture, leather sofas and comfortable beds. Stunning sunsets over the sea can be enjoyed from the veranda with its Syrian stone balustrade. The rear terrace with its citrus trees is ideal for al-fresco breakfasts. Wifi internet. Air conditioning.

Notes on accommodation: Included in rental is use of air-conditioning/heating units in the lounge/diner and bedrooms. Price includes weekly linen change. No smoking. No pets. Internet. Beach bar and taverna 400 metres. Fly screens on all windows and patio doors. Solar and immersion heating for water. Outside: There is a private swimming pool measuring 8 by 4 metres, which has been recently relined together with an outside shower. It is 1.5 metres deep throughout, and has a pool ladder at one end. Our swimming pool maintenance team will make a visit to the villa at least once a week. The Mediterranean garden is peaceful and private with citrus, avocado and olive trees. Sun loungers, tables, chairs and sun umbrellas are provided. The stunning sunsets over the sea can be appreciated from the veranda with its beautifully carved Syrian stone balustrade. The rear terrace with its citrus trees is perfect for al- freso breakfasts. In the evening, there is garden and pool lighting for sitting out to enjoy sunsets and starry nights. There is off-road parking for two cars. Large wood store with supply of logs for wood burner. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Egyptian Cotton bedlinen is provided along with bathroom towels but please bring pool and beach towels. Linen changed weekly (included in price). Other: There is a rear lobby leading to the bedrooms and separated by an arched door from the lounge.

Lovely home in a quiet village

We were taken aback when we arrived in this villa. So much thought put into making your stay as comfortable as possible. A lovely development, beautiful gardens, great size pool and the villa was very well furnished. Argaka was perfect for us: away from the madding crowds, yet with lovely restaurants and supermarkets nearby. Our only suggestion would be to remove the lamp from the fan ceiling in the main bedroom as its stays on if running on high speed.

We would definetly go back again!

Beautiful, Quiet Coastal Getaway

This isn't a holiday party place, which is just what we wanted. For our first visit to Cyprus this villa was the perfect home base. Close to beautiful seaside restaurants and clubs but not too close. If we were to buy a vacation home in Cyprus it would be just like this and in a neighborhood like this. Modern, spacious and well maintained..

Special interest holidays:

Behind the villa are the foothills of the Troodos mountains which provide excellent countryside for walking, biking, horse riding and birding. The nearby Akamas Peninsula is also good for nature trails including the turtles at Lara Bay. Diving, boat trips and water sports are available at Latchi, 6 miles away.


It is a 400 metre walk to the local sandy beach where there are sun loungers for hire and a beach bar selling drinks and excellent food. Opposite the bar is a fish taverna. Next to Polis is Latchi, which is the local centre for boat-trips up to Aphrodite’s Baths and the Akamas Peninsula, and water sports such as parascending, diving, banana boat-rides, and boat hire. In the other direction, up the coast, is Pomos, a pretty fishing harbour with a beach, tavernas and excellent views of the hills.


The nearest airport is at Paphos, 25 miles drive away. Car is essential (try Economy Car Rentals, Europcar, Astra or Sixt).


Local supermarkets are available in most villages, and there is a large, modern supermarket in Polis. Polis is about 4 miles. Latchi is about 6 miles. Pomos is about 12 miles. Paphos 25 miles.

Situated a five minute walk from a sandy beach and taverna, the villa is on the edge of Argaka, a small rural village four miles along the coast from the town of Polis. Polis is a centre for many activities such as hiking, cycling and horse-riding. Polis square has many restaurants and the surrounding roads have plenty of gift, souvenir and clothes shops. Latchi is a picturesque fishing port and marina reputed for its fish tavernas, sea sports facilities and boat trips. The villa is an excellent base for walking in the forests, viewing the wildlife such as the mouflon goats that live in the Argaka hills. The Paphos Hills rise immediately behind the villa. Banks can be found in Polis, Argaka and Latchi, most with ATMs. Villa is a comfortable distance to the neighbouring villa and is not overlooked. Very peaceful, rural location.

1. Payment of a booking deposit of 30% to be paid via bank transfer or cheque. An invoice will be sent as formal acceptance of the booking. 2. Full payment is due 8 weeks before rental starts, payable via bank transfer or by cheque, with a refundable security deposit of £250 sterling against breakages, loss or damage, any additional cleaning to the villa, its pool, garden, contents and equipment. Basic Greek spoken, plus French and German. Rates for longer stays in winter available on request.

Changeover Day:
Arrival after 4pm, departure before 10am, although we can be flexible on departure time if no other guests are due into the villa the same day.
Changeover day can be any day of the week.

Prices for the property are in pounds sterling.Euros also available if preferred. Exchange rate available on request. Prices include air-conditioning/heating/welcome pack/weekly laundry change/internet. For bookings of 4 nights or fewer, a surcharge may apply to cover the extra cleaning and laundry costs.
