About Catalina Castro Savoie
My husband and I are publicists and we had an advertising agency with 14 employees. 5 years ago we sold the agency and we come to live in Lanzarote. We are in love with this island and we are charmed with our decision. We have some holiday properties of which we deal personally since we think that the contact with the customer is essential in order that our properties fulfill the most demanding expectations. We hope that our clients bring with them unforgettable memories of your stay and wish to return someday.
Please consider the following guidelines when booking this property:
100% refund if canceled at least 60 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
We had a lovely family relaxing holiday in December - our second stay at this villa - its so peaceful at this end of the island but still close to supermarkets and restaurants - also near to Orzola from where we took the ferry to La Graciola for a day on the beautiful beaches there - we will definitely return for some biking around the trails on that island next year.We prefer self-catering and the kitchen and barbecue were all fine even if it was little too cold to eat outside in the evening- however we had breakfast on the veranda every day watching the sun rise - the veranda faces due east. There is car parking on the front of the villa-a hire car is essential to make the most of your stay and we hired a SEAT Estate for 150 Euros approx and put 20 Euros of fuel in for the week.We did try to find a retail outlet for fresh fish and seafood for a barbecue but such places are rare on the island so had to settle for frozen - evidently there is somewhere in arecife and haria that sells fresh fish but is probably seasonal ie summer tourist time. All in all a wonderful stay to recharge the batteries before christmas and get some welcome sunshine and warmth.
Thank you very much John.
We wish you a Merry Xmas. and we hope to see you soon again "on board".
Kind regards from Lanzarote.

Freezing Pool!!! 😨
Before booking this Villa I made sure it met all our requirements one major requirement was a heated pool. Sadly when we arrived and tried out the pool it was freezing! Contacted the owner Pepe and he did come and see it, he did have some workmen come over to try and fix it. Unfortunately they couldn’t fix it, it was ok on the last day of our holiday. Was very annoying as the price we paid for the villa did include the heating of the pool! The view is spectacular. The showers in the villa are terrible hardly any pressure what so ever! We thought this would be a relaxing holiday, however the road in front of the villa is busy with cars and people who stare right into the villa ( even taking pictures). This made us feel very uncomfortable. Punta Mujeres is a lovely little village unfortunately the only decent restaurant Palenke’s was closed for refurbishement whilst we were there. Sadly we won’t be back. Ps change the hairdryer it was useless, as was the Wifi. Sorry to give a not so great review but it is however an honest one.
We are sorry very much about the problem of the swimming pool that, since you know, try from a beginning to solve.
Now Sir,...the rest quite badly?

Clean and well equipped
Beautiful location right on the sea. Quiet, well equipped villa. Heated, clean good sized pool. Extremely helpful and kind owners. Highly recommended!
Wonderful villa with everything provided. It was really clean and well kept. The owner's were available if you needed anything but we only saw them on arrival. The location is great, right beside the sea; so fantastic sea views from the rear of the property which includes the pool area. The village where the villa is located was lovely. Authentic Spanish fishing village with very few tourists but plenty of welcoming locals. There are small supermarkets to pick up essentials in and a few local restaurants which were good. There are amazing sea pools throughout the village for swimming. These are very popular with the locals. Approx 5 mins away by car is a nice sandy beach. We would definitely recommend a stay at Villa Rocamar!
October 2016 - blissful outstanding stay!
Fantastic, brilliant, perfect...exactly what we had wished for and more - thank you!
Thank you very much!
We hope to see you soon again "on board"
Best regards from Lanzarote.
