Detached, recently refurbished 3 bedroom villa set in the heart of the Golden Triangle and close to Almancil. It is set within a half acre plot and has a large private, secure lawned garden surrounded by trees and countryside and accessed via private electronic gates. The villa, garden and large private pool have all been completely refurbished , providing a welcoming comfortable home for all the family. The beach and golf courses are all within a 15 min drive, with Faro airport easily reached within 20 mins. The villa is located close to an abundance of restaurants, with water parks, tennis, horse riding etc close by. It has everything the discerning holidaymaker needs to enjoy a wonderful holiday in the sun.

Notes on accommodation: Our villa manager is based nearby to help deal with any problems and ensure your stay goes as smoothly as possible. All rooms are fully air conditioned. For the cooler months there is a log fire in the living room and heat is supplied through the air conditioning units. Children under two are easily accommodated as the bedrooms are big enough to accommodate a cot. Cots and high chairs are provided free of charge. Outside: There is a large covered terrace overlooking the pool and garden. It is accessible from the living area and easily accommodates a large dining table and 8 chairs at one end, and two couches and table at the other .It is where most of the entertaining is done. The built-in BBQ is located beside the terrace. The gardens are mostly laid to grass at the back, with a 10x6 pool at its centre. There are six sun loungers provided and two umbrellas to provide shade when sunbathing. The villa is approached by electronic gates, ensuring privacy, and has a large cacacia with space for a number of cars whilst still having enough space to play football! Utility Room: Washing machine, tumble dryer, iron / ironing board and clothes horse. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linens provided, including Beach towels. Maid service once per week, when towels and linens are changed. Other: Beautiful shaded terrace overlooking pool and garden. Completely private, not overlooked. Brand new furnishing including table & chairs to seat 8 people.

Traditional Portugal Villa with Lovely Pool

We stayed at this villa at beginning of August 2016. It is an authentic traditional villa that has been modernised but still has kept it's character. The pool was large and ideal for our family with two children aged 8 and 11. You need a car to get around. It is close to the airport and all facilities. The beaches are all 10/15 minutes away. Supermarkets are in Almancil. There is a small Aldi for basic food and there is also a large Lidl in Loule where you can get all your food at reasonable prices and not too far away. In Loule there is also a market and fresh fish. The property was well maintained, and cleaned throughout our stay. They also have a barbecue if you do not want to go out. Films, books and videos are all provided at the villa. The children also did horseriding nearby. There are plenty of places to choose to eat out. Our favourite was a Tapas & Vino restaurant on the way to the beaches. I thoroughly recommend this villa and will most certaintly go again.

Comfort and privacy

We fell in love with this property as it had so much character and was very private yet was very near a large supermarket and various very good restaurants . A car is necessary but driving proved quite easy and everywhere is well signposted. The villa gave us all we needed - a fantastic pool (this is not fenced but we had a three year old with us and it wasn't a problem), welcome shaded area outside the lounge (overlooking the rear garden and pool), very comfortable seating areas, more TV channels than we have ever had in a rented property, a very large master bedroom with huge bed and an en-suite with one of the best walk-in showers we have ever used (powerful and hot!). Being so near to the airport was a bonus (no overhead noise) as the holiday starts almost as soon as you land and it is easy travelling distance to other resorts. We loved it so much we have already booked for next year - and we've never done that before! Would definitely recommend this property.

Within a 15 minute drive are many of the beautiful beaches for which the Algarve is renowned, including Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Vilamoura with its famous marina. Also located close by is the famous 'Ria Formosa' salt water nature reserve which teams with fascinating wildlife.


Faro airport, which is relatively small and easily manoeuvred, is 20 minutes away by car. Car hire is recommended and can be arranged very easily at the airport. Taxis are easily available and are reasonably priced.


Almancil is the closest village and is a 5 minute drive away. Loule ,the nearest large town is 15 mins by car and is worth a visit. It hosts a gypsy market every Saturday morning and is a typical Algarvian town, with cobbled backstreets and good local prices. The villa is located within the Golden Triangle with Vale do Lobo, Quinta do Lago and Dunas Douradas within a 15 min drive. The new Algarve Shopping centre can be reached in 15 minutes and Zoo marine in 20 minutes.

Further Details:

Lively Almancil is only 5 mins away. It has everything, supermarkets, butchers, cafes, post office, pharmacies, banks with lots of ATMs and of course a huge variety of restaurants to suit every taste and pocket.

Within 2 mins of the villa is Karting Almancil which provides thrills for young and old, and one of the largest water parks in the Algarve is a 10 min drive. Also available within 10 mins drive are horse riding, tennis, mini golf and of course a variety of water sports. One of the finest restaurants in the Algarve, Pequeno Mundo, is a 5 minute walk from the property. Baby sitting can be organised locally through our villa management.

Booking Notes:
A 25% deposit is required within 5 days to confirm booking. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival and should include a refundable damage deposit of 275 euros which will be refunded 14 days after the end of the holiday period if there are no damages or breakages. Payment is by Bank Transfer, Paypal or Bank drafts only.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days should be Thursday or Saturday, but can be flexible out of peak periods. Villa available from 2pm on the arrival date and must be vacated by 10am on day of departure.

Late Arrivals

A key collection fee of Euro 30 is charged on key collection after 9pm . This is charged by my management company.

100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date.
