It consists of 2 comfortable bedrooms, a bathroom with a bath/shower, separate WC, open plan kitchen and living area with LCD TV and home entertainment system, terrace, parking space and ski locker. The living room focuses on a large patio door with fantastic views of the mountain and slopes. We can also recommend another property in our building for larger groups who wish to remain in close proximity to each other.

Hi, My wife and I are proud parents of two children and we love skiing/boarding and the great outdoors. We fell in love with L2A many years ago, before we were married and had children, and the place seems to have get better every year since. We had our first family holiday here at Xmas 2011 and it was magical. We hope that you enjoy your stay here as much as we do. Everything you need to enjoy a great holiday is on your doorstep and the views across the mountains from the comfort of our living room, at the end of a long hard day, are captivating and beautiful.

Since the Millennium L2A has undergone a major refurbishment replacing all of the 1960s architecture with wooden clad fascias, transforming the look of the place from purpose-built to a chocolate-box alpine resort. The scenery as you approach the resort is simply stunning, with the majestic back drop of the mountains, alpine trees and and views of the beautiful Lac Noir resevoir. Our home is situated off the main road after you enter the resort in a peaceful location hidden amongst a development of traditional chalet style apartments, with communal areas and private parking. Our ground floor apartment facing the back of the chalet benefits from a raised terrace that has private unrestricted views across the development, towards the main mountain slopes and L2A 1800.
What makes this Apartment unique
L2A is primarily located along one long high street from Mont De Lans to Venosc and everything branches off it, so you can walk into town in under 5 mins, to the main gondola in 10 mins and the length of town in 15 mins. Located 50m away from home is a supermarket that stocks all the groceries you will require for a holiday, thus negating the need to bring provisions with you from home. There a free service bus stop 100m from home which, subject to route, will take you anywhere around the town, which is particularly convenient if travelling with children. This bus drops you off on the doorstep of both the main gondola and the ski school meeting points and all the bars/restaurants along the way. L2A could not be any easier to get around. We love it and we hope you do too.

We booked the apartment for our first ever skiing trip. The owner ric could not of been more helpful. He gave us advise on ski schools and ski rental as we were total novices. Arriving at the apartment Our first impression was how clean and modern the furnishings were. It had everything we could possibly need. Home from home. We had a fantastic stay in a ideal location with beautiful views. Will definitely return. The Arnold family

Beautiful apartment in a great location with a very homely feel. Owners were very helpful in every aspect.
Little but very homy
We stayed in property for one week and had great time.
Apartment is little with small bedrooms, but you won't need more. Very cozy and you feel like at home. You will have all what you need and more.
Apartment is warm with good noise isolation, wooden windows. It is with walking distance to everything and if you feel lazy you have free bus in town, which is great!
Overall it is good location, mountain views, all what you need.

Perfect place to stay In les Deux Alps
After spending a while looking around I found this property, which seemed to be a league above the rest I was looking at and I can't say I was disappointed. The apartment is furinished and equipped to a high standard and was clean upon arrival. The landloards were very plesant and helpful regarding any queries I had before and during the stay and we had no problems at check out. Parking was not an issue at all and the apartment was within walking distance to the main part of the village. Would defiantly stay there again!!

I stayed here with my husband and 3 children (17,15 & 12) for a week's skiing and can't speak highly enough of the apartment - having stayed in many self catering apartments this is the first time I've felt I have to leave a review!
The apartment is spacious with a lovely view and benefits from being on the ground floor. It has excellent facilities, is decorated to a very high standard & is very well equipped particularly the kitchen. Mention must also be made of the beds - very comfortable with good quality bedding. There is parking available right outside the apartment and the ski locker in the basement with access to the path leading to the ski slope is a bonus.Very good location in relation to the rest of the town, the bus stop for the free shuttle buses and a very short walk to a run that takes you to the Petit Aiguille lift from where you can easily ski to the majority of the lifts. The lift system was excellent and quickly took you to the mid station and beyond where the skiing was excellent. As it was late in the season it wasn't possible to ski back to the resort apart from the black run which was also closed by the end of the week but a blue run is being built for next season which will be a bonus. Contact with the owner beforehand was excellent and he provided a wealth of useful information as did the agent who met us promptly at the start and end of our stay - best directions I've ever had!
I'd recommend ski/boot hire from La Datcha - only a short walk from the apartment & very reasonable compared with the 'chain' shops.
Food shopping - great bakery nearby and Casino minimarket although U supermarket in the village centre is cheaper.
Smokey Joe's bar in the main square was great early evening & had live music & we had a lovely meal one night in Le Grange in the main square with a range of French dishes as well as pizza/pasta - although the portions are huge.
The mountain restaurants were better than many we've encountered elsewhere and relatively(!!) inexpensive. Good variety of skiing - make sure you take the funicular to the glacier and play in the ski park! Ski pass covers a day in Alpe D'Huez plus a daily visit to the swimming pool/ice rink although we didn't try these options.
We drove from Calais with no problems and it's only a short drive from the end of the motorway network at Grenoble.
Special interest holidays:
L2A is perfect for those who want an energetic or a relaxing holiday. Amongst the extreme sports are Downhill Mountain Biking, Paracending, Bungee Jumping, White Water Rafting and Canyoning. An Adventure Park is located in Vensoc for those who enjoy zip wire slides through the trees and associated pursuits, which caters for both children and adults. A Black, Red, Blue and Green difficulty colour scheme is applied, to match the ski slopes. You can also fish in a large lake up the mountain at approximately 2000m, or in the valley rivers down from the resort.
A residential lake resides in this Petit Plan area of town, with amazing views across the valley towards Mont de Lans and further afield to Alpe d'Huez. It is free to use and is surrounded by a beach and acres of grassed areas, so is perfect for children and adults alike. There is a small park for the children as well. The water is apprixmately 5ft deep in the centre and 68 degrees C during the Summer and perfect for swimming and bathing.
Transfer times by car are; Geneva 2.5 hours, Lyon 2 hours and Grenoble 1.5 hours. Car hire / bus transfers are available to book in advance from all airports.
The pretty village of Venosc is accessible via gondola from the far end of the resort. Grenoble is a lovely historic town about an hours drive away. Alpe d'Huez is a short drive and is included in your ski pass should you so desire.
There are plenty of alternative activities available in the resort for all ages. It caters well for children and adults alike with a local creche, massage and treatments, rock-climbing, heated outdoor pool, ice rink, helicopter trips, night skiing, cycling. Winter and Summer alike, there is no shortage of things to do.
We employ an English speaking company in the the resort who can arrange ski passes, reservations, trips, anything that you require and is on hand to offer any help and advice you need during your holiday.
