Pella was the first house we renovated and still retains all of the charm. The stone walls in parts of the house are about three feet thick. The large high beamed sitting room has an open fire, two sofas, slate hearth, satellite TV, Stereo, DVD, WI FI. At one end of the room is a well fitted kitchen with electric cooker and oven, large fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, washer/drier and a large pine table with 6 chairs. Above the kitchen area is an open gallery with a spring loaded gate, reached by a sliding stair ladder. the gallery has 2 narrow mattresses under the eaves. The property has 2 bedrooms. One of the 2 bedrooms is a double with an en-suite which has a Victorian roll top bath. The other bedroom has twin beds and its own shower room. The house has stripped pine floors throughout with loose rugs. Oil fired central heating, decorated in light Farrow and Ball colours. A large terrace overlooking the south facing gardens that lead on to fields orchard and down to a stream.
Nestled in 12 acres of land this medieval farming hamlet of 3 ancient farm buildings, now renovated to a high standard with a mixture of antique and contemporary furniture, the houses offer great holidays for those looking for the perfect peaceful retreat to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Children love the 12 acres of land with fields woods orchard and a stream, they build dens, play hide and seek in the woods and come home with rosy cheeks and hearty appetites. Surrounded by fields full of lambs, woods filled with bluebells where you can take a picnic and sit under the tress listening to bird and the wind sing their songs. In summer the fields are full of hay bales and the hedgerows full of blackberries. In Autumn watch the leaves turn golden, brown and red with berries that you can lay your Halloween Pumpkin on. After a brazing winter walk on the cliffs come back to a log fire and all the home comforts. Enjoy the natural beauty of Cornwall with all the luxury.
