As far as locations go, Compass Bay is hard to beat – it is the perfect choice for a vacation. What’s more the popular tourist corridor, the US 192 with its superb choice of restaurants, shops and supermarkets is just a stone’s throw away with the main attractions and theme parks only minutes away. Taking centre stage within the well maintained gardens is the shared heated swimming pool with cabana. There is a gazebo, 2 children’s playgrounds, barbecue areas, lake and walking trails. It’s the perfect home away from home.

We bought the house for its location and the fact that it is a small select community. Its location is second to none with access to all the restaurants and shops on the US192. Wallmart is just 2 minutes away and of course it is only a short distance from the Parks. Although its location is central it is a tranquil setting with well kept grounds. The house build is to a high standard and is tastefully furnished to a high standard by an interior designer.
This was our first stay at Ian & Pauline’s town home, though not our first stay in Compass Bay… so we were very familiar with the area. Having stayed in this gated community prior, we would have to say you cannot get a more perfect location for everything you would wish to do in Florida!!! Close to restaurants and supermarkets on 192. The Theme Parks are on your door step, and easy access to all the major routes – for visiting East & West Coasts.
The Town home has everything you would want in a ‘home from home’. Very comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The gated community is very quiet, and the home is perfect for relaxing after a hectic day at parks, or shopping.
All the mod-cons you would expect – large washing / drying machines - big side-by-side fridge. We were very happy with this town home, and we would hope to stay here in future - Lesley
We had a lovely time, the house was perfect for our needs, a lovely quiet refuge after hectic days at the park. We loved the huge fridge and amazing American washing machine and dryer! We got good use from the pool, which was lovely and warm and so close to the house which we felt was a particular advantage of your house. This wonderful home from home was just how it is described on the website. From the moment we walked through the front door, we felt at home. It was spotlessly clean and even the dining table was set for us. Everything worked well in the house, and the laundry area was handy for us to wash and dry our clothes for our long stay.
The pool was beautiful. It was such a size you could really do some serious swimming if you felt inclined. The water was nicely heated too that you felt you were swimming in a tropical lagoon.
We were kept fully up to date by the owners, and, though we fortunately did not need any assistance, it was reassuring to know that a local agent was at hand in case of any problems we might have had.
We are already working out when we can visit central Florida again. When we do, this place will be our first choice.
We spent most of our days in Walt Disney World, which was an easy 10-15 minute drive on state roads.
The abundance of restaurants and diners along the nearby US-192 and a little further north along SR-535 at Lake Buena Vista gave a marvelous, varied choice when dining out. We particularly liked Olive Garden restaurant at the corner of SR-535 and Palm Parkway, though there is another one nearer to home on US-192.
Dining at home was nice. The kitchen was well equipped and the proximity of supermarkets Walmart, Publix and Target provided us with whatever we might need.
Had no hesitation in staying at the Brown's property in Compass Bay for the second successive year for 10 days. Renting the house is so much more economical, quiet and comfortable than a small hotel room on I-Drive and on arrival this year it felt like we had never been away! Very clean, comfortable and appointed in a secure and very quiet gated village - we had no complaints at all. Only a 15 min drive from Universal, Sea World and a great outlet complex as well as being handy for driving longer distances in all directions. We have found the Brown's prompt, courteous and a pleasure to do business with and would have no hesitation in recommending them to friends and colleagues. Too early to say what our plans are for 2017 but if we decide to do Orlando again, we know where we will be staying!
I stayed here end of May into June, the house is a very good size, perfect for our group of 6 adults.
Three good size bedrooms, with three excellent bathrooms meant it was easy for us all to get ready for our days/nights out.
Full size kitchen, meant that days we wanted to eat in were easily managed.
Internet and cable TV worked a treat.
Compass Bay is in a perfect location, although I would recommend a car for ease of getting around. We also used Ubers some evenings too.
It's so easy to get to Disney from here, and Universal is just a 20 minute drive away from Compass Bay. We also took a trip over to Kennedy Space Centre with no problems at all.
Booking the house was straight forward from the UK, I booked it through Owners Direct, and Pauline was very helpful and quick at replying to emails.
For me this house represents great value for money! Way better than staying in a small hotel room!
The shared pool area was lovely, and just outside this properties back door, the water was clean and warm!
We will definitely book here again if we are ever headed out to Orlando.

It was nice to stay in a house where everything is clean and in working order which is not always the case with rental homes in Orlando. Well done and keep up the good work.
This townhome is kept immaculately clean. The kitchen was well stocked. Furnishings were comfortable and uncluttered, making it easy to keep track of our stuff and making the place feel restful after a busy theme park filled day.
Owner also has thought of a number of simple touches that add so much convenience, like key hooks for car keys, coat hooks just inside the front door, and sufficient drawers and blankets in every bedroom. Even better, the townhome has a code lock system, which eliminates all the usual travel worry about losing or forgetting keys.
Pool is about 50 feet away and the complex grounds are lovely and big enough to enjoy some long walks. Location is very convenient to restaurants, shopping, and theme parks.
In short, we were very pleased with our stay.
Holiday home is certainly the right phrase, as this great villa really felt like home from home, we found it very comfortable and quite roomy.
It is also situated in a pleasant quiet gated complex which is very central for getting around, There are several theme parks close by and it is only an hours ride to either the Atlantic or the Gulf coast.Couldn't wish for anything better and will certainly consider using it again in the future.
Being close to the region’s major highways (3 minutes from Interstate 4) the coastal areas are easily accessible.
St Pete's and Clearwater (Gulf Coast) offer superb white sandy beaches and calm seas.
Cocoa Beach (Atlantic Coast) offers great Atlantic waves.
Both have many bars and restaurants.
We would recommend car hire for your stay.

Compass Bay is perfectly located for the many varied and interesting eating establishments along the length of the US 192. It’s within easy reach of premium shopping outlets, shops and supermarkets. A Colonial Bank and 7-Eleven are located on the corner of Poinciana Blv and only 3 minutes walk from the townhouse.

Securing our home only requires a nominal deposit (£100) with the balance not being due until 6 weeks before departure, if this is less than 6 weeks full payment is required at booking. A security bond (£150) is required and this will be returned usually within 7 days of departure, on receipt of non-damage/loss report. Credit card payments are accepted via agent in USA (Charges apply).
Changeover day is flexible, arrival/departure can be on any day of the week, and stays can be of any duration. In general the house is available from 4pm on day of arrival and guests are asked to vacate the property by 11am on day of departure.

Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. We charge for cleans on short term lets less than 6 nights. Minimum Let is 5 nights.
