Villa Bastiola is a traditional Umbrian stone farmhouse over 200 years old, situated on the hillside at Comunaglia in Umbria, on the border with Tuscany, with stunning views over the surrounding hills and valleys.

The villa is divided into two lovely self catering apartments which can be rented independently or by larger groups as a private villa rental.
The first floor of the villa has been beautifully restored providing luxury self catering accommodation for 2 or 4 guests. There are 2 en suite double bedrooms, a large living room & fully fitted kitchen with dining table & chairs.
On the upper floor, this lovely self catering apartment for 2 - 4 guests has 2 double bedrooms, a family bathroom with walk-in shower, large living room with dining table and chairs, fully fitted kitchen and kitchen terrace with bistro table & chairs.
There is a laundry room on the ground floor with washing machine, detergents, clothes dryer and pegs.
Measuring 10m x 5m, the pool is cleaned with a mineral salt purifying system and offers the perfect solution for guests to enjoy the pool without the drying effects of chlorine. The pool measures 1.20m deep throughout and there are steps to help get in and out of the pool.
Pool towels are provided and there are 8 sun loungers around the poolside as well as table and chairs – enough space for everyone to relax and enjoy the view and soak up the Umbrian sun!
There is a mini-bar fridge in the under-pool area on the right hand side saving a trip back to the villa for the all important prosecco, beer, water & soft drinks!
There is a small loggia by the entrance to Apartment Ulivo, a front courtyard, gazebo at the back of the villa with table and chairs for dining alfresco, sun terrace with rattan sofa, chairs & coffee table and gardens with olive grove. New last year, a huge stone BBQ was put in next to the sun terrace, perfect for cooking for lots of guests! Stunning views from the sun terrace in the garden, perfect for relaxing at the end of a days' sightseeing.
The villa has retained many of the original features including ancient chestnut and oak beams, terracotta flooring over two hundred years old, and a pietra serena fireplace and wardrobe.
A great base for those seeking to experience the rich culture, regional cuisine, vineyards, medieval hilltop towns and countryside that this stunning region of Italy has to offer. Assisi, Gubbio, Cortona, Perugia are all close by.
