First floor - no need for a car. All the walks you could want and restaurants, pubs, museums, shops and markets are on the doorstep. The kitchenette has fridge/freezer, dishwasher, two ring electric hob and microwave but has all you need for your stay.

Flat screen TV and DVD player in lounge with sofa and two chairs to relax and enjoy the ever changing views. Flexible booking dates can be arranged.

We visited family here for many years, the air was so clean the views so amazing and the choice of walks from strolling to serious is unbeatable.

What makes this apartment unique

Quiet, stunning views over the Southern Fells from a glimpse of Lake Windermere to the South, the full majesty of the Coniston Range, Coniston Old Man and Wetherlam, Loughrigg Fell and the Fairfield Horseshoe.

Many walks start straight from the front door.

Village Centre only two minutes walk away however for food and sustenance, shopping and multi screen cinema with occasional jazz bar and much more.

We are set up above the village of Ambleside so quiet with fantastic views from both our suites but two minutes walk to the village centre. not sensible for disabled guests we regret.

Please email us or phone and we can advise on bookings and email or fax you a booking from. We require a £100 deposit which we retain in respect of breakages or unreasonable cleaning and is returned to you following your stay. Full payment is required six weeks before your stay.

Owner's Cancellation Policy

  • 50% refund if canceled at least 7 days before arrival date.
  • 100% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
  • Service Fee fully refunded on cancellations that qualify for 100% refund.
