The property is a beautifully restored farmhouse with all modern amenities. It has magnificent views down the valley, which can be fully appreciated from the private pool and terrace. Perfect for total relaxation, whilst still within easy reach of many historic towns, only 1 hr 30 mins drive from the Adriatic coast. Whilst the villa can accommodate up to 8 guests it is equally cosy for smaller groups or a single family. You can watch gorgeous sunsets and see the stars appear from the dining terrace or floating in the pool. With no ambient light you will be able to see why its called the Milky Way. There are sun loungers and pool towels for everyone and the sun is on the pool all day. There are many beautiful and historic places to see including Assisi, Perugia, Gubbio, Anghiari and Florence is easily reached by train from Arezzo. For those ladies who like to shop then Sansepulcro has some lovely clothes shops, at least so my wife tells me! Don't forget Italian shopping hours, either go in the morning or after 4pm. Our local restaurant is the Pergola and it's very good and reasonably priced. Its a 10 to 15 minute drive and is on the old road to Pieve. There are plenty of guide books and tourist information in the house left by previous guests to help you get the best out of your holiday. We have a house manager, Jane, who can be contacted by phone if you have any questions but she does like her Sundays off!

About Jacqui Morey
We restored our farmhouse in 2005, one look down the valley with views of Tuscan roofs and mountain scenery, we were captivated! We were particularly impressed with the location, peaceful, relaxing days around the private pool with easy access to the E.45 and the surrounding places of historic interest. The area is dotted with fabulous trattorias serving exquisite cuisine and undiscovered jewels, alongside the more renowned attractions of Florence and Rome. This is the real Italy, come and experience it for yourself!
Jacqui Morey purchased this Farmhouse in 2004
Why Jacqui Morey chose Pieve Santo Stefano
We bought the farmhouse for its easy access from the airports, its peaceful location, amazing views and the fact that, although in a less well-known part of Tuscany, is in our opinion, and those of our guests, an undiscovered jewel. Less crowded, less expensive, less is MORE!!! You will not be disappointed.
What makes this Farmhouse unique
It is our home which we rent out from May to October, and is looked after by a wonderful team led by Jane who will ensure you have a fabulous holiday. It is on the edge of one of the largest National Parks in Italy for those who enjoy walking and cycling, and for the shopping enthusiast check out the designer shops in Sansepolcro.

Away from it all!
We spent almost two weeks at this wonderful place. The house is great, very clean and beautifully decorated. We spent most of our days outside, there's a lovely pool and lots of chairs/loungers. The view, overlooking the Tuscan hills, is magnificent. The house is away from it all, which is what we really liked about it (you need a car!!). There are some lovely restaurants (very, very reasonable priced) in the area and great supermarkets about 20 minutes drive away. This is not a very touristic area, which can only be a positive thing in my opinion. The local people are incredibly nice and welcoming. We wish we could have stayed for another few weeks.
How wonderful to know you had such a memorable holiday! Thank you for taking the time to submit a review and share your views with others. It was a pleasure to have you and your family staying at Casa Dei Noce.
We, 6 adults and one baby stayed at this Casa for two weeks We had the worst weather we have ever had in 30 years of travelling to Italy
The house is very nice but very dark, even in sunshine and the outside area has a lovely pool and lots of outside seating
The kitchen is fairly well equipped but much too small for 6 people trying to make tea and coffee, etc
As the one supermarket in the area is 30 mins there and 30 mins back a much bigger freezer would be better
I would just like to say two things
The advert for this house should make clear that as well as a drive up a mountain road there is also another "white road" which almost removed the bottom of our respective cars
Secondly, I would not recommend having a meal provided as euros 15 per person, for a cold buffet is more expensive than the local restaurant
All in all it was not the right area of Tuscany for us but we made the most of it Sorry
Thank you for your review. The summer of 2014 was, unfortunately, one of the wettest on record in Italy. As you can see from previous reviews it is usually hot and sunny. Our beautiful farmhouse, in a conservation area, was restored to traditional Tuscan standards which means very thick walls and smaller windows to keep the house cool in the summer and warm in the winter. The kitchen has been happily used by all our guests over the last 7 years, most of which have consisted of groups of 8. We decided on a large fridge and smaller freezer because guests enjoy cooking fresh, local produce rather than frozen. As stated in a previous review Pieve Santo Stefano is 20 mins away, having driven this hundreds of times we can verify this is the max. The road to the house is a good quality 'white' road and has been driven up and down hundreds of times by guests with nobody else having the slightest problem. I personally have driven it hundreds of times in all weathers and in a sports car. The option to have a meal is a private treaty between yourself and the girls in the hamlet, with our house manager acting as translator. This is not to do with us and must be agreed between you and the team.
Relaxing, comfortable house
Stayed here with my young family and my parents. We had a fabulous time from my 2 year old daughter to my 70 year old father. The house was lovely and clean. The pool was excellent; providing us with a much needed place to cool down.
The views from the terrace were fantastic; Each evening's sunset surpassing the previous!
We used the house as a base to discover lots of beautiful old towns. Would recommend a visit to Anghiari and a trip to the shops in Sansepolcro.
A fabulous holiday had by all. I would thoroughly recommend!
It is fantastic to know you loved both the house and the beautiful area. Anghiari is our favourite, an undiscovered jewel! We have an album full of amazing sunsets and countless shots of the fabulous Tuscan views. The house is a great base for visiting many wonderful places of interest, along with providing peaceful, relaxing days around the private pool and terrace. Thank you for recommending Casa Dei Noce, we are delighted you had a holiday to remember!
What an amazing place
We were 2 families of 4 with smallish children. The house was perfect for us - one family took the rooms in the top floor, and one took the rooms in the ground floor. We loved the fact that the kitchen opened straight out on to the outdoor seating/dining area, and that we could keep an eye on the kids from the that area when they were swimming in the pool. It was average 35 degrees, and the kids lived in the pool. The view and surroundings are amazing with daily sunsets over the Tuscan hills. We also loved the calmness as there are very few houses around. The house is really nicely decorated and kitted out which gave it a lovely relaxed feel. We would have loved to have stayed longer.
Thank you for taking the time and trouble to post a review. We are thrilled and delighted that you had a wonderful holiday and enjoyed the area as much as we do. It is lovely to know that all that Casa Dei Noce has to offer is appreciated.
