This substantial property is set in its own grounds on the Penina Golf resort. All rooms are spacious, with high ceilings and are furnished to an extremely high standard throughout in fresh bright colours. There is air-conditioning. The nearby Meridian hotel offers golf and tennis facilities. The ground floor consists of entrance hall, guest cloak room, delightful dining room, large white kitchen. comfortable lounge (Satellite TV/DVD/video) and french doors open onto the terrace and pool. There are 3 bedrooms on the ground floor, each en-suite; 1 double; 1 twin singles and 1 twin queen size beds. Upstairs there is a master suite with double bed and large en-suite and balcony overlooking the golf course as well as a twin bedroom with en-suite shower room. At the rear, a pool terrace includes a gas BBQ and table tennis table. It is possible to make the pool safe for children with a fencing system.

About Rosemary Reynolds Villa Management

Hello, my name is Jeremy and I live in Wapping. I have owned Casa Charador for about 10 years having been entranced with The Algarve since childhood holidays.

Having contemplated buying a villa for several years, we rented Charador for two weeks for a last minute holiday and whilst there realised it was a great place for a holiday. The house is designed to allow people their own space and being on the golf course ensures a tranquil holiday.

To us it offers a good compromise of being close to places to shop, eat and see whilst retaining peace and privacy to relax.

If you do go, I hope you enjoy it as much as we have on family holidays during past summers.

I just wanted to let you know that we had a fabulous week celebrating my 60th Birthday. The villa was puré luxury we could not have asked for more. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Notes on accommodation: The villa has a Tourist Licence. There is air-conditioning throughout except in the bathrooms and kitchen. There is a pool fence available at an additional charge. Outside: The villa is encircled by a large attractive and mature garden. There is a spacious pool terrace well equpped with sun loungers. Colouful awnings extend from the villa giving shade over the outdoor dining facilities and a small comfortable sitting area. The swimming pool is 14x5m, with built-in steps at one end and interior pool lighting. It is treated with salt so suitable for those allergic to chlorine. It can be heated by a heat pump at extra cost in certain seasons.There is a bubble cover on a roller to help retain the warmth.Gas barbecue. There is an outdoor table tennis table. Bring your own bats. Utility Room: Off the kitchen there is an archway to the utility area. Here there is a washing machine, drier and ironing machine. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: There is a maid service 5 days a week. Bed linen, bathroom and pool towels are supplied. They are laundered once a week.

Casa Charador

The House was great for our group of 10. Pool and patio area were great too and we had it heated as we were there late in the season. Management company were very kind and helpful. Car absolutely necessary (for group of 10 - 2 or 3 cars) as there are no shops close by and no buses either. Single glazed windows so quite noisy early in the morning when they're mowing and strimming the golfcourse which is only a few meters away from the house. We found the 5 day a week maid a little too over-present in the morning when you want a casual breakfast, even though she was lovely, it was sometimes awkward - I would have preferred having the choice for her to come in the afternoons when we were either at the beach or sight seeing. Also, I didn't appreciate that for the price we paid that we were expected to supply bin bags and washing powder etc ( most of which ended up being was left behind when we left). Constructive criticism only - we all had a great time. Thank you Rosemary and Nicola!

The lovely soft sand beaches at Alvor are only 6km away in one direction, the beaches of Portimao at Praia da Rocha are a similar distance and the long Meia Praia beach of Lagos is only a little further in the other.


Faro Airport is approximately 45 minutes away, via the A22 motorway. Car hire is essential.


The villa is only 6km from Alvor with its beaches, shops and restaurants. Portimao and Lagos are also very close, offering beaches, supermarkets, restaurants and shops. Monchique and Silves are both about 45 minutes by car.

Changeover Day:
Changeover day is Saturday. Guests are asked to vacate by 10:00hrs in order for the maid to prepare for the next guests and not to arrive until 14:00hrs but luggage may be left at the villa earlier.
A damage deposit of £500 is required

The above prices are for 7-10 people for the property per week in UK pounds.
Please apply for lower rates for parties fewer people within the periods 19 Mar to 24 Jun and 27 Aug to 4 Nov 2016
Pool Heating is included from 19/3 - 24/6 and from 27/8 - 04/11/16. It is an extra £120 per week in the peak season 25/06-02/09/2016 . A preheat week is £100 at any season if the villa is not occupied before your holiday.
Air conditioning is included from 25/06-02/09/2016 but is an extra from 19/03 - 24/06 and from 03/09 - 04/11/2016
Pool protection fence is available at £55 per booking.

A booking deposit of 25% is payable and the balance 8 weeks before the start of your holiday.

Owner's Cancellation Policy
