We moved here from England in 2006 fully restoring our 17th century farmhouse, building a large pool & modern villa.
An orchard was planted to provide us with a large variety of fresh fruits. Almonds, citrus, cherries, figs, plums, pomegranates & prickly pears. Made into homemade preserves etc. The gardens are always being extended.
In 2013 an outdoor pizza oven.
We enjoy sharing our knowledge of this beautiful area with guests over an amazing breakfast or during a visit to one of the many year round festivals.
To help you enjoy your holiday to the full we are able to offer information on all kinds of activities. For a lot more information including our life in Puglia article and the story of our first Olive harvest and oil production in Italia Magazine. Visit our website with
D and E Manuel purchased this apartment in 2004
We came across this beautiful unspoilt area of Puglia while on holiday in November 2002. Returning at times throughout the year to explore fully. Finding that the Monopoli countryside had so much to offer.
The location was very important to us as we like a countryside setting, stunning views of the land and sea, beautiful local beaches and towns.
Here we have found all these things, lovely green countryside with anceint olive trees, beautiful gently sloping farm land with trees, wild flowers and wildlife all year round.
We are within easy reach of many local towns, several airports, excellent train services from Monopoli and above all an all year round destination with plenty to do.
Our property is convenient for touring the region of Puglia as we are situated between two airports near to the coast, within a few minutes drive of many varieties of beach and towns.
Guests enjoy moments around the pool and in our extensive gardens and many picnic areas away from the crowds. Our pool is 14x7mtrs ideal for swimming or playing. It is surounded by a sunbathing terrace with plenty of luxury sunbeds. A very large grass area with hammocks and swing. For babies we provide a small pool in the shade with toys.
Our accommodations are extremely well equiped a home from home with attention to every detail. We offer an extensive range of tourist information and are always available to offer help when needed.
This idyllic apartment-style boutique hotel type accommodation & pool in stunning countryside. The sight of the breakfast table took my breath away! I know I'm leaving a little bit of 'heaven' behind when I return home. Be back soon.
Enjoyed every minute of our stay here. So relaxing & beautiful scenery. We felt spoilt by our hosts. Look forward to the next time. Can't wait!
The place & property is absolutely fabulous we will definitely recommend you to our friends in the Netherlands!
The best equipped & comfortable self catering accommodation we have ever come across. Home from home.
Loved the pool, the hammock under the olive trees, the Pizza night, I enjoyed making my pizza & putting it in the pizza oven. Picking fresh figs & prickly pears. Tractor rides & walks on the farm.
Amazing firework displays.
From the moment we drove through the gates we knew we were in for a great stay-a tranquil & homely place to visit. Great location, lots of local knowledge & recommendations.
We stayed for one week in September as a family with a 9 month old baby. It was our first family holiday abroad and we were thoroughly spoiled! The owners were so helpful with all communications beforehand and made us feel totally at ease, they were also very understanding when we arrived pretty late at night from our evening flight and always made sure we had everything we needed - including a lovely box of toys for our little one! We stayed in the ground floor apartment, it was absolutely stunning! The kitchen has everything you need (we cooked in most nights with having a little one) and the living room/dining area was lovely and cool (it was a major heatwave when we were there). The bathroom was lovely, great shower and bath and the bedroom was very peaceful and comfortable.
The grounds were unbelievable, so picturesque and we enjoyed wandering around and exploring the landscape. The pool was amazing! We were incredibly lucky to have it to ourselves most days! We spent hours in and around the pool, playing on the swing and it was just a few quick steps back to the apartment when it got too hot, or dark!
The BBQ outside was great, we enjoyed using that a few times and a particular highlight was the fantastic mini shop that the owners offered, right next to the apartment! Filled with local produce and homemade goodies, we stocked up daily from there (especially the prosecco which was wonderful!)
One little thing to watch out for is the mosquitos, they dined out on us every night (take lots of repellant - or buy it from the little shop!) but that's to be expected that time of year and the owners helped us to deal with them as best we could!
They also supplied us with loads of helpful maps and details of places to visit, we had a car (essential) and hardly had to travel far at all for beautiful beaches and villages, with wonderful sights and of course... Food! Most places in the area didn't serve pizza at lunchtime (what?!) but a village just down the main road did, so we visited regularly! The ice-cream everywhere was amazing... Obviously, it's Italy!
Altogether an absolutely amazing stay, stunning property and wonderful hosts - thank you!
Stayed here for 2 weeks with my wife and 2 boys (8 & 6) in the self-catering apartment - had an absolutely fantastic time!
The owners were very helpful with suggestions for places to go and explore, a mine of information about local festivals and organised a very enjoyable pizza-making evening with the other guests (my boys loved this). Masseria and grounds are beautiful and it was hard sometimes to pull ourselves away from the pool.
Really enjoyed our stay in Puglia - superb food and wine, great restaurants, interesting places to visit with world-class ice cream and plenty of beaches. Definitely a bit cheaper than some other parts of Italy.
Very sad to leave, would love to come back - no hesitation in recommending Masseria Due Torri, it was a great base for our holiday.
We are a family of 4 with children aged 7 and 8 and in our opinion masseria due torre was perfect. Ideally located close to many attractions and amenities, although having a car would be a great advantage. The owners were the perfect hosts making sure we were comfortable and happy, you could see they took great pride in their wonderful property and business. Although the masseria was full it always felt very calm and tranquil, relaxing by the pool on one of their hammocks whilst the kids splashed around or perhaps taking a stroll on the grounds and picking a few prickly pears .... Perfect!
We enjoyed a wonderful relaxing holiday at Masseria Due Torri. The property is comfortable, has all the amenities expected and more. The pool is a good size and very well maintained. The grounds of the property are extensive and private.
Monopoli is a short 10 minute drive and other local towns and villages are easily accessible.
Douglas and Elizabeth could not have been more helpful and their pizza making evening was a great success with the children and grown-ups.
Highly recommended for a relaxing holiday, exploring Puglia and ice-cream at Café Roma.
