About the property

2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom (separate toilet)

Our new flat is 63 m² (684 Square Feet) with 2 bedrooms, bigger than most standard hotel rooms in the area.

The apartment building itself is about 12 years old and very secure complete with an intercom & video screen.

The holiday unit has been designed with many modern conveniences, but with a bit of Japanese taste.

We also provide free WIFI internet (very high-speed) connection inside the unit, a lot of kitchen items and detergents etc to make your stay very easy and comfortable.

There are 24 hour convenience stores, local shops and department stores as well as several international restaurants all within easy walking / cycling distance (2 bicycles are provided).

Subways and Japan Railways: There are about 10 subway stations and JR stations (all with multiple train lines) available within easy walking distance.

From here you can access any locations in Tokyo as well as anywhere in Japan.

Tokyo Disney Resort is also an easy train ride from the flat, which takes about 15min.

As it is located in the very centre of Tokyo, it is wonderful to return to the flat at the end of each day to relax and recharge for the next day's adventure!

A lot of our former guests enjoyed a day and come HOME,

refresh, then go out for a drink or a meal in the evening in Ginza.

It will be a perfect base for your holiday in Tokyo!

Since we live in the same area, we can assist you most of the time and also provide you with a lot of local information!

Why Joyce chose Japan

We have started to rent out a 1 bedroomed unit (Prop.#496767)

to holiday makers since 2010 and it has been responded so well.

The flat is just a few big blocks away from Ginza, the center of Tokyo,

and is in a great location using almost 10 different subway/train stations.

All of our former guests left us notes that they loved the location of being quiet in the neighbourhood, but still easy with actions!

We thought the flat was ideal for a couple or a small group,

however turned out that we have so many families wanting to stay there.

We then started to think it would be great if we have a 2 bed-roomed unit and found this one in October 2012.

We finished getting all the refurbishment work done and have started rent out since January 2013.

We live in the same area as our 2 units,

and love it because Ginza is very convenient and offers great fun with many shops and restaurants.

The flat is located few blocks away in the quieter residential part of East Ginza, so you can feel as if you actually live there and being LOCAL!

  • In the bathroom, we have a tub and a shower, and provide shampoo, conditioner and body soap. We have an automatic water filling system for the tub so you can have nice soak after a long day of exploring. There is a separate toilet so there will be no conflict within your family/group!

  • In the master bedroom, there are 2 twin beds forming a wide king sized bed (beds can be split and used as 2 x twin beds if you wish). We have provided top quality Simmons mattresses and Sealy pillows for your comfort, and a big wardrobe for your clothes and luggage. In the 2nd bedroom, we have a double sized bed, and each room has an air conditioning unit. If needed, we could possibly provide a double sized futon (140cm) in the living room for an extra person and there will be 10,000JPY per stay added to the total amount.

Perfect location & hostess

Ideal location of the unit and what sets this apartment apart of all other bookings we've stayed at was the helpfulness of Joyce. She went far above to make sure you had a successful visit to Tokyo, Japan by securing you with a binder of an "apartment manual", city guide, food guide, and indispensable subway maps to navigate through the city. I've used mine so much it was in ribbons by the end of the trip!

The apartment was helpfully labeled in Japanese AND English for foreigners. This was extremely helpful for me as I am still a beginner with Kanji. Joyce is super fluent in English so we were so at ease to be able to ask questions as much as possible. She even went beyond to help with issues with booking and setting a birthday surprise for my husband!

The unit is very comfortable and set up for a good stay in Tokyo to feel as if you lived there. Some spices, tea, coffee, towels, bathroom amenities are already supplied to you. Kitchen is stocked so you don't need to make prior requests to make sure they're there for you like other places or buying spices/oil just to make 2 meals. Beds are a bit firm, would wish for a comforter/futon available to soften the padding but still had a great sleep. Location was awesome, especially using the bikes to Tsukiji and nearby park. Excellent to ride before 8AM, when the roads are less busy and everything is still quiet. Highly recommend coming here against especially because of Joyce's hospitality!!!

Great location!!!

This apartment is very centrally located and very well stocked. Joyce was an amazing host and I could not recommend this property more. Definitely take her up on the offer to be your tour guide for a day. So much fun and very informative.

Everything you could want is very close to the apartment. From subway access, to shopping, grocery/7-eleven, and restaurants!

Excellent stay

This is the second time we stay at this apartment, we truly appreciate the hospitality by the owner with clear instructions and the convenient location. The apartment is very spacious and clean including all the supplies.

It was a wonderful stay and we will go back again. Our whole team (6 people) stayed and feels this is a fantastic stay. We like Joyce a lot! she is a big help for us!

Third time staying in this great apartment

We recently spent another two weeks in Joyce's apartment for the third time. Having stayed the first time, we realised that we didn't need to go through the hassle of finding a good apartment for each time we visit Tokyo as this apartment is perfect for us.

It is modern, relaxing with great amenities. The location is central, down the road from Ginza, easy access to other central locations such as Shibuya and Akihabara, and only about half an hour metro ride from Disneyland, if you fancy!

Also, there are lots of great places to eat and drink in the area, and of course, Tsukiji market is just down the road (go before it moves to its new location).

Joyce is a great host, making sure you are happy and you have all that you need. She speaks English fluently and will help with everything, including booking restaurants, taxis and tours. Very friendly. Thanks Joyce!

This really is a nice apartment in a great location, and I fully recommend it. We will once again be returning again in the future.

We are located in the very heart of Tokyo, just a few big blocks away from central Ginza area.

When you are on holiday in Tokyo, you would like to go & visit as many places as you possibly can, so being close to a number of subway/ train stations and walking distance of Tokyo Station and Ginza serves our flat as a great base!

The flat is in a quiet residential area only 1 minute from a subway station, and the world busiest market, Tsukiji fish market and the central Ginza area where all the departments, shops and restaurants are only 7-8 minutes walk from the flat.

You could also go to Sony building, Imperial palace and its garden are all within walking distance!

There are plenty restaurants to choose from,

you can have some take-away food or go and get your desired food items and cook at the flat while you are relaxed at your HOME away HOME!
