4/7/2012 - "Without stating the obvious it is difficult to know what to write - to my eye the view down the Kyle is one of the best in Scotland; so fortunate then that Shore Cottage has been situated where it is and appointed to such a high standard."
9/6/12 - "Really beautiful cottage, everything we needed and more. Really comfy beds and the softest pillows. The quality of furnishings is excellent. The cottage is a credit to the owners."
This cottage is perfect! It has well designed, modern, good quality fixtures and fittings. The cottage has an excellent lay out and is warm and comfortable, with magnificent views. It is well situated for walks straight from the cottage. There are beautiful beaches in the area and interesting coastal and hill walks.
On our way home but just had to write this review.......What a cottage......What a location.........words fail me!
The cottage is simply the best! Fully equipped with everything you could need, modern and spotlessly clean.
Superb location meant that even with a mixed bag of weather it didn't stop us from getting out and about walking and watching the wildlife.
Booking is easy and Roz is on hand for any assistance or local advice and information.
It will be a long while until we will stop talking about and remembering this holiday.
Highlight of our holiday was our visit to Handa Island, well worth the 25 mins to get to the ferry and then seeing the Puffins was amazing.
We could not of asked for a more idyllic setting or fantastic cottage for our honeymoon. The views over the kyle from the lounge window changed by the hour. Cottage was so comfortable and one of the best equipped we have ever stayed in...a credit to Roz and the owners......we will return one day
This is a fabulous cottage in an amazing location! The quality of the property is about as good as it gets in the Highlands and we would definitely book again - particularly if the sea otters were prepared to give us another afternoon of entertainment right in front of the cottage window. Highly recommended!
The cottage is stunning and the location is idyllic on the shores of the Kyle of Durness. Excellent facilities and very well appointed holiday cottage. Exceptionally clean throughout, warm and extremely comfortable with bedding and towels all provided. Amazing views of the Kyle through the panoramic window. We never tired of watching the ever changing light, tides, weather and wildlife. Roz was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage and we will definitely be returning!
