Coast/Beach:

The beach is within easy walking distance (800 metres) and takes 10 minutes to walk. The beach front has recently undergone refurbishment, with easy walkways direct to the beach, picnic areas and new restaurants. There is miles of unspoilt beach where it is possible to walk from Manta Rota to Monte Gordo.

Travel:

Faro international airport is approx 30 mins drive on the motorway A22. Car hire is not essential but recommended for visiting the local area. Local arrangements for airport pick up are available upon request.

Distances:

There are many interesting and beautiful Portuguese villages within short distances from Manta Rota. Tavira is a fantastic town within 15 mins drive, Monte Gordo is about 15 mins and Castro Marim approx 20 mins. The picturesque town of Ayamonte, Spain is approx 25 mins drive and worth a visit.

Further Details:

There are several cash machines around Manta Rota. There are several supermarkets within Manta Rota and two large supermarkets are to be found in Tavira. Vila Nova de Cacela has shops, supermarkets and restaurants and a Sunday market on the 3rd Sunday of the month. There is also the Forum Algarve shopping mall in Faro with its excellent shops, Jumbo hypermarket and plenty of restaurants.

The property is within a secure gated condominium. The walled, south facing terrace to the rear of the property is only accessed through the property. There is a table, 6 chairs and 2 loungers on the terrace, a built-in barbecue, sink and work bench covered by a pergola and a shower.
