Luxury 2nd floor apartment is part of an exclusive development of 68 apartments. The apartment has a 29sq.m veranda accessed from both bedrooms and lounge that overlooks the ornamental pool, children’s pool and terrace area. The apartment is furnished to a very high standard with a contemporary feel for your relaxation and enjoyment. The development is approx 5/6 mins walk to the Kapparis strip which has an array of bars, shops, supermarkets, bakery, cafes and restaurants. It is a 8-10 mins walk to the secluded sandy beach of Firemans Cove with its crystal clear waters. Taxis are available locally, should you wish to visit the nearby resorts of Protaras (5 mins by car/taxi) with the beautiful Fig Tree bay, Ayia Napa (10/15 mins by car/taxi) with Nissi Beach, water park and superb nightlife to suit all tastes. The traditional town of Paralimini is 2km away with its wide selection of shops, bars, tavernas and restaurants.

We are Tracey, Bill and son Mark.

We live and work in the Saddleworth / Manchester area,

but when we can, love to holiday and unwind at our apartment in Kapparis, Cyprus.

Why Tracey Taylor chose Famagusta region

We bought the apartment in 2008 after several fantastic family holiday's in Cyprus.

We feel very priviliged and lucky to be the custodians of the apartment and love to come out and get away from the daily rat race whilst chilling out and recharging our batteries.

We have alway's loved this beautiful area and decided that this was where we would like to buy (if the opportunity arose).

What makes this apartment unique

It is a beautiful and spacious apartment on an excellent complex(Chromata Lagoon) of 68 apts.

It is situated in a lovely peaceful part of South Eastern Cyprus(Kapparis close to Protaras) with picturesque sandy beaches in secluded coves with calm, crystal clear waters.

The apartment is very close to all local amenities(tavernas, supermarkets, bakery etc).

Our lovely friends Keith & Jackie meticulously maintain the apartment for us and are always on hand to help if needs be.

Hi, Just a short note to say thank you for your appt over in Cyprus, we all had a super time, the weather was hot the food was fab and the beer was cold (and only 2 euro a pint), might see you out there sometime.

Pleased to find the apartment large, airy and immaculate. Large 1st floor veranda overlooks the pool practically became an extra room. The resort at night we found to be just what we wanted, lively enough to make it entertaining but without the bustle. Protaras & Agia Napa are only a short taxi ride away. Appartment was very clean and well maintained as was the complex.

The complex was very quite and the balcony caught the morning sun and overlooked the pool, there were lots of local bars and restaurants and super markets within waking and driving distance. Most of the bars had entertainment provided for 3 or 4 nights a week and most had TV sport coverage, the local beaches were only 5 minutes walk and for a small charge you could rent sun lounges. On none windy days it was a joy to swim in the warm sea waters and do some snorkelling, or take in some of the great local scenery.

We were fortunate that in the 14 days we were there we only saw one rainy day so for the other days the temperature was around 35c in the afternoons and not dropping below 24c in the evenings (just right).

Excellent property

We have just returned from an amazing holiday in Cyprus, to which this apartment played a huge part for us. The apartment was just as described, all the mod cons you need, lovely and clean and very we'll maintained, myself and my husband traveled with our 4 children and the apartment was very spacious even with all 6 of us in there and our massive amount of belongings. The pool is excellent and again always kept clean and tidy, even when on some days it's was busy by the pool we could always get loungers and shade. The location of the apartment is excellent if you want to explore the island further with a car or by doing excursions or it is close enough to shops, bars and restaurants if you don't want to venture to far.

We did hire a car whilst we stayed more for ease with the amount of us in Cyprus and this allowed is to travel to Ayai Napa and the waterpark a few times, Parallimmini, protaras all of which were lovely, we also explored some of the cove beaches and took part in some of the water sport activities.

I had never booked an apartment direct before and thanks to Tracey she helped me all the way putting my mind at rest, she was also very helpful in recommending and putting me in touch with a company who I could rent some baby equipment from and helped to make sure that the company could have all the items delivered for my arrival so defiantly above and beyond expectations.

We will defiantly be booking to return and stay again and have already recommended it to some of our friends

super apartment

This is a lovely clean well maintained apartment, just what it said in the description, good service provided by the owner very helpful. lovely pool, spent lots of time swimming and relaxing. pool area kept clean even delivered more sunbeds. The strip in Kapparis provided good resturants and supermarkets, we liked the Cove all fresh food here, Twilight Inn, Pig and Whistle, Corner Pin for food and entertainment, wasnt keen on the Mello Bar. Firemans cove worth a visit . Dont wear your high hees to walk to strip as there is a lack of footpaths. Paralimni is lovely especially the harbour, we went on a boat trip on the yellow boat. Would recommend most definitely.

Coast/Beach:

It is a 8-10 minute walk to a lovely sandy beach at Firemans Bay that has sunbeds and parasols for hire. There are toilet facilities and a snack bar providing food and nice cold drinks. Watersports (waterskiing and paragliding) are avialable in the next cove where Malamar village hotel/complex is situated above the sandy beach.

The resorts of Penera and Protaras are now connected along the coastline by a fantastic walkway, with seating and pergolas situated along it to enjoy the stunning views

Travel:

Larnaca airport is 40 mins away, and can be accessed by taxi or you may wish to hire a car. There are plenty of car hire firms available online or contact the owner for a recommendation. It is not essential to hire a car but recommended if you wish to travel further a field to see more of this beautiful island.

Distances:

From Kapparis: Paralimini is 2km. Penera is 3km. Protaras is 5km. Ayia Napa 10km. Cape Greko is a 15 mins drive away and its national park where scenic views of Ayia Napa and the Protaras Coastline are striking. This area provides some excellent walking, cycling and sea snorkelling and scuba diving. Larnaca 60km (40 mins). Nicosia 90km (1 hour). Paphos is a 2 hour drive.

Kapparis is a rapidly up an coming area and is now a resort in its own right, the apartment is an 8-10 mins stroll to the nearby beach at Firemans Bay. Excellent local bars, Tavernas, restaurants a supermarkets and also a 24 hour bakery are nearby. The local restaurants serve a wide choice of Cypriot specialities or international cuisine ie. Italian, Chinese and English. Nearby is the traditional town of Paralimini which has plenty of banks with service tills, 3 large supermarkets, classy bars, cafes and restaurants. And ladies if shoes are your pleasure then Paralimni will not disappoint you, it has an abundance of fine shoe shops. The popular family resort of Protaras is only 5 to 10 minute drive/taxi ride, and offers a wide range of bars (many with entertainment) and very good restaurants. Plus excellent water sports available on long white sandy beaches (see the gorgeous Fig Tree Bay). Ayia Napa is a 10/15 mins drive/taxi ride, and offers a huge choice of things to do with fantastic beaches (Nissi Beach for e.g.). The 16th century monastery in the square is very impressive and is set amidst excellent Tavernas, restaurants, bars and nightclubs that cater for most tastes. Ayia Napa also boasts one of Europe's largest water parks. Local activities include snorkeling , scuba diving, walking, cycling, fishing, mountain biking, paragliding and many other water sports. Local bike hire is available.

Notes on accommodation: The accommodation is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It has tastefully adorned wall decoration including pictures and has large mirrors in every room. There is plenty of cupboard storage in the kitchen and has plenty of clothes storage and very large wardrobes in the bedrooms. Air-conditioning is installed in all rooms for both cooling and heating. Outside: The veranda has a lovely table and 6 comfortable chairs for relaxing in the sun or dining alfresco overlooking the beautiful pool area, ideal for keeping a watchful eye over your children. Separate changing facilities, toilets and showers are provided. Showers are also situated poolside. A lovely children’s play area is situated at the complex with swings, seesaws and slide. The pool terrace is adorned with planted urns and has plenty of sun loungers and parasols provided for relaxing in the sun. The development has been tastefully finished and landscaped with orange trees and a lovely range of local flowers and shrubs. Utility Room: Washing machine, iron, ironing board and clothes airer are provided. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels and linen are provided. We do not provide beach towels, these are to be supplied by guests. Duvets with continental quilts are available for the winter months.
