It has a large and lovely walled garden surrounded by coconut trees and hammock. Secure village location amongst very friendly local people. The villa has a unique position, watch the sunset and sunrise from your very own balcony. This is truly one of the most beautiful sandy beach in Kerala, watch the fishermen bring in their daily catch, and taste variety of locally caught sea food. The beach is calm and ideal for swimming and you can spot Dolphins. Shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Cochin international airport is 35 mins away. The House manager can arrange any trips to include accommodation and transport - overnight on a house boat ,Periyar wild life sanctuary, Munnar spice plantations. The service and help from the owner of the villa was top class, villa was very clean, perfect position. Most memorable moments was sitting on the balcony, over looking the sea, watching the beautiful sunsets. Very relaxing holiday, to get away from it all this is the place to be. Only drawback was - to come back home! - Horton.
We had 7 nights of very relaxing holiday at this lovely villa, Thank you Anita. Amrit
We found our stay at CP a delight. The beach house was everything that Anita had promised us and more, shall certainly be doing it again.-Carole.
Smashing place, very tidy villa, had a relaxing time, right on the beach-ideal location, highly recommended, Mick.
What a wonderful villa and location. A truely "Get-away" location offering beautiful countryside and beaches. We stayed 14 nights over the Christmas and New Year. We even had elephants passing by our villa. Even if you are a first time visitor you will feel safe and well looked after.Marie 2013
We stayed at Coconut Palms for 10 days and had a lovely holiday. Mr Biju picked us up from the Airport and was on call for the whole of our holiday. He was extremely helpful and friendly. He arranged an overnight stay on the Back waters which was beyond our expectations.
The villas location was wonderful, a few steps away from the beach and was well equipped. The interior of the villa needed some TLC and was quite dark, however this did not spoil our stay. We would definitely stay here again.
First and foremost "you will not be disappointed ". Coconut Palms is in a perfect location for not only the beach (literally 5 steps from your gate) but also ideally situated for the local restaurants, which are numerous offering excellent Keralan food as well as some offering more european fare. We were a party of 4 (2 couples) and during our 3 week stay we visited tea plantations, spice plantations and explored the backwaters. Our hosts could not have been better. We were lucky enough to have Anita (the owner) staying on the grounds for part of the time and she really was extremely helpful and good fun to spend some time with. The manager of the house is Biju and an absolute asset for visitors. He will organise everything for you (if you want) and was always on hand for any problems or issues you have. He is an excellent man, and no longer just a manager but a friend. The house was exactly as described and was clean and well maintained with everything in working order. We also hired scooters and provided you are sensible this is an excellent way of exploring the local area and a little bit further afield. We particularly enjoyed our trip on the ferry to Fort Kochi and also the backwater trip near Paravur, which we felt was much more rewarding than the backwater tour in Allepy. Some of the restaurants we enjoyed were, Lilliput, Cherai Beach Hotel, PS family restaurant and Chilli Out Cafe. All within walking distance or a 50p TukTuk ride. Also we should not forget Geeta the maid who cooked for us on a couple of occassions and produced food worthy of a michelin star. We were also lucky enough to have witnessed the coconut man coming to prune the coocnut trees, a fascinating sight to see the speed at which he climbs the trees with nothing but a piece of rope. All in all a wonderful holiday and our only suggestion for Anita would be to consider having some comfortable sunloungers available for the lazy days spent at the house. We wish Anita all the very best for the future and hopefully we will see her again soon.
WE STAYED AT COCONUT PALMS FOR 2 WEEKS IN FEB,WISH IT COULD HAVE BEEN LONGER. THE PROPERTY WAS SPOTLESS AND HAD EVERYTHING YOU NEEDED,WE HIRED A MOTOR BIKE WHICH ENABLED US TO SEE A LOT MORE, THE LOCALS ARE VERY FRIENDLY SMILEY PEOPLE AND WOULD WAVE AND SAY HI AS WE DROVE PAST THE BEACH AND BACKWATERS ARE TRULY BEAUTIFUL (RECOMMEND BOAT TRIP ON BACKWATERS) ALSO COCHIN FORT IS VERY INTERESTING.
GREAT CHICKEN CURRY COOKED BY GEETA THE HOUSE MAID, AND BIJU WAS ALWAYS ON HAND FOR ANY HELP WE NEEDED, ANITA MADE US VERY WELCOME AND GAVE US A LOT OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE AREA.WE WERE VERY SORRY TO LEAVE, BUT HOPE TO BE GOING BACK TO THIS LOVELY PEACEFUL PLACE SOON.

The place was fabulous and so clean and the location , just stunning.
Biju was very welcoming and helpful and only a call away.
Geeta prepared a delicious lunch , my first Kerala fish curry made from fresh and locally caught fish and prawns.

Cherai beach was so peaceful that any day trips were not necessary , the local village had everything we needed .
One of the most relaxing holidays for sure .
Had a excellent holiday at Coconut Palms, over far too soon.Fabulous location,a full 30 seconds from the beach, glorious weather, great food ate out every day.Anita and Baiju welcomed and treated us like family members, organised the trips which were without fault.Baiju would drive you where ever you required with no problems. He even arranged transport for use cycles and a scooter much to see many places to visit.A holiday to fully relax, chill out and enjoy
