Just love Tides Reach...the perfect place to get away from it all.

  • 5 of 5

Tides Reach is lovely, cosy, charming, good sized and well equipped. It is set over 3 floors with steep flights of stairs up to each floor. It has a rustic cosy feel and there are sea views from all rooms. We really enjoyed our stay watching the ebb and flow of tide and people. Sleeping with the windows open you can hear the soothing sound of the sea... most relaxing. Yes you do have to park a way a way and there's no phone signal but it's all worth it to slip into a simpler way of life for a while and relax. There was an unexpected emergency at the property during our stay but the Mote Restaurant next door were very helpful and got us in touch with Laurence and all was resolved smoothly. We would recommend the Mote and the Golden Lion both are dog friendly and serve great food. Book to avoid disappointment. Also take the time to explore the many alleyways and paths and find the many hidden cottages. We would love to return.

Tides Reach was perfect for us (4). It's right in the heart of Port Isaac.

The location is in the center of the "old" village, with restaurants, shops and bakeries all around. Lawrence & Sally took care of our needs quickly & with a smile. Remote parking requires some advanced preparation, but then it's not a big issue.

Perfect house right in centre of the village, almost in the sea.

We loved our first stay here. The house is great, with some quirky elements. We had mixed weather but that did MIT stop us from getting out and about. The booking process etc was very straight forward and the property is as advertised.Only one very small issue is that parking is on the street at the top of the village, but that is only small thing you need to consider. We will certainly return to Port Isaac and Tides Reach.

Tides Reach Break

  • 5 of 5

when we first arrived the entrance didn't fill us with confidence being set in a small alley, but once we entered the building we fell in love with the place. the views from all rooms where fantastic, the living room window onto the slipway was great for people watching. The beds where comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with everything we needed.

The location could not be more central with bars, restaurants, shops and even the fresh fish market within a 30 yard walk, and of course the beach right outside the building. We found Port Isaac a lovely place with interesting clifftop walks to other small villages/coves and a good base for visiting other areas of Cornwall. A small downside was the lack of parking in the area but apart from this we had a wonderful week and would definitely return or recommend Tidesreach to friends.

A truly quaint cottage located on Port Isaac's picturesque harbour.

  • 5 of 5

What a great base to explore all the local historic sites & other places of interest in Cornwall. Weather was very sunny & ideal for getting out & about. Had drinks on the harbour most evenings until dusk.

A well equipped cottage with all the comforts of home. Daily visits from Cyrill the seagull, who I fear may have put on a little extra weight !! Must visit again soon. Thank you.
