Dairy Barn is a luxury 5* Gold Award 3 bedroom barn conversion in an idyllic rural location on a working farm well known for its conservation and Highland cattle, yet it is only a short drive away from the popular beaches of Ventnor, Shanklin and Sandown and the many other attractions the Island has to offer. Dairy Barn offers exceptional comfort with three en-suite bedrooms, a large well equipped kitchen with Aga, separate dining room and spacious sunny lounge with wood-burner fire and SKY TV. It also has a private 2-acre woodland garden. The farm is within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) and offers some of the most magnificent landscapes in the South of England, surrounded by St Martin's Down, South Down and Wroxall Down. There are miles of footpaths and bridleways across the farm or within a few hundred yards to explore the local countryside on foot, by bike or on horseback. There are four quality Lodden stables, a spacious tack room and a small paddock which can be rented at rates to be negotiated separately.

The Wight Stuff

The accommodation at Dairy Barn exceeded all our expectations. Clean, well maintained, great customer service from Sally and we would not hesitate to recommend it anyone. A wonderful quiet spot with many attractive walks within easy reach. We were blessed by great weather but I feel sure that we would have enjoyed a wet week just as much in such a beautiful spot. We will be back!!

Delightful property!

The Dairy Barn is one of the few holiday properties we have stayed in which was as good as the photographs! It is really well designed and equipped and was a pleasure to stay at. While it is in a quiet location it is not cut-off at all. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend it.

Exxcellent holiday accommodation

We already knew this was a very high quality cottage because we have stayed on two previous occasions. Sally, the manager, is always very welcoming and friendly and the barn is immaculate in terms of cleanliness and quality of furnishings and facilities. It is a good location on the outskirts of Wroxall, near Ventor and on a bus route.

We are sorry that it is not considered suitable for children The large garden is across a small road and has a stream on one side and the door of the barn opens into a parking area which is used occasionally by farm vehicles, but these are the only safety issues we can see.

We have stayed in the barn as a base for walking holidays including walking round the coastal path using the bus services. it is a very comfortable place to return to after a 20 mile walk.

We thoroughly recommend Dairy Barn and expect to return ourselves at sometime.

Delightful, spacious, wonderfully equipped barn

Dairy Barn is a great place for a holiday.

Wonderfully equipped, beautifully clean and very well looked after. It is spacious,warm, light and airy.

We much appreciated the large table and padded bench in in the very ample sized kitchen. Much time was spent around it eating, drinking, talking, reading the papers and planning our day.

We found the up to date information re local activities very helpful.

We appreciated being met by the manager on our arrival and greatly enjoyed the alcoholic 'Welcome pack'!

We would thoroughly recommend this property to friends and family.

Escape to the Country

Well maintained; superb accommodation; tastefully furnished and decorated; excellent facilities, and everywhere spotlessly clean. Sally Richards, the property manager if required but otherwise we had a free run as though the property was ours. We had one issue with the cooking range (our fault) and when we returned after reporting it, the problem was fixed in our absence. The pedigree cattle on site were fascinating, especially when it came to their bath-time! An amazing place to stay which we could not fault in any way.

Lovely weekend

Immaculate cottage superbly presented. We have enjoyed the peaceful location and the weather has been a bonus.
