Great property, exactly as described

  • 5 of 5

Property was clean comfortable & modern. Located in a good area for cycling - easy reach of Delft and Rotterdam. Owner helpful and friendly. Nearby Schipluiden has an Albert Heijn supermarket and the Indigo cafe was pleasant.

Perfect location

  • 5 of 5

We spent 1 week at the house and and everything was as expected. The house is clean, well organized and has everything you need.

The area is very quiet and beautiful.

The house is located in the center of the region, giving you the possibility to visit many cities around (Kinderdjik, Gouda, Delft, Rotterdam, The Hague,...) .

There are grocery stores nearby.

We recommend it.

Thanks

Denis

Light, bright and very clean

  • 5 of 5

We had a really lovely holiday. The cottage was really lovely and ideal for us. The area around the cottage is beautiful. The cottage had everything we needed for our stay though could have done with a toaster !!! We didn't like The Hague (Den Hag) at all, though Delft is a must, a really beautiful town. Overall we would recommend this cottage, it really is lovely, one of the best we have stayed in.

A rural stay close to the cities

  • 4 of 5

My sister and I recently returned to Canada from a 2 week stay in Maasland at Aan de Kwakel's. A beautiful location in rural Netherlands surrounded by nature yet a short drive to well-known city centres. The accommodations were clean. Nice to have access to bicycles and fresh eggs every day. Highly recommended if you are looking for reasonably priced accommodations that are self-contained with no surprise fees. The only items to be aware of is that check-in is at 3pm so if you are coming into Schiphol Airport from overseas and landing early in the morning you might want to stay in Amsterdam to pass the time away as there isn't really anywhere to 'hang out' in Maasland. Also, the internet is shut down overnight. Overall an excellent place to hang your hat!

Country home surrounded by quiet farmland

  • 5 of 5

Beautiful country location that is well appointed. Gracious hosts that answered all of my messages quickly. The home is both spacious and beautiful. The accommodations are very clean and the kitchen has everything you will need to cook your own meals. We really enjoyed the fresh eggs we gathered for our breakfasts. The property is near wonderful bike and walking trails. Just a short drive to Delft or to the Hague. Owners had bikes we could borrow. Short ride into Schipluiden. Cute town with wonderful restaurants. We really appreciated the peaceful serenity of this home. This would be a wonderful stay for families with children as well. I would definitely stay here again.
