Ski back to just behind the apartment. All restaurants, bars and shops are also within 2 minutes level walk. Totally renovated & equipped to the highest standard, it benefits from underfloor heating, bags of hot water & free WiFi. Reserved, secure, covered parking included. Delivered delicious homemade meals service. Large double aspect balcony. Glorious mountain views. Ski school, hire & Office de Tourisme adjacent. Courchevel Village is directly below 1850 and so, of all the villages, has the most direct & fastest lift connections to the main lifts at Courchevel 1850, from where you can ski the whole of Les Trois Vallees. Adjacent is the floodlit toboggan run from Courchevel 1850 which is great fun, if a little hairy! The Grangettes bubble, where you can also buy lift passes, stays open in the evening to enable you to reach the start of the run.

Small but beautiful apartment very close to lifts to 1850

Beautiful sunny apartment with panoramic views, perfect for our family (2 adults 2 kids). Very close to either ski bubble or lift up to 1850. Handy mini market and bakery and restaurants 1 min walk away. Walking distance to Aquamotion for snow days. Great place and would definitely stay here again.

Great Location

A perfectly situated apartment to ski the 3 valleys. Close to the gondola, a very easy walk in ski boots. 1550 is a lovely village with some great restaurants but the free ski bus is useful to try other villages amenities.

Chez Tom is spotlessly clean & cosy, lovely bedding & towels, very well thought out. Easily sleeps four or a cosy six with young children.

We have stayed at Chez Tom several times & would definitely return & recommend to friends.

Perfect Apartment

We love this apartment! It is exactly as described in the write-up, and looks like it does in the pictures. Since our first visit to Chez Tom in 2010 we have returned here every year; why look elsewhere once you've found the ideal place? The apartment is well kept, always spotlessly clean, the bedding crisp, and the towels fluffy! To arrive and find essential provisions supplied (including wine) is lovely after a day's drive. The included parking is a real bonus. The apartment's location in the village is perfect - as close to the main lift, restaurants, shops, ski hire etc as you could wish for. The village is perfectly located within the massive Three Valleys ski area to satisfy beginners and experienced skiers alike.

Courchevel rental

Ideally placed in modest 1550 within a two minute walk to lifts that take you to the heart of glitzy 1850 and superb motorway skiing and access to the extensive Three Valleys.

Bijou apartment, sensitively and comfortably refurbished, everything thought of. Never once thought, "Could do with...." which is rare in most SC properties. Loads of hot water, always my requisite for good ski accommodation.

Will sleep six, but if travelling with older children would say four maximum.

Would definitely choose to return.

By air - suggest try Easyjet, FlyBE, Ryanair and BMI Baby to Geneva, Lyons, Chambery, Grenoble and St. Etienne. Approx transfer time to Courchevel is between 1hr 30 and 3hrs, Chambery being closest to resort.

By train - Eurostar to Moutiers (Saturdays only) from where it is only a 30 min transfer to resort by taxi. There is also a regular bus service.

By road - driving time from Calais is approx 9 hrs and is almost all motorway apart from the 30 minute drive up the mountain from Moutiers.

Further Details:

We recommend these ski schools as they are English run and staffed, so language shouldn't be a problem. They do, however, get booked up well in advance so advise early booking. They are Magic in Motion, New Generation & Ski Supreme.
