Villa in Gran Sol, Nr. Calpe, Costa Blanca North, Spain - Private and Quiet
About Michelle Crowther
We are a family of four from North Yorkshire. We have owned the villa from new since 1995.
Michelle Crowther purchased this Villa in 2005
Why Michelle Crowther chose Calpe
When we bought the villa we had no intention of hiring it out, therefore furnished it accordingly. We have two children who now like to stay at home during the summer holidays to socialise with their friends. We decided rather than leave it empty, we would hiring it the villa out so other families can enjoy it too.
What makes this Villa unique
We love the villa because it is private, yet not too secluded. It is home from home for us with the benefit of the sun. The villa is on a small quiet complex allowing us to socialise if we choose or alternatively have quality family time. We have never grown board as this region has an abundance diversity, tradition to contemporary, al-a carte to basic cuisine, high activities to relaxation, sociable to escapism, culture to sun sea and sand. These are just an example of why our family and friends have so many fabulous memories of spending time year on year here.

Like Mary Poppins, practically perfect in every way.
Couldn't fault it. Very peaceful location. You're going to need a car as it's out of town a bit but shopping and beach are only 10 minutes away and we found parking no problem.
If anything the photos don't do it justice.
Fabulous villa for family holiday
Impressive villa, very spacious inside and out, modern and spotlessly clean. One child, one teenager and four adults had ample room to spread out and make the most of the villa amenties, lush pool and grounds.
Pool and terrace get the sun all day right into the evening but there are plenty of shady spots too.
Villa is in a very peaceful gated complex about 5 mins drive from Calpe centre.
Wifi went off mid week but property manager Anthony worked with the provider to ensure it was restored as soon possible.
Anthony also made the arrival and departure days stress free,
We all had a lovely stay, thank you!
Thank you for taking the time to review my property. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay in our villa. Thank you for your feedback about the WIFI service. Unfortunately by the nature of this service WIFI defect may occur. However, It is reassuring to hear that our management company responded to the problem straight away and liaised with the our provider to correct this problem as soon as was conceivably possible. We do hope to see you again sometime. Kind regards Michelle
The villa was clean, well maintained and a good location for Calpe. We loved the pool, which was also well maintained.
Although in a gated complex the villa felt very private and the area was quiet.
The property owner, Michelle, responded quickly to any questions before and during our stay. Also, whilst in Spain,
Anthony responded to any issues raised.
The villa had good WIFI at all times.
The property felt secure.
We had a relaxing family holiday at this villa.
This was our first family holiday with my children and their partners and my grandson. The villa and location are absolutely superb. Can’t fault the feeling of being home from home. The area is lovely with lots to offer.
The villa owner is great - it is their ‘home’ and is cared for as such. They have been very communicative and helpful.
I can’t fault this villa for a family stay.
Great location and well appointed villa.
Very fortunate to get such a good week of weather so late in the year. The villa had everything we needed (although we couldn't get the washing machine to work) and was a really comfortable base from which to explore the nearby towns and coast.
Would definitely consider staying again when we next visit the area.
Thank you for your great review it always good to recieve feedback. Thank you also for drawing my attention to the washing machine. I will certainly investigate why you were experiencing a problem and if there is a fault get it fixed. Did you report it to Adelina our villa manager? Hope to see you again in the future. Kind regards Michelle
Stunning Villa - Fully Recommended
Our family of four stayed in this Villa for a couple of weeks and had a great time. We couldn't fault its location, cleanliness, size with exceptional overall quality. The pool was great and very suitable for kids to have a play.
Michelle the owner was always available to answer any queries in the lead up to and during our stay.
I'd recommend this to anyone looking for a nice, quiet family holiday with plenty of restaurants nearby.
