Ground floor: Beautifully decorated property comprising of large open plan accommodation. Large lounge and dining area with open fireplace with wood burner and spiral wooden staircase leading to 1st floor (double sofabed). TV for watching videos and DVD's and hi-fi provided. Brand new fitted country kitchen. Dishwasher, electric fan-assisted oven and hob. Large fridge/freezer. Bedroom 3 on ground floor, a large double bedroom with king size bed, leading to en-suite shower room. 1st floor: bedroom 1, a double room with a double bed. Bedroom 2, a double room with 2 single beds. Bathroom with bath and shower. Closed area for double sofabed. Bed linen and towels provided (please bring your own pool towels). Large outside closed private garden mainly laid to lawn with fruit trees (child friendly). Barbecue and garden furniture provided. Shared and fenced heated pool 11,50x5,00m.
Both properties have the use of a large heated pool (open mid May to end September) and separate shower room and toilet next to the pool. There is also a laundry room with a washing machine. Guests also have their own large private and closed gardens, barbecue and garden furniture are also provided. Ample parking for cars. Sporting facilities, fishing, horse riding, microlight, also available nearby. TV Sat and Wifi provided.
We live here for 6 years now. We have been photographers for 30 years during which we traveled a lot. We fell in love with the area, and we looked for a nice property to live and welcome people who want to discover the heart of France and sometimes want to talk about travel and pictures!

We choosed this place because we wanted a quiet place in the countryside, but close to all major tourist attractions of this beautiful region of Touraine, and easily accessible by road, highway, air or rail. When relaxing in the orchard or the pool deck, no one would believe to be at 5 minutes of restaurants and shops! There are so many places to discover around the choices are not always easy!
The view over the valley and the magical sunsets, space, tranquility, the absence of overlooked, the proximity of the forest and the river, pool, sun all day, all assets for take your time looking at (often) red squirrels through the orchard. For those who prefer active holidays, many sports are all next to the property: tennis, horse riding, kayaking, golf, fishing, ultralight, quad, enough to satisfy the most demanding.
From 15th to 31st December there are an additional load of 90£ for heating.
Please note that a deposit is required before a booking can be confirmed, unfortunately it is not refundable if your booking is cancelled. The balance is to be paid 6 weeks prior to your arrival. Please return form by post along with the deposit (25% of total cost).
Saturday in peak season, other days can be arrange at less busy times of the year.
Kids loved the pool; we loved the spacious house and excellent kitchen. Great garden area. Lovely area. All very good. Brigitte was v.helpful.
When we arrived at The Grange we were delighted that it far exceeded our expectation. The house was clean and well furnished and with lots of room, the garden was very spacious and relaxing. There was an excellent pool and the owner was very helpful. We had a wonderful relaxing holiday exploring the Loire and resting.
