Beautiful, well equipped apartment with a large private solarium. Apartments have the largest solariums - South facing so sunshine all day. 32" HD TV with 300 English channels, Internet access. Ipod docking station. Very well equipped kitchen. Beach toys and equipment to picnic at the beach. Novamar is a lovely, select area ('down the hill') within 10 mins walk of the blue flag Carabassi beach. Close to amenities, bars and restaurants. 'El Clot' Nature reserve is less than 10 minutes walk away. 6 major supermarkets serviced by regular road tram and bus every 30 minutes. An ideal place to discover the delights of the surrounding towns such as nearby Alicante with its 'old town' area, castle, bustling yacht marina and array of seafood restaurants as well as Santa Pola with its’ traditional fishing port, salt flats and flamingos. Buses to Santa Pola and Alicante every half hour. Take a ferry over to Tabarca Island from either of these towns.

About Trisha & Bill

We're an English family, mum, dad, daughter and the apartment is our second home not just a rental property; so it's equipped with everything you could want whilst you're on holiday. We take pride in making sure all our guests are comfortable and have everything they need. The apt is looked after by good friends of ours who live close by and ensure it's kept in tip top condition. We try our best to make the whole booking process as easy as possible and are on hand (email/phone) if you have any queries re car hire, local facilities, flights etc. We realise it can be daunting if it's the first time you have arranged a holiday in this way and are only too glad to help in any way we can. One guest wanted to know how many coat hangers there are in the wardrobes! (it's about 70 by the way!)

Why Trisha & Bill chose Alicante Area

We love Gran Alacant because of the fantastic facilities in the area. There are some beautiful beaches and the area boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. The area is easily accessible with Alicante airport a 10 minute drive away.

What makes this apartment unique

The property is just ten minutes walk from the fabulous Carabassi blue flag beach. We provide beach toys and umbrellas so you can travel light and make the most of the great coastline. There is a nearby tennis court, football area and basketball court. Tennis racquet's and balls are provided in the apartment. If you prefer a more relaxing holiday there is a beautiful Nature Reserve within 10 mins walk of the apartment. There is something in the area for everyone.

Notes on accommodation: This is a lovely family property, a real home from home equipped with all you need for a great holiday. Can provide contact for hire of cot, highchair, car seat etc. No smoking inside apartment. Outside: A beautiful communal pool with jacuzzi and childrens pool area. Children's park, tennis courts, basketball nets, and football goals just 1 mins walk, underground parking as well as outside parking. Utility Room: Washing machine and sink, beach equipment and beach toys for the children, tennis racquets, ironing board and iron. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bath, hand towels and bedlinen are provided but you will need your own beach towels. 50 Euros end of stay cleaning/laundry charge is payable locally, additional cleaning can be arranged on request. Other: Exceptionally large solarium is south facing-sun all day. Equipped with plenty of shade and sunbeds for the sunworshippers, 3rd shower if you get too hot sunbathing! BBQ,Table/6 chairs, plants. Shaded balcony at the front of apt. with table/chairs.

Great holiday

Excellent communication with owners following the booking. We were provided with loads of information to ensure a stress free arrival and stay at the apartment. The apartment was clean and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Roof top solarium was an excellent additional area for the family to use, to relax, eat sunbathe etc... The pool and communal sports area was great and getting to the beach was a comfortable walk. Great location, lots of places to eat out locally and big supermarkets a short bus ride away. Overall a fabulous holiday enjoyed by us all ranging in age from 9 to 76! Thanks Trish and Bill.

excellent find in Gran Alacant

when you find great apartments like this near to many of the towns amenities and beaches you like to keep to yourself for future years !!! :0)

The apartment had everything you needed for a relaxing holiday with dishwasher, washing machine and satelite TV (if wanted a quite night in from the searing heat! there was always something available to watch !). Because of the heat when we went (well into the 30's most days !!) an added advatge to this aprtment is the air con not only in the living room but both bedrooms as well which was a "god send" in the hot nights.

However if like sunning it outside, the roof terrace is one of the biggest I have rented in this area ! this combined with the pool just round the corner made this a regular feature for our stay :0)

The information we received pre arrival was fantastic with lots of information provided, particularly the route from the airport to the apartment if hired a car. I think some of the streets have changed directions over the last few years, so don't trust google !! but would certainly reccomend following Trish's directions to the letter and you will have no problem finding the apartment :0) (although was a leap of faith us driving up what looked like a no entry road sign !! but once we noted the direction all the other cars were parked, we knew it was ok !!).

Overall we would highly reccomend this apartment to anyone

Fantastic apartment in a lovely quiet area.

We had a great week in Gran Alacant. The apartment was very well equipped and had everything we needed. It was very clean. The communication throughout was excellent. The area is lovely and feels very safe. There are plenty bars and restaurants within walking distance and the beach is close by too.

Spacious and excellent value for money.

This is a good sized apartment which benefits from a south facing, large roof terrace. There is air con in both bedrooms and the living area which worked very well. The kitchen is well equipped with large fridge/freezer, filtered cold water, and an additional laundry room. There were also loads of additional bits and bobs, such as surf boards, beach trolley, cool bags, etc. The location is about 10-15 minutes walk from the beach. Downhill going, uphill coming back. The urbanisation is set on a hillside so not for those who aren't mobile (unless you hire a car). There's plenty of parking if you do. The beach was clean and not over crowded. If you take a snorkel you will be able to see the sea is teaming with fish that swim around you. Quite good fun feeding them. Overall we would definitely recommend Trish and Bill's apartment. We chose not to hire a car and walked in to town (about 25 minutes) on a couple of occasions. The trolleycame in very handy for grocery shopping trips.

We had a Great stay

From our first contact with Trisha (feels like I know her even if we never met) til the last, we have been taken care of in an excellent way.

The apartment were in a perfect spot, close to the beach (10 minutes), the bus stop for the local bus - 2 minutes (takes you around Gran Alacant and to the store, market and back - perfect) and also close to lots of restaurants and Bars (our favourite - The indian restaurant and Bar Oceans 11, Great place and great people)

The apartment has everything you'll need. Great Wifi and one of the best things - We did not need to carry home any bottled water. The apartment have filtered water - always two cans in the fridge. We cooked at least 50% at home - Perfect!

We didn't have a car except for one day and you will not need it unless there is a specific reason for it.

We gave 4 stars out of 5. The last one will be there if an update of some furniture is made - but that didn't effect how much we loved to stay in the apartment in Gran Alacant!

Special interest holidays:

Lessons in sailing, wind surfing, sail boarding, kite surfing are all available. The large nature reserve with walking trails is a great way to spend a day. Drive to a Mountain range with great walks, waterfalls and rock pools suitable for swimming. Fishing is available in numerous reservoirs for black bass carp, and barbel. Places on deep sea charters are available and tuna fishing is excellent in season.

Coast/Beach:

The beautiful, unspoilt, blue flag Carabassi beach is a 10 minute walk away, with its gently shelving water it is ideal for children and adults alike. It is a soft sandy beach sheltered by rolling sand dunes. There is a beach bar and you can hire sunbeds if you want to, but plenty of space if you want to do your own thing.

Travel:

Alicante airport is a mere 10 mins drive away, Murcia airport is 50mins. We have many guests stay with and without a car (taxi hire from airport is approx 20€). The area is served by a good local bus service to nearby Alicante and Santa Pola. There is also a road tram that travels around the local area and is a great hit with the children.

Distances:

The small town of Los Arenales is 20min walk and has a promenade, restaurants etc. The fishing port of Santa Pola is 10 min drive with it's castle, marina,fish museum, restaurants and bars. A Sarfari Park is only 15 mins. Alicante with its many large shops, castle, marina is 20 mins drive. The ancient town of Elche with its Palm forest is 20 mins. Benidorm is 45 mins and has a large theme Park, Nature Park, Water Park and Dolphinarium. Guadalest, Altea and Tabarca island are well worth a visit.

Further Details:

The apartment has about a dozen restaurants and bars within 5 mins walk. A walk of about 15 mins provides many more restaurants and bars and a drive of 5 mins in any one of several directions will provide you with yet more choice. The area is served by 5 supermarkets all providing good quality, local, fresh produce as well as many English items. A bakery(Panaderia) is 2 mins walk away - lovely fresh bread every morning! There are banks within walking distance and on Thurday morning there is a local market in Gran Alacant. Santa Pola (10 minutes drive) has a popular fish market and local market for fresh produce.

Nature Reserve:-There is a nature reserve within 10 mins walk, providing lovely walks, bird watching (several hides), 2 small lakes and large picnic areas.

10 minutes drive away are the Salt Lakes of Santa Pola where pink flamingoes abound as well as many other varieties of birds.

The folders in our apartment give you all the local knowledge that you will need for an enjoyable and stress free holiday.
