Apartment in Salema, Portugal - 30m from Beach in centre of unspoilt fishing village

Beautiful modern seaside apartment with view to the sea and a pool, only 30m from the fantastic beach in the small fishing village of Salema.

Salema village retains much of its authentic character, with traditional buildings lining steep narrow streets.

The apartment is tastefully decorated and furnished and is well equipped. There is a spacious balcony at the front with views to the sea and street below, accessed from the living area and master bedroom. An ideal spot to soak up some afternoon sun and watch the world go by.

We also have a secluded courtyard terrace at the rear has access from the kitchen, dining area and bedroom 2, ideal for outside eating or to get some shade if it's too hot.

There is a shared swimming pool with surrounding sun terrace area.

Private secure underground parking garage. Very useful in peak season when parking can be difficult in Salema, and it means that your car is always cool.

The lovely Salema beach is patrolled by a lifeguard, and there is a good selection of restaurants overlooking the beach. There are also plenty of other good beaches close by.

St Antonio Golf and Spa Resort (formerly Parque da Floresta) is about 5 mins drive away, with other courses within easy driving distance.

The apartment has a main living dining room, with two bedrooms, as spacious kitchen and a bathroom. Free Wifi included.

This apartment is THE prime location for the best experience in Salema.

Underground parking, pool, very secure building, everything - and right in the heart of the village next to the local shop, top restaurant and cocktail bar - just metres from beautiful Salema beach. Perfect location.

The apartment is extremely spacious, well appointed with an excellent kitchen, and very comfortable beds. Makes for a wonderful holiday!

Very well furnished apartment in the center of the village with everything close by.

Lots of excellent restaurants and bars all around, a really comfortable place to stay I would recommend it

Lovely clean apartment in a beautiful location, couldn't ask for more.

The apartment had everything we needed for a relaxing, stress-free holiday, greeted on arrival by friendly local representative.

Salema offers a beautiful beach and delicious restaurants. Can't wait to return.

Step out of the apartment and within about 50 paces you will be on the golden sands of Salema beach, with its colourful traditional fishing boats and charming seafront restaurants.

Salema is within a protected coastal conservation area, and the beach is a wide gently sloping sandy bay, with a lifeguard

There are plenty of other beautiful beaches close to Salema, either small secluded coves or long streches of white sand

The west coast of Portugal has some of the best surfing in Europe.


The nearest airport is Faro airport, a 1 hour drive (about 100km).

Lagos is about 20 minutes drive, with its old town, restaurants, bars and marina.

Cape St. Vincent (most westerly point in Europe) is about a 20 minute drive.

Car hire is recommended in order to explore the other beaches and towns in the area, but we can also organise an airport pick up and drop off.

There is an hourly bus service to Lagos.

Further Details:

Everything that you could need for a perfect holiday is within walking distance of the apartment.

Salema has a good range of restaurants serving excellent fresh fish and traditional Portuguese dishes, many with seafront dining areas.

There are also a couple of bars and cafes close by, good for a lazy breakfast.

There are a selection of shops in the village, including a small supermarket, a travel agent and internet 'cafe'.

There is a larger supermarket at Budens, about 3km away.

Free Wifi now provided so that you can keep in touch with email, Facebook, etc. whist you are away.
