Beautifully appointed property, in a peaceful setting with lovely countryside views.
We have just spent a week at the lovely Fuchsia Cottage, We were made to feel very welcome by Sandie and Derek who have a great knowledge of the area .Everywhere locally is so easy to get to, the villages and resorts are picturesque. We particularly enjoyed Arne (RSPB) Corfe Castle, Kimmeridge, Swanage, Wareham and Studland. With easy access to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door nearby.
The accommodation was first class, spotlessly clean and everything we needed for our stay including a beautiful Dorset cream tea on our arrival.
It was so nice after a day out exploring to come back to a cosy space with everything to hand, enjoy sitting on the balcony admiring the view in the evening with a drink and reminiscing where we had been that day and to wake up the next morning to total peace and quiet and lovely countryside views. Thank you Sandie and Derek for your kind hospitality, and the company of Tinker the dog. We hope to return.
Thank you both for your valued review.
We are delighted that you enjoyed your stay with us and look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Compact Flat in area of outstanding beauty
Flat is modern and clean, well equiped for 2 people staying. Good parking place alongside road.
Interior well decorated . Bed comfortable, but 4'8''. Fridge with hardly working freezer.
Walking from the house : great, many paths to choose from. Also lovely cliff coast, forest and heaths to discover on 'the Isle of Purbeck'. Golf is superb on East Dorset and Isle of Purbeck golfcourses.
Restaurant : "New Inn", on 2 miles Church of Knowle village is excellent.
Idyllic stay in the Dorset countryside
Located in a small rural community in East Dorset. East Creech, provides the perfect location for exploring this part of the world without the crowds.
Ideally suited for couples the accommodation and facilities are perfect for either short or long stays. A friendly welcome and surprise Dorset scones with jam and cream got our stay off to a great start.
Having lived in the area for most of their lives Sandie and Derek were able to provide great advice for getting the most out of our week stay.
Thank you both for your review and we look forward to seeing you again in the future.

Great place for staying on the Isle of Purbeck. Close to everywhere! Comfortably furnished apartment
Warm welcome on arrival. The apartment has everything you need. Great place for nature lovers! Hope we’ll find the time to come back soon.
Thank you for your review.
We look forward to seeing you both again in the future.
Sandie and Derek provide excellent accomodation in the beautiful quiet valley of East Creech.
The three rooms provide everything two people need with the added pleasure of being able to sit out on the balcony and enjoy the beautiful view. We were warmly welcomed with many thoughtful additions provided including the cream tea on arrival. For us , who were based everyday in Kimmeridge Bay , we had a beautiful drive over the hill, but it is based close to many beautiful sites and walks if you wish to explore. You do need your own transport from the village. We hope to return and will recommend it highly to friends. Excellent to have a local host with a great knowledge of the local area.
Thank you both for your review and we hope to see you again in the future.
Worbarrow Bay and Ghost village of Tyneham is approx 4 miles away, Kimmeridge Bay with beach and fossil hunting is approx 6 miles away. Studland is an unspoilt village with a stunning expanse of sandy beach with National Trust shop and cafe. A toll ferry from Studland takes you across to Sandbanks.
Use of a car or rented vehicle is recommended, although Wareham railway station is approx 3½ miles away and the National Express coaches regularly pass through the area. Poole's channel port is 16 miles and there is a sea crossing from Weymouth to Jersey and Guernsey.
East Creech itself is a quiet stone hamlet with a scattering of pretty cottages, duck pond and working farm where bread, milk and eggs are sold. Wareham, a Saxon town once raided by Vikings is found 3 miles away with tearooms, pubs, restaurants and supermarkets. A market, farmers market, museum & and Dorsets oldest church with effigy of Lawrence of Arabia can be found here. Church Knowle, a pretty village 3miles away has the nearest pub/restaurant.
Corfe Castle village and Castle ruins dominates the Purbeck countryside. A National Trust shop and tearooms, old streets, shops and pretty stone cottages are found in this picturesque location. Watersports, Horse Riding, World famous Bovington Tank Museum and Monkey World, National Trust cottages (Thomas Hardy and Lawrence of Arabia), Lulworth Cove, Castle and park or maybe a daytrip to Jersey or Guernsey from Weymouth could be enjoyed.
