The Holiday House Podere Monti Holiday is a beautiful farmhouse that dominates one of the most beautiful setting that nature can offer: the Tuscan countryside. Our farm is located in the heart of the Siena countryside, just 1 km from Casole d'Elsa and near Siena, Florence, San Gimignano, Volterra and Chianti. A perfect place to visit some of the main attractions of Tuscany.

The apartment Ciliegio is very spacious ( 90 sq.m) and entirely renovated in 2016, yet maintained the typical style of an ancient, Tuscan farmstead. The outdoor area is composed of garden with tables to eat outdoors, BBQ and garden forniture. From the terrace of the swimming pool you can enjoy a spectacular view over San Gimignano.The apartment is composed by :a fully equipped kitchen, living room with period furniture and sofas, a double bedroom, twin bedroom and bathroom with shower. It can be equipped with a baby cot or with a 3rd single standard bed for an adult . Wi fi connection on all outdoor areas. The farmhouse is located just 1 km from the medieval village of Casole d'Elsa, reachable in 10 minutes by walking via a scenic route with lights. It recently won the orange flag of the European Union for the beauty of the landscape. Casole d'Elsa is a small medieval village located 420 m above sea level at the top of the hill. Well ventilated, it has a dry climate and pleasantly temperate. The heart of Casole is the "piazza Lucchetti", the small central square with its historic buildings dating from the Middle Ages, with narrow streets and small shops where you can buy typical products of the region or taste the delicious specialities in the restaurants on the small streets of the center... A characteristic of this small town is certainly the warmth and kindness of people who still live according to the old traditions and rhythms of life without pollution or stress.

NOT INCLUDED IN PRICE: STAY TAX ( 0.60 EUROS PER NIGHT PER PERSON FOR THE FIRST 5 NIGHTS ),ADDITIONAL CHANGE OF TOWELS AND LINEN 7 EUROS PER PERSON, MID- CLEANING : 50 EUROS, WASHING MACHINE : 4 EUROS / WASH,BEACH TOWELS 5 EUROS / EACH.

PLEASE NOTE : Change of towels and bed-linen is once a week and cleaning of the apartment is upon departure.

The rental cost does not include cleaning during guests stay (example: if you stay two weeks, you will find the apartment spotless upon your arrival, but will not clean a second time at the end of First week). I'm Federica and Podere Monti is my home and my passion. I live here with my family and always we are dedicated to our house and a rural hospitality service always more complete.

Here you can feel love and passion because hosting is not just a job, but a vocation.

Podere Monti is a farmhouse that dates back 1600 and it has been completely renovated in the last 25 years. It took a lot of effort and sacrifice but now we are here and we want to share it with you.

The property consists of the main house where there are 3 spacious and well furnished apartments, always retaining the typical Tuscan style of the old buildings.

Not far from the main house there are 3 cottages , even those obtained from the renovation of the original buildings of the 1600s and a few meters on there is the swimming pool with the panoramic view over the hills.

We are always available for the guests throughout their stay and if you like it will not not lack tips to visit the big cities and the small towns of our region ... without forget some gastronomic visit, because you know.. in Tuscany , good food is not a problem!

Let yourselves be enthralled by the beauty of the area, from the goodness of food and the warm Tuscan hospitality.

amazing country apartment

I celebrated my 40th at Podere Monti with my daugher and best friends. The villa was everything i dreamed of, spacious with 2 double bedrooms, bath and well equipped living area.

the lovely gardens and furniture perfectly positioned to enjoy the glorious sunny days, bbq, eating outside and reading. the shared pool was fantastic to cool down at the end of a very hot day!

The house was meticulously restored and is very nicely furnished and equipped. Nothing lacking. The views from the house are stupendous. The grounds are also very attractive and well-kept. The farm is ideally located, a short drive to Sienna and just 15 kms to San gimigano.

Fantastic

It was a really really great stay. As one of my friends mentioned when we checked in "the place is much better than seen in the pictures". The place is spacious, comfy, very well equipped, clean and decorated with very good taste. The owners are very very polite, hospitable and caring. Federica gave us the most valuable directions and tips on places to visit and things to see and even drove us to a nearby restaurant the night we arrived. I really hope to come back soon!

Great place to explore Tuscany

the house was perfect for my family. Rooms are large and beautifully furnished, clean and bright. Owners were very kind and accommodating of our very late arrival, and although we had some confusion over the security deposit, we were able to work it out. Location is very close to Casole and convenient to Siena, and there are grocery stores nearby if you want to cook in the fabulous kitchen. We would love to come back again some day!

Un lieu de séjour idéal et magnifique

C'était notre 2ème séjour en famille à Podere Monti ( 2012 et 2016 ). L'endroit est toujours superbe, avec une piscine magnifique, des jardins très fleuris, un calme absolu, une terrasse adorable pour profiter de la quiétude de l'endroit à chaque repas. Les logements sont fonctionnels et d'une propreté absolue, les chambres spacieuses et la literie d'excellente qualité. Un petit paradis pour profiter pleinement de cette merveilleuse région qu'est la Toscane, à quelques minutes de San Gimignano, l'un des plus beaux villages toscans, à 1h de Florence et 40 Mns de Sienne.

The pool is located 20 meters from the house and it is equipped with several large parasols,deck chairs shower and big solarium with green carpets on 2 sides. Outside: The environment surrounding the holiday homes includes woodland owned by the proprietors that enables comfortable, relaxing and quiet walks. The outdoor area is composed of garden with tables, a splendid swimming pool (measuring 6 x 12 m) from where you can enjoy a spectacular view over the hills. The garden is surrounded by hedges of laurel, bay leaf, cypresses and secular oaks. Beyond the swimming pool area there are 6 hectares of fields and a woodland. The Owners lives near the apartment and reachble 24 h / 24 h.
