This super, exceptionally well equipped apartment is available for rental throughout the whole year. The property has an airy, spacious feel and has been furnished to a particularly high standard. Both bedrooms and the living room have patio windows which open out onto one of two balconies where you can enjoy the magnificent sea views. To add to your comfort there is full remote controlled air conditioning which keeps the property cool in summer and provides heating during winter. The apartment is situated in the popular St James complex which has a large swimming pool alongside a smaller children's pool together with a play area with swings etc. all of which is exclusively for the use of residents. There is a small supermarket nearby and excellent coffee shop by the pool area and bar/restaurants within the complex. Wi-fi is available in the apartment should you require to use it.

We live in Central England. Jo is a very happily retired teacher and Phil took early retirement from sales/marketing a few years ago. We have 2 grown up and married children and are also proud Grannie and Grandpa of 4 lovely grandchildren.

We first went to the Algarve around 30 years ago and fell in love with the area and Praia da Luz in particular. It became our dream to one day own a property there.
The village, whilst now catering for visitors both Summer and Winter, has lost none of its character and charm. The safe sandy beach which is only 5 minutes walk away from our apartment is ideal for families to enjoy the many water sports available or just to relax and enjoy the sunshine.
There are many really good restaurants and bars in the village. If you prefer excellent fresh fish/meat and wonderful vegetables are readily available from the local shops to cook and enjoy with a bottle of wine on our balcony overlooking the sea.
We have equipped the apartment to a very high standard and it has air conditioning to all rooms which keeps you cool in the Summer and warm if it gets chilly in the Winter.
We have English property managers who will meet you on arrival and look after things during your stay.
Many families have enjoyed their stay and become friends since we took the keys in 2007, a number have returned for their second or third visit.

Let me first say that the location of this property could not be better. Luz is an awesome town in a beutiful setting that is both relaxing and full of fun things to do. We fully enjoyed our stay and would love to make it back there someday. The property is in a nice development which is walking distance from the beach and downtown area. The development was peaceful and well maintained and the view from this particular unit is incredible. The pictures on the page really fail to do the view justice. The condo was spacious and clean (though we did find a pair of beetles in bed on our second night, probably more a result of the location rather than poor higene as the place was spotless). The condo certainly has everything you would need for an extended stay though we were unfortunately only there for a weekend: a large kitchen, seperate bathrooms for masters and guests and a spacious common room with a TV. The condo was inviting and tastefully decorated. My only criticism would be that the beds aren't very cumfortable, a bit stiff for us. The owner is very prompt respond to any concerns. The key wasn't in the designated location when we arrived but this matter was quickly sorted out for us while we checked out the town. This was greatly appreciated. The town itself is quaint but is large enough to find plenty of fun restraunts, bars, shops and activities. Our favorit port of the stay was a hike to Burgau along the oceanside cliffs. The trail starts only a short walk westward from the complex. Overall our short trip to Luz was very enjoyable and we look forward to making our way back there someday.
We have just returned from a lovely holiday at this apartment in Praia da Luz. It is a modern and spacious two bedroom apartment with stunning sea views and a very homely feel to it. The appartment is very well equipped with everything you might need (and more). The location couldn't be any better, 5 minutes walk down to the beach and the bars and restaurants etc. The complex itself is very nice and ideal for families as the kids pool is very big and situated in a secure area with a children's play area adjacent. The owner was friendly, helpful and extremely accommodating throughout. We would not hesitate to return in the future!
This is a beautiful, light and spacious apartment with fantastic sea views from all rooms and the balcony. It was spotlessly clean for our arrival and the owners and manager were very approachable and quick to reply to any inquiries before and during our stay
Just a 5 minute walk to the promenade and centre of Luz, where there is an abundance of cafes and restaurants - Chinese, Indian, Portuguese, South African, Italian, American Diner and much more. if you need even more choice, then 10 minutes in the car and you are in Lagos where there are also plenty of shops. There are two main supermarkets in Luz plus another couple of smaller ones, so a car isn't necessary if you are staying here.
We can recommend this apartment for families, young couples or the more mature! There is a lift if you can't manage stairs.
We have stayed in this complex a number of times before, but the position and lay out of this apartment makes it one of the best!
We had a wonderful week in this lovely apartment...fabulous views, spacious and comfortable and fully equipped. The pool area was perfect too and could be viewed from the kitchen window. Great proximity to Luz centre and the bbeach. We'll definitely return...soon!
The location of this apartment was great as well within walking distance of the beach, restaurants, cafe and local shops. The facilities in the apartment were excellent with everything you would need for a short or long stay. The kitchen was well equipped with oven, hob, microwave, toaster and fridge/freezer as well as all the utensils and crockery for the whole family. The accommodation is well set out with a lovely lounge, dining area, TV and Internet, the bedrooms had balconies and the bathroom and ensuite are modern and very clean, in all very well presented. the Service Manager responded promptly when I rand him with a query. There is also a communal pool which was very clean and well kept. AThe cliff walks are fantastic with far reaching views and if you like walking thoroughly recommend walking to Bagau and Porta da Mois. The bus service is only a short walk and is every half hour for going to Lagos, Portamao and other places. I would recommend the Local Chinese Restaurant, and Bogots for Quiz night on Tuesday's and The Fort by the Church but found most of the restaurants had a varied and great menu, and don't forget coffee and cake at the Baptista for under 3 euros and the Lazuli Cafe on the sea front is excellent value. I stayed in this apartment for 31 days and it felt like home and would certainly go again.
Fell in love with Praia de Luz and this lovely apartment. Comfortable and very well appointed with access to pool and lounger area, which is beautiful and immaculately kept. Lovely sea view from balcony and minutes away from restaurants and bars. Perfect in every way, couldn't ask for more!
Luz beach is a short walk away. The safe, wide sandy beach is ideal for swimming, sunbathing, building sandcastles or maybe a game of cricket! Watersports are available. The lovely sandy cove of Porto do Mos is a 10 minute drive to the east or to the west you have the busy fishing villages of Burgau or Salema, all of which have excellent beach bar/restaurants and soft golden sand. The more energetic might like to walk to these villages along the coastal path, enjoying the breathtaking views.
Faro airport is a 45 minute drive from Luz by motorway. Car hire can be arranged for pick up and drop off at the airport. However, as Luz has all you need, car hire is not essential and transfers can be arranged by taxi.
Lagos stands 5Km to the east of Luz. Here you will find many shops, bars and restaurants among the narrow, cobbled streets. It is also interesting to walk around the marina. Other places of interest within driving distance include Sagres to the west and Silves to the east. To the north you will find Monchique situated in the hills. You might prefer Slide and Splash water park or the Zoomarine, both nearby.
The village of Luz is totally self-sufficient, having shops, bars, restaurants, banks and supermarkets. It is the ideal base for a relaxed seaside holiday or a more energetic walking or golfing holiday. Whilst the resort has grown over the years it still retains its friendly, village atmosphere.

Changeover is flexible but as a general rule, clients should check out by 10.00 am and arrival time after 12.00 midday
