We are a family of 4 who have bought this villa for our own enjoyment and holidays as we love the island so much and how family friendly everyone is. Because we are not able to stay as much as we would love to we rent out our villa for others to enjoy the idyllic island of Cyprus. As our children have grown up with the villa it is very family and child firendly such as stair gates at top and bottom of stairs. We like to think peole who stay feel it is their villa and tried to have everything available we would want as a family when staying.

Great news you all had a fabulous holiday and we would love to have you all back again for another sun filled holiday :)
All good brilliant
There are no words me my husband and girls absolutely loved this villa we didn’t want to leave. Very home from home close to amenities everything you want is all there. Would highly recommend and would definitely come back. Thanks Guys
It was a pleasure to have you all stay with us and we are so happy you have an amazing time. We look forward to welcoming you back soon. Mike
Villa was great, very clean with all the amenities needed including wifi, internet TV, dishwasher, washing m/c. The loaf of bread and milk on arrival along with tea bags etc. was a nice touch. Communications with the owner, mike, were excellent and very responsive and he even emailed during our visit to see how things were going and got a bulb replaced very quickly as a result. Pool was cleaned daily.
Villa was situated in a cul-de-sac of owner occupiers which I felt gave us added security
Tips: Instructions for getting to the local supermarket were a bit confusing and I got totally ripped off at the local Phillipous supermarket at the top of the hill. They overcharged me by 50 Euros after making 3 seperate 'mistakes' on my bill. They did refund me when I went back and pointed it out but if you have a car I would recommend using the bigger Phillipous supermarket at Coral Bay (turn right out of the cul-de-sac and then left onto the main road, then second right (next to the banana trees) then right at the main road and it's just there on the right). However the cost of shopping is about 30% more than the UK. Avoid buying anything you would normally get from the UK as anything with familiar brand names is very expensive. Cheese was c£8 for a small block !
Get a hire car as it makes getting everywhere much easier. Everywhere seems to be situated off the main coastal road into Paphos so the journeys are very easy.
Good restaurants we tried:
Coral King in Coral Bay - very good at reasonable prices,
Alfie T's - great bar food lunches and dinners, british run and really cheap as well as some good entertainment (situated on the coastal road on the outskirts of paphos just past Tomb of the Kings next to the KFC on the right)
Savaas grill in Peiya village - average food but the greek entertainment (singing at 7.30pm and greek dancers at 9pm Tue & Fri) was great. Our teenage kids were grumpy upon seeing the traditional menu and food but turned into laughing, clapping happy people who even joined in the dancing !
Avoid the restaurants in Paphos harbour - they are all expensive, beseige you with touts trying to get you to go to their restaurant and when we sat down to order some of the cheaper meals on the menu were told we couldn't ! (even though we were well within the times on the menu). We walked out and went to Alfie T's instead. We spent 25 Euros for 4 for lunch at Alfie T's instead of 90 Euros for essentially the same food at Paphos harbour.
Thank you for the helpful review and I am sure a lot of guests will find this useful for the future. I will check the directions for the supermarket and see if I can make them less confusing :)
We hope to welcome you all again soon. Mike
lovely clean and spacious villa
We stayed in the villa in March 2018. The villa was very clean and had everything we needed for the holiday. The communications with the owner were excellent throughout the stay and assisted with everything we required, making our trip stress free and relaxing , especially as we travelled with a 2 year old.
Lovely Break in Peyia
We are a Family of 4 and we had a delightful stay in the Villa. Everything was spotless and we felt like we were in a home away from home. The location was stunning and so was the sea view from all the bedrooms. We rated it 5 stars and we would visit again when we have a chance in the future to get another family break. Everything about the villa was cosy and fresh with all bedding and kitchenware provided by the Villa Owners.
We are very happy you and the family had a fantastic stay with us and felt it was a home from home. Our aim is to provide a villa that feels like home and not a rental villa! Looking forward to having you stay again in the near future.
Spacious, clean & comfortable villa in a great location for any type of holiday.
What a joy to walk into a spotless villa after a long day travelling plus the welcome pack of basics meant we could have a drink and snack on arrival. The villa is in a quiet cul-de-sac with fantastic views from the upstairs balcony and has plenty of outside space plus pool and barbeque. It is very spacious and well equipped with all that you need for a holiday whether you wish to cater for yourself or eat out. The pool and villa are well maintained and any issues are quickly deal with by Phil and Denise as we had a lighting problem in the en-suite which was sorted out on the day we phoned them. Neighbours are friendly even though we only said hello on the odd occasion we saw them. The local shops and restuarants are close by and are open all year as they are also used by the locals, handy if you stay out of the accepted holiday season. We were only there for a week so did not manage to visit all of these as we also tried some in Coral Bay but we had lovely meals and service wherever we went. These places are walkable although I would recommend a hire car if you want to really get the most out of the area. Coral Bay is a 5 min drive down the road with plenty of parking and more shops/restuarants, I wouldn't want to walk there though(too far) and the village of Peyia is just up the hill. Driving around is very easy and the villa is in a ideal place to drive up to the North- Polis/Latchi which is lovely or into Paphos and beyond. One thing we did notice is on the drive from the airport to the villa we kept looking out for Peyia on the signs but they don't use this title they use Pegeia which threw us a little and we took the wrong turning and arrived a little later than we planned. There are plenty of well known supermarkets in Paphos(lidll,M&/S etc) but many of the local shops are just as good - so you can play safe or experiment with your shopping. There is plenty to see around the area and easy to get to, we enjoyed the visit to the shipwreck(Edro 111) and the walks around the cliffs & the Seacave area. We also found a lovely coastal pathway on our way into Paphos with a lovely sandy beach which was very quiet. Although we didn't use it, the local bus service from Coral Bay to Paphos was very regular and popular with locals and tourists alike. We enjoyed our stay here so much, the villa and the particularly the area, we are already thinking of next years getaway and returning here but for longer.
Thank you Mike for letting us use your 'second home'.
Thank you Jacqueline for such a detailed review and it is so useful to others wanting to stay and not sure of which villa to choose. You are a pleasure to have stay and hope you visit us again soon. Mike
Special interest holidays: Paphos, an UNESCO world heritage site, is the ancient capital of Cyprus and former fishing port the often accredited as the birthplace of Aphrodite. The ancient sites and archaeology preserve this noble past and the harbour area builds on this, mixing old and new, to provide a perfect holiday destination in the sun. Coast/Beach: Coral Bay is a 5 min car drive away. Here you will find a choice of beaches, water sports, cafes, restaurants and the most beautiful sunsets. A drive to the Akamas is recommended where there are plenty of unspoilt, deserted beaches on the way. Also the is the amazing untouched beach of Lara bay (Turtle Beach) where the turtles come to lay there eggs on a night. Travel: Paphos International Airport is a 20 min taxi transfer journey. Larnaca is an hour and three quarters journey by car. Car hire is highly recommended if you want to get out & about and discover Paphos and its' surrounding areas. Distances: Peyia village centre is a leisurely 15 minute walk. The centre of Peyia is regarded as one of the nicest villages in Cyprus with a beautiful Church, stone square and ancient ruins. It has a reasonable number of restaurants and bars, along with take-away food. The supermarkets in Peyia stock fresh produce and a great range of products. There are a few banks with cash-machines and a butchers, fresh fish market, bakers, Medical Centre and some other shops. Further Details: The local village of Peyia offers more than enough to suit any desire with many taverns, restaurants, supermarkets, deli, bakery, fishmongers, banks and not forgetting the famous old church which really is worth a visit. Weddings can be arranged in the garden of the Municipality, just 12 mins walk from Villa Madelise. The Aphrodite water park is a must for all the family, as is go-karting in Paphos & Coral Bay and many diving clubs and water sports all held locally in Coral Bay. You will find an informative Owners Guide at the villa to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.
