As the title implies I've just enjoyed my third visit.
Located within a 5-10min walk of the Marina a 5 minute drive to the beach and blessed with a sunny sea view it's got all you need.
If you decide to eat in, then the kitchen is well equipped (but why would you given the great choice of restaurants in Lagos) - both bedrooms are large and the bathrooms are also excellent - lounge/diner a good size, the apt has a quality feel to it
If your thinking of Lagos then I absolutely recommend the apt

Fabulous stay !
Just returned from a weeks stay at this lovely apartment, chosen from previous reviews. Everything as described, the apartment is spacious, clean and well equipped. The communal areas were well maintained too and the lift was a bonus. A small cabin case is all you need as the washing machine is extremely useful and the boiler ensures a hot shower every time! The balcony off the kitchen is perfect for breakfast and the second balcony off the living area, with a great sea view, is great for afternoon sunbathing or enjoying an evening drink. The pool and garden are well maintained, which we had pretty much to ourselves. The location is a residential area so lovely and peaceful. There is a small shop over the road or the supermarket is only a short walk away. At the Marina and beyond in the old town there are numerous restaurants, bars and shops where you are spoilt for choice at reasonable prices. The owner Paula is a delight, answering all our questions with very prompt efficiency, providing helpful information. Her manager, Carlos, had already looked into a taxi enquiry prior to our arrival, but was there to greet us and assist us with local directions. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend to friends and family but would prefer to keep for ourselves!! In fact we are already looking into for next year! Book and you won't be disappointed :o)

A wee gem
Fab apartment, great contact with Paula the owner and easy hand over with Carlos, beautiful large living room and dining area enough for six people, there is everything you need to have a great holiday in this apartment it is spotlessly clean and so many extras like the WiFi,washing machine, tumble dryer and not forgetting the beach towels as well,no need to rush out for sunbeds in the morning they are also with the apartment the pool is lovely and just the right size to cool off in the heat ,great views over the town and the beach from the balcony, an easy walk in to the town down a small easily manageable hill takes about 5 to 7 mins , lovely town, plenty of places to see and explore would definitely recommend this to couples and family's s wee gem will certainly be returning.

This was our 3rd stay at the apartment in the last two years, our 4th is already booked for July 2018!
The apartment is always spotlessly clean and well stocked with everything you would need.
Carlos, the manager is friendly and helpful as is the owner of the apartment who replies quickly to any questions you may have.
For the position, fantastic sea views and a 5 minute downhill stroll to the marina, and size of the accommodation the apartment is great value for money.

Great apartment, great location
The apartment catered for all our needs & is very spacious. Walk to Marina approx 10/15 mins & from there a short walk into the main town. Beach also approx 15 mins walk away (turning left out of the gates).
We stayed Boxing Day to New Years Day & temperature ranged from 17 to 21 degrees, radiators in apartment took the chill off in the evenings.
Communication with Paula from beginning to end of our break away was spot on and Carlos (the Agent) met us on arrival & was very helpful.
Would have no hesitation in staying here in the future.
Have lunch in the Oasis & an evening meal at the Quay, both at the marina.

We stayed for 6 nights - the apartment has everything you want for a comfortable stay. There is 2 bedrooms,2 bathrooms, full kitchen, living room, dinning room and 2 balconies. The apartment has a pool but we didn't use it. Your in walking distance to the beach (15mins), city center (10 mins) and grocery store (pingo doce - 10 mins). The place is clean and has security. There are chairs for the beach along with some toys to entertain the kids. The only issue we had was contacting the property manager upon arrival and departure - communication channels didn't also work. Be ready to walk a lot - there is a hill going into the city that become very tiring by the end of the week especially upon return - I guess we could have taken a cab but..... - good thing is it keep the pounds off with frequenting all the great restaurants in-town.
Hi Cameron. Thank you for your great review of the apartment. I am sorry you had some problems with contacting Carlos. I have spoken to him about it and we think the problem was that the phone calls were made over the internet (What's App maybe) rather than a direct phone call. He doesn't always have internet access for calls. I will revise my advice to future guests to ensure they don't have the same problem. I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and I know what you mean about burning off the calories!
Meia Praia Beach is a wide sweep of golden sand, 4 km long which edges the Bay of Lagos and is 10-15 min walk away or few mins by car. It is spacious, clean and safe for bathing. Sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired for a very reasonable fee.Dotted along it are excellent beach cafes and restaurants serving the best of local produce.Other beaches such as Dona Ana are easily reached by car, bus or a longer walk. The whole coast is full of wonderful beaches and beach activities. Details in info pack.
From Faro Airport it is 74Km and about an hour by car. Or take a taxi from airport into Faro bus or train station. Train or bus from Faro centre to Lagos about 10 Euros. Shuttle services are widely advertised at about £25 pp return. Car not essential but very useful if you want to explore the fabulous sights of the Algarve coast (or go shopping in the huge malls at Albufeira and Portimao!) Internet searches for car hire from Faro Airport should provide plenty of choice. Contact owner for advice.
Lagos Town centre is 10 min walk through the Marina and over the pedestrian bridge. The station is 5 mins walk and the bus station 10 mins. Lisbon is about 280 km away and the train goes there as do the buses - but it's a long journey. All other places of interest are within easy driving distance of Lagos. Cape St Vincent, the most western point of Europe is worth a visit and is about 40 min drive. Luz and Burgau, Alvor and Portimao are all worth seeing.
You might find that you barely have enough time to investigate all that Lagos and its environs have to offer. The restaurants, cafes and pubs are excellent. Food is fresh and not expensive. Wines are wonderful. The local supermarkets stock everything you could need and understand the needs of foreign visitors very well indeed. There are markets held in Lagos or round and about most days. Loule market is easily accessible by train as the station in Loule is right next to the market. Dancing on some Friday nights to Brazilian music in the town centre is fun. For football and other sports fans, there are plenty of very good pubs and cafes with TV coverage of all sports. There is an autdrome close by and easy access to waterparks and zoos. The best way to get the most out of your visit is to do some internet research yourself or use the information pack provided in the apartment. Whatever you do here, you will have a fabulous time!

Booking Notes: Refundable deposit of £150/€200 against breakages, call outs for lost keys, extra cleaning, etc, required. Changeover Day: Changeover day is flexible. Please contact owners to make firm arrangements. Access on the day you arrive is after 2 o'clock and you need to leave the apartment by 11 o'clock on departure day. Notes on prices: Price is for up to 4 persons per week. Extra charge for 5/6 persons. Children count as full person. Under twos free. Cost is as per price table with no extras. Refundable deposit of £150 (winter £250) against breakages/winter fuel. Winter fuel costs will calculated from day of arrival to day of leaving and deducted from winter deposit. Call out fee £50/euros per incident eg. locking oneself out of apartment requiring attendance of letting manager, lost keys (plus cost of replacement) etc, will be deducted from deposit.
