Pretty little converted barn sleeping up to 6 people with its own private pool, situated in a secluded position on a winding mountain road above the tranquil village of Seix in the foothills of the Pyrenees. Fully equipped kitchen. Spacious lounge/dining room with TV. Bathroom with shower, hand basin and WC situated on ground floor. An ideal setting for a quiet holiday with plenty of opportunities for walking (GR10 is close by), sightseeing and enjoying French rural life. The village has restaurants, bars and a small supermarket, post office and pharmacy. The market town of St Girons is 20 minutes' drive, and Toulouse airport 90 minutes away.

Distances:

The barn is 1 mile from Seix village centre, and about 10 miles from the market town of St Girons. The Spanish border is 2 hours drive and Andorra about 3 hours. Prehistoric caves, an underground river, a reptile farm and an adventure playground are all a short drive away.

Further Details:

The lively village of Seix boasts a full complement of shops including bakers, butchers, restaurants, tabac, an auberge and a small chateau/museum. Two shops sell clothing and equipment for walking/skiing. There is a helpful tourist office in the square, which hosts a fortnightly market and frequent entertainments throughout the summer. Kayak hire and lessons are available on the river Salat which runs through the village. The nearby town of St Girons holds a typically French large Saturday market packed with local produce and hand made goods.
