I live in the North east of England with my wife and 2 children, We both work full time and love to spend our holidays in Cyprus where we have made many friends.
My wife and i would love to retire to Cyprus one day because of its great climate, friendly people and the gorgeous food, until then we shall continue to enjoy our holidays there.
The Owner purchased this villa in 2007
Hi, we bought our villa in Liopetri because we wanted to experience "real Cyprus" and that is what we got. We make use of the facilities in the village a lot during our visits, from the weekly market to the restaurants and bars. The villa is situated in a part of the village, where in the adjacent fields, the local farmers grow the famous Cyprus potatoes and can be seen being hand picked by the farmers.
We love the location of the villa because it offers very easy access to the surrounding villages and towns, Frenaros, Derinyha, Xylophagou and Paralimni, also the major resorts of Ayia Napa and Protaras are just a short drive away. The villa is situated on a complex that is home to residential and holiday makers alike, we have made many friends here and everyone is very friendly and helpful.

A quick note to say the service we received from Mike was excellent with friendly and prompt replies to our enquiries.Transfers again were friendly and efficient, within easy reach of Ayia Napa and plenty of entertainment - our grandson loved the Luna Park which we had to visit on several occasions!!
Overall a lovely family friendly holiday.
Mrs S Parsons 14th-28th September 2012
Myself, husband, grandson and his girlfriend stayed at this villa for 2 weeks in September,The owner Michael was excellent regarding
booking the villa, arranging pick up from airport and his car that was
available for our use. The villa is in a quite cul-de-sac and is very
pretty, we had fresh lemons from the garden to pick for our drinks. The villa had all one could ask for a great
stay it was home from home. The bedrooms were spacious and the lounge
and kitchen was tastefully decorated. The villa and bedlinen was
spotless. We enjoyed our stay very much.
The villa has everything you need and more, the bedrooms are air conditioned which you needed with the heat, cool boxes and ice blocks to take to the beach. Lots of fresh towels and bedding, all the plug sockets are normal 3 points (so no need for adapters) hair dryer. Really spacious villa situated in a beautiful village with 3 of the best restaurants in the Famugusta area. The car although quite old was brilliant and a must to get around, it was spacious, easy to drive and again the air con was very much needed. The only downside is no private pool, the communal pool is only a 2 minute walk away though and again is clean and spacious. This I suppose is reflected in the price as it is so reasonable and with a pool it would cost more because of added running costs. The owner was easy to communicate with and the meet and greet service was brilliant and very accommodating as we were delayed coming out and delayed going back. A really lovely holiday and would definitely recommend it.
My husband and I have just returned from a 2 week stay in this lovely well equipped villa. In a lovely quiet location.
The villa is very well presented and has everything you need for day to day living. There is ample linen and towels in the villa, and the kitchen is very well equipped. The 2 patio areas outside are great for outdoor dining and there is a large BBQ.
There is a lovely restaurant in Leopetri called the 5 Arches, we found this a little difficult to find, however really worth the hunt, amazing food, although huge portions, the staff will let you take any leftovers home if you wish, very attentive staff in a relaxing atmosphere.
The use of a car for your stay is great and a must for the remote location of the villa! The villa is situated just outside the village of Leopetri and is set among a small estate of similar villas which are mainly occupied and lived in by British people, who we found to be very friendly and helpful.
The centre of Leopetri is about a 20 minute walk from the villa, Ayia Napa and Protarus are about a 10-20 minute drive away, with lovely beaches, restaurants, shops and bars.
A taxi to Ayia Napa will cost you €20 each way. There is apparently a bus that goes from Protarus and Ayia Napa to Leopetri river, however this is quite a distance from the villa.
The meet and greet service was very smooth and informative, as we arrived very late at night, we were able to stop at a 24 hour shop on our way to the villa to pick up some supplies for the morning.
We had a problem with the car on the first day of our stay, this was dealt with and fixed extremely quickly.
Leopetri is a great base to explore the island and the roads are very easy to negotiate as driving and road signs are the same as the UK. The Troodos mountains and Aphrodite's birth place are my favourite day trips, these will need a full day to cover.
We have visited Cyprus many times and usually stayed in a resort, the villa provided a lovely peaceful stay in Cyprus.
The contact between the owner from enquiry stage to return was very pleasant and quick responses at allow times, and also the same with the guy that deals with the property in Cyprus, was very friendly and helpful when needed.
Would recommend this villa for a peaceful stay in Cyprus and we would definitely return to this accommodation.
We have had two lovely holidays in this villa and have booked again for next year. It is like a home from home, has everything you need and is in a fantastic location. It is in a quiet residential area and the neighbours are all friendly, so if you want peace & quiet it is great but also if you enjoy the hustle and bustle of a lively resort then it is only a short car journey into Ayia Napa.Close to all the lovely beaches and has an on sight swimming pool too.
The villa is very nice, there is a large BBQ, everything you need including a washing machine which helps especially with kids!! Having a car is a big bonus because Liopetri is a very remote location! The village is approximately a 20 minute walk away.
There is a bar on the complex which opens at 4pm week days and from midday at the weekends, most of the people on the site were friendly. The only down side for us was that because the air conditioning has a setting of two hours max at a time, it meant that during our stay in the middle of July and August it got very uncomfortable in the night even with the ceiling fan on.
There is a communal pool which is great and it was empty most of the time so we had it to ourselves. We had two teenagers with us who enjoyed the pool, and going to the nearby beaches, especially the ones with water sports.
There are some beautiful beaches in the area and within a 15 minute drive away and some great restaurants in Frenaros and Vrysoulles. The 2nd restaurant in potamos harbour is fabulous and the setting us beautiful.
We really enjoyed our stay and we would definitely use it again.
This was a lovely villa which was equipped with everything a family would need right down to buckets and spades for the children. Towels, linen etc were plentiful and the house and garden were well maintained.
The only slight downside was that the villa was a little off the beaten track - however the added bonus of a car being included with the holiday ensured that this wasn't really a problem.
The neighbours were friendly and helpful and the owner's friend/caretaker was efficient and available if required without being intrusive.
This was a real family oriented villa and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to 'do their own thing'.
The owners manual was very helpful and included some excellent recommendations and tips. Particularly for the restaurant in the village!
Contact with the owner before our holiday was friendly and prompt.
All in all a really good holiday.
A very spacious clean modern villa, with ample space outside to enjoy the fantastic weather. It has all the mod cons you have at home with the washing machine a big bonus as you can travel light. Pick ups to and from airport arrange by owner was spot on n very informative and the owners car was great for trips to nissi beach and Ayia napa. The villa is in a quite residential area but only a 15 minute drive to all the restaurants and nightlife so you have the best of both worlds. Thanks to Mike for a great holiday.
