Bungalow in Corralejo, Fuerteventura - Quiet And Private Location With Only 3 Mins To Golden Beach, Restaurants, Bars And Shopping
Located in a quiet residential area of Corralejo, Palm Springs has 16 adjoining bungalows surrounding a large single depth swimming pool. We have tried to think of all the small items which makes a holiday home more comfortable. The bedroom is quiet and with the air conditioning very cool. The kitchen is divided from the lounge with a breakfast bar and stools. However dining on the terrace or just enjoying drinks 'al fresco' is more enjoyable with a private location, and a lovely flowering garden. We also offer wifi and English TV channels. Self catering is made easy with a mini-market/supermarket & the El Caompinario shopping centre 3 mins walk with bars & restaurants. The old town with the harbor & bars/restaurants is accessed by walking along a beach path or the avenida with wonderful views of beautiful gardens and the sea. We usually take a taxi back at only 3 euro. The bungalow is perfectly situated with the nearest beach 5 mins walk and flag beach 15 minutes walk. The bus stop is on the next block.

We are a middle age couple who love the quiet solitude of Fuerteventura we like to walk and always include a pilgrim walk in our holiday. We are also lovers of the wonderful quiet beaches with miles of golden fine sand. Our home life is very different with an organic dairy farm in Yorkshire :). Our children are all grown up now with their own homes and careers. We are thrilled that 2016 brought us our first granddaughters (twins) !!!! :)) Then in 2017 a grandson - how blessed are we. We can not wait to introduce them to a bucket and spade on flag beach............... might need to wait a few years..... Sue & Graham

Very enjoyable holiday.
Very clean and well kept property close to the centre of town but far enough away to be nice and relaxing. Not facing the swimming pool either which we liked. Some restaurants and bars a few minutes walk away which were nice and not much further than that to reach the main area. Also a lovely walk via the beach path to get to the old town. The water park is also only about a ten minute walk to get to for anyone who fancies that. All in all a very enjoyable stay in a very good location. Would definitely recommend the resort and the accommodation.

Superb apartment with everything you needed for a most comfortable holiday. Spotlessly clean through out. Close to the Beach and the superb Restaurants and Cafes in the shopping centre. The supermarket was close to. Fantastic holiday in a fantastic apartment.

Super comfortable highly recommend
This is a lovely bungalow with everything provided. It's obvious that a lot of thought has gone into making sure guests feel welcome. Spotlessly clean on arrival with a well equipped kitchen for holiday catering. Comfy beds and a great shower, always plenty of hot water. Wifi worked very well. We loved the outside space which gets lots of sun and is quite private. The pool area is very nice and well maintained. Easy walk to a very large supermarket and into town. The beach walk into town is beautiful and we had lunch in quite a few of the little restaurants dotted along the beach just to sit and admire the view. Overall, a fantastic holiday in Corralejo and would love to return. Sue's bungalow would definitely be first choice if available.

We had a lovely relaxing weeks stay in this property. The property was spotlessly clean and a real home from home. Also we liked the privacy of this property.
The owner answered all queries promptly which was very helpful and reassuring. The instructions re location of property were very clear and also the instructions inside the property were really helpful.
We caught the Hoppa transport to and from the airport which we found very reliable.

The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Had everything you could need for a enjoyable stay. Sue was very helpful and promptly answered any questions we had. Special interest holidays:
There is plenty to do in Fuerteventra if you choose. Although many people visit for the relaxation and the wonderful golden beaches.
For the active guests choose from a huge selection of water sports, from snorkeling to kite surfing or set sail on a lazy boat trip or take the ferry to neighboring Lanzarote. On dry land you could play golf or even try your hand at quad-biking even jeep safaris.
Baku water park in Corralejo is home to the waterpark also mini golf, some fascinating marine life shows and regular craft markets.
The beaches around Corralejo are the best you will find anywhere in Europe. 'Waikiki beach: popular golden sandy beach with bars and resturants nearby. Also 'town' beach: small sheltered beach by the old harbour town and 'Las Dunas' the sand dunes, 8km of protected national park stretching as far as the eye can see, a favourite for surfing/boogyboarding, kite surfing and wind surfing. Tuition available in town. El Cotillo takes aprx 15 minutes by car but is well worth it. Miles of lagoons.
A car is not essential as everywhere is within easy walking distance. I can arrange a transfer from the airport or help with car hire details. Fuerteventura is a beautiful Island and well worth seeing, so you may consider hiring a car for the independence. Driving on the Island is very easy. The bus stops one block from Palm Springs to take you to town. Public transport is excellent on the island. You an also take a bus to El Cottillo for the beautiful beaches and lagoons.
It takes 15 minutes to stroll (not speed walk) into Corralejo town, either along a beach path or the avenida. The nearest mini-market is 2 minutes walk, 3 mins walk to a large supermarket. Both have daily fresh bread and fruit/veg. The nearest restaurant is again 2 minutes walk. The port of Corralejo is about 30 minutes walk, from here you can take the ferry over to Lanarote for the day or to Lobos island.
There are many places of interest on the island you may wish to visit.
Betancuria is a breathtaking little village with a beautiful 15th centre 'cathedral' which is full of ancient charm. We visit a wonderful restaurant there, which I can give you details of. Isla de Lobos lies 3km off shore from Corralejo harbour. The island is an unspoilt haven of calm and simplicity. You could even take a glass bottom boat over, the island has wonderful snorkelling. La Oliva once the capital, houses an artisan workshop which produces beautfull embroidery.
Gran Tarajal is the second most populated picturesque town and its promenade along the dark volcanic sand is full of terraces, restaurants and bars.

Booking Notes: On booking we ask for a deposit of 25% The balance of your holiday accommodation is due 6 weeks before your departure date. If transfer from the airport is required, the cost is 40 euro for up to four people each way, payable on the day. * Please note Naturism is not permitted on the complex. Changeover Day: We are flexible with change over days and can usually try and accommodate you. Arrival is not until 2pm and departure must be by 10:00. Many guests wish to 'overstay' due to late flights - we try to accommodate where possible, so always ask. Notes on prices: Prices shown are for the property per week in UK Pounds. If more than two people wish to stay in our holiday home an extra fee of £25:00 per person will be charged. We have air-conditioning units in the bedroom and lounge if you would like this facility we will be charging £25. We add this as an extra to keep our prices low for those who do not wish to have this service. We have only raised our price by £5.00 this year and that is the first time since 2016
