Lovely home from home in the French countryside
We spent a wonderful week here as family (five adults and two children aged 1 and 3). The accommodation is great, well set out and furnished with everything you might need during your stay. The pool area is well maintained and secure and the gardens are perfect for kids to run around in safety.
We spent a day at the local zoo which was reasonably priced and very well set out. Both Dinan and Dinard are pretty towns with great beaches and local markets with lots of lovely places to eat out too.
We would highly recommend this villa as place to unwind in the unspoiled French countryside; either at the height of summer as base for a beach holiday or snuggled up in front of the cosy woodburner for a relaxing winter break!
One word of warning - the local produce is all very yummy and you are in danger of coming away a little heavier on your return!!

Yes I agree about the local produce.....it should really have a health warning.... Far too gorgeous!! The patisseries are just wonderful.
Family holiday August 2015
Two fantastic weeks at this beautiful, modern, very well equipped villa. We all loved the pool (warmest one I've been in for quite a few years!). Boys loved the the big garden where they played badminton, boules, football and ran a lot! Dinan is gorgeous and only 'up the road' and the beach we went to (St Lunaire) was lovely with no trouble parking. Good and easy communications with Sylvia, the owner, too. Very peaceful and relaxing and I have no hesitation in recommending the villa.
Thank you ! We are so pleased to hear you've had a wonderful holiday .... It is a wonderful spot and we do try and meet all our clients needs .... Hopefully we'll see you again....
Fantastic holiday at Mahermore
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this well equipped, comfortable villa. Our children enjoyed the outdoor pool and it kept them amused for hours. The garden is huge and great for playing games.
The area is lovely and peaceful and only a short drive from the beautiful, historic town of Dinan.
Can't wait to come back to Mahermore.
It's great to be back - this is our third visit. We love the area, which is peaceful and quiet but only 10 minutes from Dinan. The house offers everything the family needs - good quality, well appointed, great pool, great garden to play frisbee etc. The owners are friendly, easy-going and helpful. We'll be back again sometime for sure.
It's always lovely to hear our clients have had a great holiday .... That's what were here for !

This part of Brittany is quite literally littered with a succession of sweeping bays and golden strands. The deep blue sea of the emerald coast is irresistible to children and all those who are young at heart. Here we name just a few of the many beaches which are within a short drive of our villas.
A pretty seaside resort on the Cote Emeraud and the nearest to our Villas (about 20 minutes drive). You will discover here one of the most beautiful views on the Emerald Coast.
By Sea: Getting to our villas couldn't be easier. Brittany Ferries operate a large fleet to St Malo, Caen, Cherbourg and Roscoff.
St Malo - The nearest port to our villas and approx 45 minutes drive for Brittany and Condor Ferries from Portsmouth and Weymouth.
Caen - Approximately 2 hours drive away for Brittany Ferries from Portsmouth.
Cherbourg - Approximately 2.5 hours drive away.
Low cost flights available from Ryanair to Dinard, 20 mins drive and Flybe to Rennes a 1/2 drive away.
Dinan: The beautiful medieval walled town of Dinan (only 5 mins car journey) with its narrow winding cobbled streets has numerous restaurants, bars and pizzerias, as shops. There is something in Dinan for all ages, tastes and budgets, from Michelin starred restaurants to Internet cafes.
St Malo: Approximately 25 minutes drive away, the old town of St Malo is a labyrinth of narrow cobbled streets, littered with restaurants to suit all tastes from fine French cuisine to spicy Vietnamese cooking.
A medieval stronghold overlooking the beautiful Rance Valley, Dinan is undeniably one of the most exquisite towns in Brittany. Still surrounded by magnificent ramparts, its heritage has been protected with belfrys, churches, timbered houses and narrow cobbled streets revealing their secrets as you meander through them. Find many find restaurants, browse through some of its individual and unique shops or hire a boat to go down the River Rance. Whatever you do, Dinan will give you an unforgettable day out.
St Malo: A delight for any holiday to Brittany, something of a natural jewel on the emerald coast. It is a splendidly preserved walled city that has been almost completely restored after being all but obliterated during World Wall II. There is a maze of narrow cobbled streets within the great rampart walls which are home to countless shops, restaurants and pavement cafes.
Mont Saint Michel: The world famous and most visited site in the whole of France, guardian and treasure house of the sweeping bay sine the 10th century. Whilst now extremely commercialised, wondrous to some and a shrine of pilgrimage to others, it is still an obligatory visit for any first time visitor to Brittany. You will find a memorable ascent to a memorable place never to be forgotten.
