The property is located beside Pinhal golf course and The Four Seasons, which is very popular with golfers and families alike. Within 'The Old Village' has really excellent restaurants, snack/bars, supermarket and a very cosy local pub/bar with evening entertainment, most major sports on TV and internet access. It is very close to Europe’s largest Marina with an abundance of restaurants, bars and shops. There are five 18 hole golf courses nearby, two beautiful beaches, various other sports and water sports/parks enjoyed by all ages! It is approximately a 15 minute walk to the Marina with its beautiful yachts, restaurants and shops. You will also find the nearby blue flag Falesia beach.

Beautiful manicured gardens with adult and children's shared pool. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Towels (not beach or pool) and linen included. Apartment cleaned before you arrive and after you leave. If staying more than 1 week towels and linen will be changed at halfway stage with a clean of apartment also.

Great place for a months vacation in march the weather is great ,the apartment has a great location with beautiful views from the roof terrace ,,situated in the old village prestige ,the apartment is bright and airy with every thing you may need ,well worth stopping would certainly recommend it ,not more you can say but great

All you need

We have returned from a fab 7 day break, the apartment was very clean and tidy, all you need is there for cooking sleeping and totally chilling out on the roof terrace which was my favourite breakfast place . The directions from the airport were spot on we went by taxi but were able to follow the route that had been given to us it's about a 35 min transfer and cost 35 - 40 euros. You can explore if you want to but all the amenities are within walking distance ie supermarket, restaurants and the local pub all very friendly and the service and food great. We took a walk down to the marina when one of the mornings was overcast only takes about twenty minutes also full of nice eating and drinking places. All in all we will be returning very soon the old village area is a beautiful peaceful interesting place and the apartment rests in the middle of it all, thank you John we had a great time.

Prestige appartments

We stayed at this apartment in May of this year 2014. It is in a great location with roof a top terrace and great views to the sea and Vilamoura. The apartment is very well equipped, clean and well presented. Would we go back there..........Yes. Would we recommend it......Yes.

Great apartment in nice setting

I had a thoroughly enjoyable stay here in January 2014 & can highly recommend this property. Additionally the owner was very professional, helpful & courteous in my dealings on agreeing the rental.

The apartment is clean, nicely furnished, well presented & fitted out with all necessary equipment, bedding, towels, utensils, etc., & in my opinion is a perfect place to use as a base for spending time in the Algarve at any time of year.

Vilamoura was very quiet during my stay but I was aware of this; the Old Village location is safe & peaceful with local tourist amenities that no doubt come alive into the regular holiday season.

Anyone alone, a couple or indeed a small family could do a lot worse than to stay at this property ... I very much hope to return in the future.

The apartment was perfect.every thing one would need for self catering was there.all like new.Plenty choices of channels on TV.No need to go out to watch any sporting event any where in the world ,they were all a CD player.

The roof terrace was a great bonus.the complex itself was quiet it was ideal for a quiet swim.

I am looking forward to returning again

Special interest holidays:

There are nature reserves in the area popular with bird watchers and at the Marina every watersport is catered for. Ideal for walkers as area completely flat. Bicycles can be hired locally. Good sea fishing from beach, jetty or boat. Excellent super clean beaches. Vilamoura has won all the top awards for Ecology and this is evident from the cleanliness of the whole area.


The blue flag Falesia beach is within 5 mins drive as is Quertiere beach.


Faro is the airport for the region. 20 mins taxi, about 24 Euros. Due to the location of the apartment a car is not essential however the availability of one gives you the opportunity to see much more of the beauty of the countryside. I can arrange car hire if you wish as I deal with the same reliable company always. There is remote controlled off road parking at the apartment.


Nearest town is Quarteira which is about 3 miles away. It has the largest market on the Algarve plus daily fish and fruit market. A beautiful beach and excellent shops. Loule has great historical interest and a myriad of shops with a Saturday market. 20 minutes drive or take the bus. Algarve shopping is 20 minutes by car or bus and is a massive complex of the best shops on the Algarve. Albufeira is 30 minutes drive.

Further Details:

Nearest restaurant 3 mins walk. Supermarket 5 mins walk. Convenient bus routes. The "roadtrain " passes the apartment approximately every 20 minutes. A great way to get around, see the area and fun for children and adults alike. It will take you anywhere in Vilamoura. Vilamoura is a privately owned area of the Algarve. A spotlessly clean and environmentally friendly area with manicured lawns and palm tree and shrub lined roads. It has won many top awards. There is a Zoo Marine Park and also an Aqua Fun Park both within 20 mins drive or take the coach. Largest Marina in Europe lined with bars, restaurants and top class boutiques. There are too many attributes to name here but a look at "Vilamoura" on the internet will display the attraction of the area.
