Apartment near Moraira, Costa Blanca - Ideally Situated, 5 mins Walk to Beach, 5 mins Drive to Moraira

El Cortijo is located in the quiet residential area of Buenavista. Situated close to the coast road between Moraira and Calpe. Buenavista is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful beaches and coves along the route. The private pool and terrace have sun all day but shade is available if it gets too hot and of course the pool to cool you down! The outside kitchen and barbecue also provide a shady area for outside dining. Located a few minutes walk away is a shop, little Spanish bar, and a quality restaurant etc. A beautiful beach bar with magnificent sea views is just a short walk. Moraira is a short drive away and has a great range of restaurants, bars, beaches and much more. There are many things you can do locally such as any water sports, golf, historical sights to see, local markets and so on. We would be happy to advise you on any personal interests or hobbies you wish to pursue.

Outside: Kidney shaped pool, 8 x 4 with terrace, ample sun loungers are located in our secluded garden. Shaded barbecue area with outside kitchen and dining table. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Bed linen and towels are provided and are changed weekly. Beach/pool towels are not provided, guests must provide these. Other: Summer kitchen ,includes BBQ, Fridge, full cooker with oven and grill, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery etc, Microwave, music centre with wide selection of records.

Great place for a couple at a fab price.

Extremely pleased with our stay with Jackie, and her cat (who is outside most of the time). The private apartment has everything you need and offers good comfort and facilities for a short or longer term stay. Some nice things near by, or by bike or car some stunning beaches to chill out on for the day. I'd recommend staying here if you're looking for a holiday in Alicante. Jackie is awesome and makes you feel welcome. Many thanks :)

Owner's Response: It was very good of this charming young couple to take the time to right a review as I know they have a hectic schedule, going on from here to Valencia, they only stayed for a short time but certainly packed a lot in but still finding time to relax out side the apartment for a few hours each evening, I wish them well and you never know they might pass this way again one day, lets hope its soon.

Wouldn't hesitate to stay again!

Jackie is lovely and made us so welcome. We were on a house-hunting mission and it was a great base to explore from and Jackie was very patient with all our questions and so helpful. If we are in the area again would book immediately and look forward to it, lovely restaurants and beach within walking distance and great value on top!!!

Excellent apartment, lovely location.

Myself and my wife have just come back from a lovely break at this beautiful charming little apartment. It has everything you could need there. Decor is excellent and the apartment is spotlessly clean. The pool area is also lovely and clean and tidy. Location is great with plenty of bars restaurants etc within easy reach. Beaches are within easy reach too. The owner Jackie does a brilliant job looking after the apartment and keeps it to a high standard. Would definitely recommend it.

Excellent place, excellent hospitality

A lovely place with a caring helpful host, Jackie could barely have been more helpful(without being intrusive). The pool was good-even in late October. Breakfast was excellent. I arrived late at night and was given hot and cold drinks plus some sandwich food. The sea is a few minutes away.Bravo.

The accommodation was as described and was perfect for my husband and I. The location is a great for exploring the area and only a 10 minute walk to coast, which has several lovely beach,clifftop cafe. Jackie and Les were ideal hosts, a blend of friendly helpfulness while not intrusive, and very kind. If returning to the area we would definitely rebook

Lovely Property, Great Location, Wonderful Hosts

It would be difficult to overstate the many qualities of El Cortijo: snug, comfortable accommodation, an expansive outdoor (but covered) cooking/dining area with BBQ, a lovely, immaculate pool with comfortable sunbeds and ample parking. The immediate area is quietly residential (a boon at night), but some excellent supermarkets, bars and restaurants are within easy striking distance, and the sea is minutes away; the attractive resorts of Moraira and Calpe are also hard by. Best of all, Les and Jack are simply perfect hosts: cordially hospitable, considerate, informative and immensely helpful, with a relaxed, friendly approach that immediately makes guests feel at home. (A generous 'welcome pack' of food and drink was a typical touch.) They're also jolly good company, and two friendly, characterful moggies complete a happy ensemble. A jewel of a place, possibly unrivalled on the Costa Blanca, and emphatically one to return to.

Moraira with its reputation as one of the most exclusive and prettiest towns on the Costa Blanca, has several blue flag beaches, these are all within a 5 minute drive.

The nearest beach to the apartment is Cala Advocat which is a 5 mins walk.

Calpes' long stretches of golden sands are a 10 mins drive.

Nearby Javea is a 20 mins drive and the Arenal is a busy, family beach with a promenade lined with cafes and shops.


Alicante airport is an easy 85km drive and usually takes around 1 hour.

Valencia airport is 105km and the drive is approx. 1 1/4 hours.

Car hire is recommended.
