Perfect location, secluded ~ highly recommend!
What a wonderful cabin for our family of 15 to enjoy. The hot tub, fire pit, pontoon boat, golf cart made the stay even better! Thank you for sharing your home with us:)
Nice well appointed home. Large pontoon held all 12 of us. Would recommend to a friend.
Fantastic Week on Lake Norris
Our family group of 15 spent a fantastic week at this home. The owner warned us MapQuest was not accurate for directions, but we found Google Maps, which we had downloaded at home, and matched the written instructions, led us there perfectly from both Gatlinburg and the Knoxville airport. (However, the Google driving directions from the house to the nearest marina were wrong!!!) The house itself is beautiful, as pictured, and the beds were comfortable. Everything worked and was clean. We had no problems. The kitchen is very well equipped...crockpot, commercial coffee maker, multiple toasters, lots of dishes and pans and utensils, 2 gas grills on the huge deck. There are multiple refrigerators, and a commercial ice maker. Unlike many rentals, everything but food was provided, i.e.: computer station and internet, land line phone with long distance, bath and beach towels, toilet paper, Kleenex, shampoo, dish and laundry detergent, board games, even a big tube to tow behind the boat, and camp chairs to take down to the dock, all provided. That made it so much easier, especially since most of us flew in, and could not have brought this stuff. It was really appreciated. The golf cart was invaluable getting the older family members to the lake, and the gravel path is very walkable and not as difficult as at some other houses we've rented on the lake. The pontoon boat was great, especially for everyone to take a spin around the lake together, although we also had my son's ski boat. (You are supposed to fill up the pontoon boat before you leave, and we found the marina hours are not reliable. They closed early our last night, and we had to take the pontoon boat back there to fill up when they opened at 9 AM before our 10 AM departure from the house, so plan accordingly!) Several of us enjoyed the hot tub in the evening. There is a fire pit, with wood provided, but we didn't use it. Everyone was too tired after long days on the water. We sunned, swam, tubed, paddle boarded and kayaked. (We brought our own boards and kayaks.) The boat dock was surprisingly old and worn, very unlike the house, and needs refurbishing, but served its purpose. The house is on a main channel, but there is a quiet spot to float and swim in the area beside the dock. Everyone in our group, from 6 to 70 years old, had a wonderful week, and never wanted to leave. Our deposit refund was already in the mailbox when we got home. Thanks, Paula, for sharing your beautiful home with us!
Perfect place to stay!! Super nice accommodations with great view of beautiful Norris Lake. A wonderful and memorable experience.
This house is AWESOME!! Six stars out of five!
We (three families and Papa and Gaga) have stayed in a lot of VRBO homes but this one by far is the best. The owners thought of everything you could possibly need and then provided it. It has the best stocked kitchen ever. Clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and still log cabin feel. We used the "house supplied pontoon boat" everyday. Norris Lake has our heart! We will be back a THIRD time (and fourth, fifth, etc..)!!
Wonderful Family vacation home!
We had a great time on our family vacation at your home. It was very accommodating. We had an awesome time!! Thank you
