Luxury Apartment in Chlorakas, Paphos - Set on a hillside in a quiet location, yet only 5 Min from main Paphos tourist area

Our luxury two bedroom apartment - Anemona View - is on the Thalassa View Gardens complex in Chlorakas, Paphos. It is a peaceful place yet only a few minutes from the main Paphos tourist area. Our apartment is fully air-conditioned, offers the full range of UK television channels, has a Wii games console and a computer with free broadband internet access (including WiFi). There's a large free-form swimming pool, a separate kiddie’s pool and a unique amphitheatre where you can sit and sip your wine while watching the spectacular sunsets. If you want to venture out you will find a great selection of restaurants, pubs, bars etc just a few minutes drive away. There's an English pub in Chlorakas village along with a few very pleasant local restaurants if you fancy a stroll. The restaurants and bars of the Tombs of the Kings Road are also very close by, and Coral Bay is just 10 minutes drive away. See our website below for many more details.

About Mark Turner

Our apartment is jointly owned by father and son David & Mark. Our extended family consists of our wives plus children, grand children and even great grand children.

We both had many individual family holidays in Cyprus before deciding that it was the perfect place to buy a property. David is now retired and Mark is an IT specialist but at whatever stage of life we may be our own visits to the apartment are always a highlight.

Why Mark Turner chose Paphos & Suburbs

We really felt at home in Paphos where English is widely spoken, and of course the sun shines. We love the Cypriot people who are very welcoming and will go out of their way to help if you have any problems.

Our apartment is located on the edge of the village of Chlorakas which is just a 5-10 minute drive from the main Paphos tourist area. Set up on a ridge overlooking the Mediterranean it benefits from breezes that make the extreme heat of the summer season more bearable. The resort of Coral Bay, with its beautiful beaches is also only a short drive away.

We love the area as it is the best of all worlds. It is in a peaceful and relaxing location but just those 10 minutes will get you into the thick of things with superb restaurants and bars, often with entertainment.

What makes this apartment unique

Having a large family we are very much aware of the needs of all ages and we have therefore tried to make our apartment a real home from home. It is more than a rental property. It is our second home and so we have furnished it to our own high standards and made everything available that we would expect if we lived there permanently ourselves.

There is a computer with free broadband and wifi access. We offer TV services both via satellite and also streamed via the internet to make as many channels available as we can. There is also a DVD player with a great range of DVDs, a Wii games console with a games assortment and an iPod/MP3 docking station.

Outside there is a large freeform swimming pool with sunbeds and parasols plus a kiddies pool and playground. There is also a BBQ area.

Notes on accommodation: Air-conditioning is provided throughout and is included in the price. Heating is also provided for the cooler winter evenings. Ceiling fans are also available in all living areas. A computer with free broadband internet access is available, along with WiFi. A local PAYG mobile phone is also provided. It is a no smoking apartment and pets are not allowed. Outside: All rooms have direct access to one of the two balconies (front/side) - both of which have sea views. One has a table with 6 chairs. There's a large free-form communal outdoor pool and a separate kiddies pool. There are sun loungers, sunbeds and umbrellas by the pools as well as showers, changing rooms and toilets. A local management company professionally maintain the apartment for us and are always available in the event of emergencies. There is also ample parking. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: Linen and towels are provided (excluding beach and pool towels) and a weekly change is included.

Special interest holidays:

Cyprus is a very popular dive destination and has several diving centres in and around Paphos. Cydive near Paphos harbour is the longest established and best known of the diving schools and will take both beginners and experienced divers alike. Fishing and boat trips, sailing, go-karting, horse riding, winery trips and walking are among the many other sports catered for.


Paphos harbour is a 10 minute drive away. There are many secluded beaches around Paphos. The closest is a small sandy beach just 5 minutes drive away, and the spectacular beaches of Coral Bay are a just 15 minute drive away.


Paphos airport is 20 mins away by car/taxi. Larnaca airport is approx 2 hours away. Car hire is recommended, although taxis are readily available. Driving is on the left and road signs are in English.


Chlorakas village is just a couple of mins drive away from local shops, restaurants and bars. Paphos harbour is approx 10 mins by car and Coral bay is approx 15 mins by car. There are 3 top golf courses all within 20-25 minutes drive, and the Troodos mountains are approximately an hours drive away.

Booking Notes:
Full payment is required for cancellations made less than 2 weeks prior to departure. 75% payment is required for cancellations made 2-4 weeks prior to departure. 50% Payment is required for cancellations made 4-6 weeks prior to departure. A £125 returnable security deposit will also be required against damages with the final payment.

Changeover Day:
Changeover days are fully flexible. The apartment will be available from 16:00 on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 12:00 on the day of departure.These times are flexible but will depend on bookings immediately before or after any confirmed dates.
