The Beauty of Country Life
Awesome piece of country life! Beautifully comfortable house with fantastic views in a country atmosphere. The peaceful country with views of longhorns in the pasture around a super pond. Great weekend getaway! Get out there and enjoy!
A little piece of heaven
Wow! What a beautiful place! Our group of 7 needed a spot to recover from junkin’ all day in Round Top and recover we sure did! Scott was there when we arrived exactly as promised and gave us “the tour”. First thing we noticed, “the ranch” was clean as a whistle. Comfy beds with lots of pillows. Once we all picked our rooms and settled in, the sun was setting so we went out to grab a quick glass of wine and boy was that sunset gorgeous. A view you just couldn’t believe! Loved it so much we were out there having coffee the next morning. In fact, it was so relaxing that it was hard to leave (however, we did and found some real treasures!). Scott was a perfect host and helped us feel right at home. Can’t thank him enough for allowing his guests to enjoy this little piece of heaven! We will be back - just as soon as we are able!
The only way to rest mid-way through the BP MS150
Cant say enough good things about the owners of this property. The house and property are clean and have everything you need for your stay. Scott will set up his fire/grilling pit on the expansive patio so you can cook a great meal while watching the sunset. He will take you on a jeep tour of his ranch and bring the heard up to the back fence for you to meet. Whether you are heading up for the blue bonnets, antiques, quick escape from Houston you cannot go wrong with a stay at this ranch!!
Very nice fit well with our needs.
Enjoyed our stay. We had no complaints.
Excellent
The Westview Ranch was a wonderful weekend retreat or for that matter it could be a wonderful week long get away vacation in the country. Very nice accommodations with excellent support from the owner. The home requires only your food needs and if you are looking for peace and quite, this is the place. If you are looking for a place that allows for time with family and friends to visit in a country setting, this is also it.
Perfect for large groups!
This was a ladies trip (8 of us) and we had a wonderful time. The house had everything we needed and was super clean. We enjoyed the animals and the quiet evenings in the country. The owner is terrific! He is super helpful. We would love to visit again!
Map
Antique Weekends in Round Top. For 3 weeks and twice per year, Spring and Fall, antiques from around the world are amassed for shoppers to partake in a "shop until you drop" event. The square of Round Top is less than 20 miles away and you will pass miles of antiques to get there from here.
BP MS-150 goes right through our little town of Fayetteville at the close of day 1. This happens just a short 4 miles from the house. Plus, many additional bicycling events are held in the area, as well as the training events, and time trials that occur right in front of the house!
