Iris Cottage is on a complex of town-houses and has a large communal pool. Its position is set away from the pool which is ideal when you want to relax on the patio and have breakfast in peace! The property is a 20 minute walk from Bar Street and a large selection of good restaurants. A further 5 minute walk will take you to the harbour area where there are more restaurants to choose from and where various boat excursions can be booked.

We had a wonderful time in Cyprus. Your lovely house was just perfect for us - quiet location but not too far away from things if you wanted. The house was very well stocked with all you need - a real home from home and very spacious especially the bedrooms. When the sun was too hot to sit in any longer we retreated back to the patio which was in the shade - perfect for sitting with a bottle of wine! The whole process was very easy - from first contacting you to actually arriving in Cyprus. To sum up - perfect, perfect, perfect. Hopefully we would love to go back sometime in the future -Sue and family, July 2013

Quality accommodation in a good location and at a very good price

Just returned from 3 weeks in Cyprus with the last 2 weeks staying at this lovely place. Everything you could every want in one place!!

It was as easy as 1,2,3 from the start of the booking process to handing back the keys.

As soon as I made contact with John I had replies giving up to the minute details on the process and requirements (all i needed being a Owners Direct first timer).

The directions to the house from the airport are first class and we arrived in good time to collect the keys from Andy and Tres next door.

Andy and Tres are valuable sources of information and are always willing to help or offer advice.

The house is situated in a nice location far enough (but not too far) from the hustle and bustle of Paphos. We had a hire car for the duration because we wanted to travel around the island but if it is your intention to stay within the bounds of Paphos then there is a very good bus service (and very cheap too).

The communal swimming pool is a lovely place to relax if you want to stay away from the beach at Coral Bay.

Definitely recommend Pambis Diner round the corner if you want a no fuss meal (including breakfast) or if you want the local cuisine then go to The 7 St Georges Tavern (need to book and closed Mondays) just check out Trip Adviser for this one.

Overall the place was beautiful, clean and had everything required for a pleasant stay and i would recommend this place to anyone young or old. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.

Loved every minute

When we arrived at the cottage we were very impressed. It is very comfortable and you have plenty of space. The pool and surrounding gardens are lovely & private. It is far enough away from all the pubs & restaurants but not too far for walking. We didn't want to come home. Will definitely be booking again. John was very easy to speak to & always answered any questions we had. It was lovely to meet Andy who looks after the property.

Everything as expected, and more.

The property was just as described and was really lovely. A nice distance from the hustle and bustle of the more tourist areas but well within walking distance of all the main shops and restaurants. Would definately use again.

Iris Cottage Paphos

We had a fantastic and relaxing 2 weeks holiday at Iris Cottage.

The house is very well maintained and is in a beautiful setting with a lovely patio garden leading to the communal pool area.

The only down side is we had to come home.

We are looking forward to returning to cottage in 2016.

Fantastic accommodation!

We are a family of 4 who have just returned from our third visit at Iris Cottage.

We usually try and book for mid April as the weather is usually very good, warm but not too hot for our youngsters (early to mid twenties).

The cottage is lovely and clean,a real home from home. The location is great as there are lots of restaurants and bars within walking distance and the sea front is a close walk too.

My little 6 year old loves the pool and every year we have been he has had full run of the pool as it's a little too cool for the locals. We always have a great time here and we brought our 11 month old girl on our latest holiday who enjoyed herself lots. It's so safe and secure, just a lovely way to see Cyprus and truly relax.

John who owns the cottage is lovely and extremely helpful as are his team Andy and Tresa who are on hand to help if needs be.

I couldn't recommend this accommodation any higher, we thoroughly enjoy our time at the cottage and will be booking another visit soon!

Great holiday, great cottage

We have just had 4 glorious weeks in Iris cottage, what a great place to stay, very clean and in a good location, couldn't fault it. On arrival we were welcomed by Andy who takes care of the cottage , who was on hand if we ever needed anything.

We found the pool was very clean and a pleasure to use.

We found that everything was within walking distance to all the good restaurants and entertainment.

We hope to use the cottage again as soon as possible , a big thank you to John for allowing us to use his lovely cottage.

Coast/Beach:

A 20 minute walk from Iris Cottage will take you to the local beaches in Kato Paphos. However if you want a trip to Coral Bay there is a very good bus service which will drop you right there!

Travel:

Paphos airport is 15 minutes drive from Iris Cottages.

You can hire a car to explore a little, however the position of the house is such that many local amenities are within walking distance.

Distances:

Pambis Diner is just 5 minutes walk away. Bar Street is 20 minutes walk away.

'The Garden of Eden' or Russian Market, with local fresh produce is 5 minutes by car.

Notes on accommodation: There are portable electric radiators in the bedrooms and calor-gas fire for cooler winter nights. The property is end of terrace and therefore benefits from additional light from side windows to the bathroom and dining area, and has a mature Hibiscus boundary hedgerow. The main balcony is located to the rear of the property and attached to the main bedroom, providing a delightful view and seating area, as seen in the first photograph. Outside: Outside there is a small private and well established garden, and patio with table and chairs for dining. The communal pool is large, and benefit from separate shower and toilet facilities. There is a good size sun bathing area around the large pool, which benefits from attractively laid out and well established gardens, maintained to a high standard by Pafilia. Utility Room: Iron and ironing board, clothes airer. Cleaning / Towels / Linen / Maid service: All bed linen and towels are provided. If your stay is longer than one week, then arrangements can be made to change the bed linen when required.
