Within easy reach from the villa is the stunning Gulf of Mexico, offering mile upon mile of white sandy beaches and warm turquoise seas, where dolphins, pelicans and manatees can often be seen in their natural environment. The villa backs onto a lake, ideal for any keen fisherman, and if fishing is your thing, there is no place like nearby Boca Grande, the Tarpon fishing capital of the world. Water sports, fishing and boat charters are available from local marinas and to cater for the golfing enthusiast there are 3 championship golf courses on the door step. The area is also served by a variety of supermarkets, stores and fantastic restaurants to cater for all tastes, providing a variety of quality food at reasonable prices. To the north are the theme parks and tourist attractions at Tampa and Orlando, close enough to visit, but far enough away to avoid the hustle and bustle, whilst to the south there is the Everglades, Captiva, Sanibel and Marco Islands and Miami.

everthing was as described
We had wonderful time.
Villa was brilliant and perfect for our visit.
The location and comfort were fantastic
We all really enjoyed staying here and found it perfect for our holiday we were able to have lazy days chilling by the pool and also exploring days out!
The local area (beaches) were beautiful also plenty of wildlife to enjoy
Lovely Villa in Perfect location
The location of this villa is one of the best we have stayed in on the Rotonda and would definately recommend. Louise was very helpful, making the booking process very stress free. The villa was very clean and well looked after making for a very relaxed holiday.Thank you Louise we had a lovely week, I don't think we will ever tire of the Rotonda love the peaceful location/wildlife and friendly neighbourhood
An excellent villa from which to enjoy Englewood
We have enjoyed previous holidays in the Rotonda / Englewood area but this was the first time we'd stayed at this particular property - and we were very pleased with our choice of villa !
The property has everything you could wish for to enjoy your vacation. It has been very well maintained and was clean & tidy upon our arrival.
All of the main features ( air conditioning , wi-fi , water , etc ) worked immediately and we didn't have any problems during our stay.
The booking process was very easy and Lousie ( the owner ) was always available to answer any pre-holiday queries we'd got. There is a local Maintainance Team available if anything should go wrong during your stay.
This year , we saw more wildlife than on previous visits to the area ( dolphin , manatee , Osprey ) and regularly saw a 'gator in the lake that backs on to the property.
This is a wonderful part of the world and this villa is an ideal property to base yourself at. Would definitely recommend it.
From the moment that you pull on the drive then enter the villa you can tell everything is right. we have stayed in about 12 villas and this compares with the best, all you need is right there. i would have no hesitation in having more trips to this villa. It is close enough to everything.
This area is the undiscovered Florida and hopefully it will remain that way for a few more years. We have rented this lovely home on about five or six occasions now and we never cease to enjoy the location, weather and peace and quiet. Backing onto a lake the location is wonderful and the wildlife amazing. The beaches, only 15 minutes drive away, are spectacular and always incredibly quiet. Whilst the home is very comfortable and provides everything you need to eat in there are plenty of nearby restaurants that offer good value for money.
Everything you need is only a short drive away and Port Charlotte, whilst not the most attractive town, provides all the shopping options you could want.
All in all we think this home offers everything you could need for a really enjoyable stay in this interesting and remarkably unspoilt part of Florida and we hope to go back on many more occasions in the years to come.

These amazing fish make an annual migration northward up the west coast each spring and hooking a 'silver king', some in the 150lb range, is relatively easy. Getting the fish to the boat is another story and the fish's reputation for aerial displays and amazing fight, places it as the number one sport fish for many anglers.
